@defaultuser8 the client says you are seeding the torrents, but for the tracker you are still leeching, because you have not downloaded all files.
The trick is, if you don't select all files from a torrent, when you finish downloading the files you want, you must pause the torrent. If you keep it running, it will stay consuming one download slot forever.
Once you pause the torrents, it can take several minutes for them to disappear from the leeching list, so you just have to wait.
@defaultuser8 that screenshot dont have any useful info, it only confirms what you already said in the title, that it's not downloading. To try to understand why, you must provide a screenshot of the tracker status:

I am the person who wrote the tutorial you mentioned, it only optimizes your client to prioritize seeding, it has absolutely no impact on other peers' ability of contacting your client.
How peers are able to contact each other is affected by various factors, including bandwidth, geographical proximity, client choking algorithms, port forwarding rules, user firewall, ISP firewall, etc.
When is it an issue
In some cases ISPs will rely on CGNAT to save costs, that is, multiple clients share one single public IP address. That can make peers unable to establish inbound connections, even if you set port forwarding connections properly. In this case you don't have a public IP that others can reach directly, the IP that the tracker "casts" to other peers as being yours, is the CGNAT IP. So when you start an outbound connection with peers, they are able to connect, but if it is the peer initiating the connection, the request is purged by the CGNAT IP, because your ISP has no way of knowing to which of their clients the request was made. One way to mitigate this shared public IP issue is by using a VPN that offers dedicated IP, making your PC directly reacheable for incoming peer requests.
When it is NOT an issue
No one wants to be negative, everyone is seeding and being mindful of what to leech. The outcome is: torrents will always have way more seeders than leechers. There's nothing you can do if there is too few people requesting the torrent pieces, and more often than not there will be no leecher at all.
Also, have in mind that when you start a torrent, you will see a list of peers connecting immediately. They are not neccessarily leechers! Your client prompts a connection to the tracker, and the tracker proceeds to connect you with other peers, for various reasons like checking the swarm health, or trying "optimistic" connections to see if those peers are responsive. Since no one is missing any piece, the connections are dropped.
There are very few settings you can tweak in your client that will effectively impact peer affinity. Fixed Upload Slots will make sure that your client is able to upload to a predetermined maximum number of peers. Setting it to Upload Rate Based, on the other hand, reduces the number of available slots based on your current available bandwidth, so your client might reject peer requests.
Same thing for Choking Algorithm, both Round-Robin and Anti-Leech actively denies peer requests based on peer behavior. Setting it to "Fastest Upload" will ensure that you'll always upload to the peer with the best bandwidth, regardless of other conditions.
None of these settings will make you have priority over othe seeders in the swarm, though. When you download a torrent that already has a high number of seeders, you are wasting your ratio, you're extremely unlikely to seed it enough to reach 1.0 and recover the amount you downloaded, let alone go beyond 1.0 and start "profiting". The only way to ensure that new seeders with lower ratio are "prioritized" in the swarm would be by creating a new tracker algorithm.
Start uploading and only download huge torrents if they are freeleech, that's the only way of increasing your ratio.

I don't think it's ever been documented, how the search works in this site... All I am passing to you is what I have learned by experimenting. So far, from everything I have tried, we have operators like AND, OR, NOT, LITERAL and ROOT:
ABC DEF equals to ABC AND DEF
All results containing both keywords.
(ABC)(DEF) equals to ABC OR DEF
All results containing at least one keyword.
ABC -DEF equals to ABC !DEF
All results containing ABC, omitting all ABC results that also contains DEF.
"ABC DEF" equals to ="ABC DEF"
All results containing the exact phrase.
ABC* equals to ~ABC
All results containing the root ABC.
There don't seem to be a way to perform wildcard search.
Every site has their own search algorithm, we must learn and adapt to extract the best of each. Have in mind that here search is boolean, it checks a database and outputs what meets the search criteria. It doesn't understand the meaning of the word or the intent of the query.
And lastly, the old in "search (old)" refers to the page layout. The search algorithm is the same in both pages.

just pause and resume the torrent quickly and it should start seeding, it happens with all my own torrets as well. sometimes they sit there with a lot of people waiting because i forget to do it.

The no-cookie RSS feed stopped working a long time ago, the site owner was made aware of this, if it's still not working it'll likely stay like that.
Here is an example of how links are served in the no-cookies XML file:

amp; appears twice, that was likely a failed attempt to fix a previous parsing error. Although the rest of the URL is fine, this duplication causes an identation error, so the RSS feed can be read but downloads won't work.
If you really want to use the RSS, set the login type to standard, and add the uid/pass cookies in your torrent client.
For qbittorrent, the option is in Tools > Manage Cookies
You can find your uid/pass cookies in the developer tools or using a browser extension.

You're very unlikely to get the expected results because on this site there is no tag system, the search is performed in the torrent title and description. There will be thousands of torrents featuring daddies that do not contain "daddy" anywhere in the title or description, same goes for many other subjects.
And using too many keywords can bring very poor results, as already pointed in a previous comment. And even for the torrents that happen to contain all keywords, there's no guaranteed that they are related to each other.
GayTorrent uses Boolean search, it does not have a Natural Language Processor, so it cannot possibly "interpret" the intent of your query. For instance, in a NPL-based search, if you look for "muscular tall daddies" the algorithm will understand that you are looking for daddies who are muscular and tall. In a Keyword based search, you are simply looking for 3 keywords that have no correlation.
Using negative search to exclude generic keywords will filter out a lot of torrent that could be exactly what you're looking for. "Short" is a very common word that is used with multiple intentions, not always it's used to address someone's height.
To have a better chance of finding what you want, keep the keywords minimal, and instead try to filter out results using the categories filter.

If you search for: guigsims holenextdoor you are making a search for torrents containing both the terms guigsims AND holenextdoor.
If you want to search for either one OR the other, do (guigsims)(holenextdoor) with each string between parenthesis and no space between them.
If you want to search for an exact phrase, use quotations, like "guigsims guilherme oliveira"
If you want to exclude a word use: guigsims -guilherme or to exclude an exact phrase: guigsims -"guilherme oliveira".
