Ratio falling even though I mostly do FreeLeech only
-
I have uploaded many gigabytes in the last few months and cashed in my bonus points, yet my ratio keeps falling. Almost all my torrents are FreeLeech. It also shows that I am seeding 871 torrents when I have maybe 100 torrents seeding. Any suggestions? Are the ratio counters not working properly for others. Thanks for your help.

@cowboyjim99x By "uploading" do you mean that you are uploading NEW content to this site? Or are you SEEDING the content that you download from this site?
Seeding is good, but unless someone else is downloading (leeching) what you are seeding, you get nothing for it.
The site does know how many files you are seeding, perhaps the site should give some credits for how many torrents you SEED for how long even if nobody is downloading them.

@lololulu19 Thanks for your reply. You are correct. I mean seeding. According to my torrent client, I see many gigabytes that helped seed the torrents. In the past few months, I would estimate 100 gigabytes of upload (seeding). My downloads have been mostly free leech, with the exception of maybe 20 gigabytes. So that's 80 gigabytes up and yet my ratio drops almost every day.
As far as the 928 torrents that says that I am seeding, I don't have that many files available to seed. That number should be more like 100.
My point is that since the seeding number is obviously incorrect, perhaps my falling ratio is incorrect as well.

@cowboyjim99x you should definitely go to your Details & Stats page, scroll the page down and check the completed torrents list. Check if you recognize all torrents in that list, and if you are sure you have downloaded them yourself.
If you only download freeleech stuff and has only ~100 active torrents, the site reporting a higher number, and a decreasing ratio, likely means that other person is using your account.
I suggest you to write a message to the helpdesk to obtain help on how to get a new ID, otherwise your account stats will plumet.

@cowboyjim99x assuming that someone else is using your account, I suggest changing your PASSWORD only. Changing your account ID would result in losing your future credits for anything you previously uploaded, and if someone is accessing your account, they would still be able to access your account because the password is used to access your account, not the user id.
Maybe I misunderstood something, but my point is that the first thing you should do is change your password. See if that solves the problem, and if not, then try other solutions.
