@ianfontinell-0 Honestly, it just keeps coming back, over and over again. It's not just on this site either. I;ve seen the same pattern of behaviour on gay-area.org and gay-torrents.net. There's another very similar file of the same guy, with similarly pointless titles and descriptions, same sort of size and presumably uploaded by the same person that follows the pattern too, but this one is pretty prolific now.

This vid gets uploaded every few weeks, not just here but on various other torrent sites as well, sits there for a little while and then disappears. Before you know it the damn thing is back again like some mysterious rash on your boyfriend's taint.

What's the deal? Is it the same person every time? Are they removing it and then re-uploading again later? Are the mods removing it? And if it's the mods then why does it keep coming back? As far as I know there's nothing in the video that's against the rules here or on any site, but it's just really odd behaviour and I'm wondering if there's some reason for the pattern.

Somehow I doubt you'll ever finding a search query that is going to give you what I would call an acceptable set of results. Not because of the inherent limitations of the category system, but more because uploaders simply don't tend to put enough information on the site when they add something. What you've typed above is 10 times what you get written for most uploads, so your chance of getting meaningful hits from a torrent description is virtually zero.

I'm afraid you're just going to have to download the entire site and sift through them all.

My main PC is a bit of a beast, built specifically for running demanding flight simulators and the like. It's an i7-13700K with 64GB RAM and an RTX4090. It's what you might call hungry for power. I haven't put it on a meter yet, but I know it's drawing its fair share of electricity. (It's not a bad alternative to a panel-heater in the winter, so that's a plus!)

I'm considering getting myself as little Beelink (or similar) N100 mini PC to run a Plex server on. I used to be able to run Plex on my NAS drive, but Seagate decided last year that my perfectly functional NAS was vintage and "end-of-life" and pulled all the services for it, meaning the Plex software on it is out of date and also seemingly impossible to update. So the idea is to use an N100 as the server and simply plug the old NAS drive into that to use as storage. From what I've read an N100 usually only draws about 5-10W of power, so a fraction of what my main rig is using meaning I can happily leave it on 24/7 and not worry about turning the main rig on and off again every time I want to watch something in the living room.

What I'm wondering now is would it make sense to run my torrent client on it too? Again, fraction of the cost of the main PC and on 24/7. I can't see why not, but I'm wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom/caution when it comes to this. I'm undecided on just getting one for Plex due to the initial cost, but if its practical to run torrents on it too.....

Any thoughts? For reference, this is the unit I was considering getting, but if anyone has a sensible alternative without going wildly more expensive...

@odas523-0 That links to a torrent with 47 videos in it. I would imagine that the 4 people who are seeding it right now probably have whichever one you mean specifically. Have you tried downloading it? Forgive me if I've misinterpreted the question....

That site reckons it to be around 18% across the population. I'm not going to demand that anyone believe the figures given there, but they certainly seem to track with other sites and results trending back as far as 2011 when the CDC said it was about 11%.

So yeah, the last 8 months must have been a doozy where you live.

Forgive me, but one aspect of this is bugging me. If you already have the file, why do you want to request a reseed? I'm sure there's going to be a sensible explanation, but it eludes me.

@logidan I'd follow @OKCancel-0's suggestion if I were you, and try to resolve the issue of the inactive account. If you don't then there's a possibility that if you were to set up a new account during open registrations or via an invite it might get flagged as a duplicate account. That could cause you an even bigger headache in the long run. An inactive account might be fixable, but a ban for multiple accounts (if they decide to go that way) probably isn't.

@makigott Not wanting to sound rude or unsympathetic, but shouting in all caps on the forum like this probably isn't the best way to resolve this.

Looking at your link, it looks like the upload has been temporarily removed from the site while it gets reviewed to make sure everyone in it is of legal age. This is something I personally 100% approve of as it protects not only the site itself but also all the members.

If you want to try and get a productive response may I suggest that you write politely to the helpdesk to ask what happens next?

@courbinjc-0 While we wait for the inevitable arrival of the usual "burnt vagina" (their own words) who will no doubt happily repeat their own tale of woe for the umpteenth time, it's worth remembering that sharing is something of a lottery, and if you're unlucky enough to get your uploads spotted by someone with an interest then this is one of the risks you take.

Just be grateful that a temp ban from here is probably the worst that will happen, unlike the old days of Napster and Bearshare where ISPs were dropping people when they got found out. I'm afraid all I can say is take it on the chin for now and decide if you still want to contribute in the future. I'm sure many members appreciate what you've done up to this point.
