    • RE: Is it worth it?

Having a relationship and having sex both nourish you, albeit in different spheres.

I think the problem with dating is that it is an activity we do expecting a result: a full-fledged relationship.

Whereas if we go only for sex, our expectations aren't that deep.  We expect at least a decent fuck.

Maybe you give much weight to dating and getting into a relationship? Enjoy your single life, learn to value yourself as a lone individual and treat any possible relationship (and the dating needed to get there) as just some a nice extra that can come or won't into your life.

(Seriously, is this shit because of the recent legalization of gay marriages/civil unions? I swear that the moment we start deeming single gay people the way heteronormative people deem single persons -as spinsters and losers- I'm gonna go out and kick some asses)

    • RE: Public Display of Affection

As long as is tender and in good taste.

I despise heterosexual couples who act like dimwits or eat each other down as if they wanted to procreate in public.  Same goes with homosexual couples.

    • RE: How'd you react if your kid was homophobic?

Homophobia doesn't develope out of thin air, it had to be nourished somewhere.

If my child had homophobic ideas I would, first, explain to him/her at the best of my possibilites how homophobia is wrong. Second, I would sniff out where he/she is getting all that shit from and cut my son/daughter from it.

Of course if you do something douchey like divorcing your wife without any explanation and then go live the gay-party-boy lifestyle, you screwed up, BIG time.  Either the child is gonna hate you (and the mother would nourish that hate) or he/she would grow up to be an irresponsible ass and will use you as an example.

    • RE: What about having a full gay family?

I agree with petshop…don't call it a 'shit'.  Is not the end of the world...if someone is bent on having grandkids, the gay sons and daughters can always adopt or make use of artificial insemination and surrogate mothers.

I'll admit that some parents like to make their gay offspring feel bad by stating that 'luckily' they still have another son/daughter who is heterosexual...now, that's what I call real 'shit'.

If I decide to have a family I would accept all my sons/daughters even if they ended up being heterosexual.

It would be a very interesting case study in psychology, sexology and even sociology though.

    • RE: Should obtaining a marriage license include taking a test on your spouse?

But you pay for the license right?

I bet impulsive marriages make 90% or more of the revenue from Country Halls/Civil Registry or whatever you guys call it in your respective countries. The State needs moolah!

Besides, if the marriages goes sour there's always divorce (or turning yourself into a widower)

There's also the topic of social mores…when someone proposes 'everyone' expects for the proposal to be accepted, this puts heavy social and peer-pressure weight. Which in turn makes people more prone to make a bad decision.

When in doubt: marry by separate ownership of your goods.

    • RE: Facial Hair or Smooth Face?

Kinda pretty hard to tell, I've seen clean shaved guys that I find handsome, but the same applies to beared guys and guys with stubble.

(Though since stubble is kinda the middle way you cannot go wrong with stubble)

I reckon that if a guy has a full beard or a stubble, it must be neat and well groomed. Those lumber-sexuals can go fuck themselves, honestly…the contrats of a bushy beard with dandy groomed hair shocks me in an unpleasant way)

As long as it doesn't smell like food coughvanillacough

I don't feel comfortable smelling like a dessert, and guys who smell like food distract me because they make me feel hungry…the 'normal' kind of hungry.

    • RE: Beard trimmer recommendations

Wahl is a good brand, you might want to check it up.

Also use the metal guards and make sure you can buy the lubricant oli for your clippers when they need maintenance.

    • RE: What type of head hair do you have?

      Wavy and light brown.

I usually get it cut short since it 'holds out' ( I would need it to have it very long for gravity to make it fall) making my head look like a broccoli.

      I like both.

(on a side note, shaved -not trimmed- pubes on an adult male look ridiculous)

I think is really swell he finally decided to come out and that his former wife and their daughters are supportive of him.

Sometimes, embracing the truth instead of living a lie is better for all parties involved.

      Welcome.  ;D

Damn! Now I want some buns covered with honey…

And I'm not talking about bread ones.  😎

    • RE: What time do you usually go to the gym

I usually go at 5:00 pm

Is the time my designated instructor is there, there's not many people to hog the machines and by that time I have most of my day's schedule done, so the only thing that worries me is heading back home too late.

    • RE: Lose weight in 1 week?

If you want to become slimmer in just one week, sorry to break your bubble.

Even if you managed to do that, the rebound will be so hard you'll get even more fatter.

You have to lose weight gradually like .5lbs per week.

If you want to do it done w/o weights, use your own body weight and also consider diet.  What you eat is an important part of the equation.

    • RE: Best brand of protein ?

      @ab1963:

anything with the highest % protein (why isolinate) per 100g and the lowest sugars per 100g
      good luck

He's right.  Most of the time you'll end up buying the brand's name more than anything else.

Just check for the highest protein per 100g and the lowest sugars

      Well…

'Healthy' can be any fruit you like or even some raw veggies like carrots.

I personally like amaranth bars: portable, sweet and some might have raisings and peanuts.

    • RE: Anti-gay pastor promises 'cancer in the butthole' of every gay and 'flames' too

I'm not even gonna attempt to speculate the pastor has some pretty deep internalized homophobia.

Problem with these nutjobs is that they have a flock of blind sheep that actually swallow the crap they say.

But I bet that when the time comes that paster is gonna have the flames up in his own ass for all eternity.

(I mean, isn't all this hate crap equivalent to uber-super-hyper-megalomaniacal pride, which is one of the 7 deadly sins? Is practically stating you're pure while others aren't and taking your admitance to Heaven for granted)

    • RE: Gay Christian Rocker Booted From Music Festival After Stagehands Threaten To Wal

Really can't tell…when I found out I ws gay and that mostly all religious groups are to some degree against homosexuality I just turned into 'Spiritual' or whatever than means.

Truth is, you'll find religious people that truly live up to their religion's messages of brotherhood and love, like that Ska group that allowed the singer to join in with them at the concert's closure.

On the other hand, you'll find religious people so numb and hypocritical like those stagehands.  I bet that just because they were 11 of 14 they attempted to get their 5 mins of (in)fame(y).  Sure they got 'em, and later no one will remember those retards.

And lastly, take the lesson that is better to legally and officially hire people instead of having volunteers, so you get things done professionally.  Honestly, the event managers ended up looking like retards and cheapskates.

      Trimming is best IMHO.

But if you don't have your trusty trimmer on hand…you have to man up and pluck 'em out.
