    • Any suggestions for easy to prep lunches?

      Hi guys!

      I usually make the same lunch for work and I prepare enough to last for the week.  I'm not bored of it, but I also want to try some more ideas.

      I'm currently having white rice with ground beef prepared akin to what you would call chili, and apples.  I also have only two pots (since I'm renting just a room I don't want to purchase more stuff)

      Got any ideas for other easy to prep lunches that don't need me to have a full set of pans and pots?

    • RE: Shower at the gym or at home?

      At the Gym mostly.

      I'm renting a room and the shower is so-so, besides in the gym I can shower for as long as I want (yes, I love loooong showers)

      Looking at guys is kinda "meh" though…most enter the showers in their undies (and exit the showers areas with them)

      Though looking at older moen with strong bodies encourages me to keep working out...I tell myself: "I want to look like that when I reach that age"

    • RE: Would you agree that gays IN GENERAL are attracted to "their own kind"?

      @raphjd:

      Of course, people are attracted to their "own kind".

      I would never be with a person who hates dogs, for example.

      I could never be with someone like Nathan Lane's character in Bird Cage.   Likewise, I couldn't be with a leather head or a 90s bar queen (you know the outfit).

      This is a really good point.  Attraction has a physical and a mental component.  If we say "to our/their own kind" we are implying many things here, not just physical attraction.

      I have felt physically attracted to guys of age groups, racial groups and body types different from my own.  But normally is their attitudes and interests which seal the deal…or break it.

      Now...the look-alike boyfriends...that's really scary as it makes me think of overly narcissistic and overly dependent persons or that our beauty fashions have become homogenized, and mass produced and distributed.

    • RE: Is watching porn ok in a relationship?

      I don't think porn is bad, is a fun way to get ideas and to get into the mood.

      Once you two get it going, don't watch the porn, watch your partner (or watch it in discreet glances, I myself get bored with doggie style as I need to watch my partner's face, not his back)

    • RE: Quick and easy recipes?

      Ground pork with vegetables and chipotle, plus white rice.  (Rice can take just 20 minutes and the point to get it right is your rice to water ratio)

    • RE: What Spices to add to Pork Loin Steaks?

      I personally use cumin, paprika and powdered onion.

      I don't like really using chili powder, but I add chipotle sauce for a little spiciness.

    • RE: Sweat in the gym?

      It's either their towels or the sanitizing wipes the gym offers.

      I'm not really a fan of using your own gym clothes to wipe out the sweat, you are soiling them even more and you wouldn't be really cleaning the sweat as with the desinfecting wipes.

    • RE: Can exercise make u gain weight?

      @raphjd:

      Muscle weighs more than fat, so you can expect to gain weight at the beginning.

      Go by how you look and feel and not what the scales say.

      That is right, your body will develop its muscles so you will be weighting more.  The important thing is to realize that the surplus weight comes from additional muscle mass and not fat.

    • RE: Can i lose weight with diet alone?

      @USHorizon:

      I'm personally a fan of diet and exercise. But I strongly encourage constant work, lifestyle changes, and working on practical results. So many of the models of what we should look like are unrealistic for most people.

      Lifestyle changes are the key here, you don't have to feel you are on diet or exercising, make them as part of your every day, turn them into habits.

      The male models are indeed unrealistic and some are really unhealthy.  We really need to understand they are either A) Using steroids or B) They actually had prep workouts and diets in order to get shredded for comercials and photos (they do not look like that all year around)

    • RE: Gym memberships

      I pay 360 MX pesos per month, plus an annual fee of 1000 MX.  Works for me.

      No other special benefits, the VIP membership has tanning beds and 'colagen clinic' (whatever that is), but it doesn't interest me.

      Wish I had a gym with a pool but those are super pricey and not near where I live or work…

    • RE: The Gay Community's Fear and Loathing of Asian Men Must End

      I used the remember the Advocate being very good…what happened to it?

      Anyway, another rant regarding race.  Though the writer must remember he's developing in a society that, even as the melting pot it is, still groups people of certain races into certain cliches.

      I find certain asian men to be incredibly sexy...yes, I had pervy feelings towards Jackie Chan.  Bruce Lee's bare and ripped torso during the mirror-maze scene in Enter The Dragon aroused certain feelings in my younger self...pretty strong ones.

      What I'm trying to say is that for every Asian complaining about their 'de-sexualization' by the evil and vain white men, there are several white men who love 'em.

      (Granted, there are handsome asian men and ugly asian men, just like with any race)

    • RE: Masturbation makes you gay, according to a leaked mormon guide

      @raphjd:

      Graham Crackers were created as a cure for masturbation, as were many other foods.

      Let's not forget Kellog's Cornflakes aka Anti-masturbation Flakes.  He believed a bland diet was what young people needed to 'ease their urges'.

      (But surely he didn't take into factor that you can put almost anything in your cornflakes to enrich the taste)

      Regarding the Mormons…this is a good laugh.  Wish they were so lighthearted when it comes to gay issues.

    • RE: Study: Gay couples are vastly happier than heterosexual couples.

      @JohnAllenson:

      I'd love to have a look at the actual study.  Where they asking people "Are you happy?" or were they testing for indicators of contentment?

      It would be good to see this research replicated in other countries.

      That would be nice too.  As raphjd mentioned, they do not have the conflictive gender issues but also relationships are more complex: they don't depend solely on who you are with, but also about factors of your lifestyle and current situation and how each member deals with their own issues and those of their partner.

    • RE: Bath gels or soap?

      I've tried bath gels and honestly I feel I waste a lot of them for scrubbing my body clean.  Also, I've used some that say they can be used as shampoo…but nah, I don't feel they clean my hair and scalp.

      So Soap and Shampoo all the way for me.  I normally use a brand called Zest. 😄

    • RE: SJWs win, I'm now trans.

      Vaginas! Vaginas (natural and made) EVERYWHERE!

      (But seriously…Vag spreading, explaining...you kill your language with every breath)

      But what do you expect raphjd?, Women (third wave feminists, to be more exact) are playing the victim card like they never did before.  They have mentally emasculated men, it is just a matter of time before they demand them to do it in real life.

      Any effort to establish masculinity (real masculinity, not that ridiculous machismo) are diminished and made fun of.  My only hope is that this does not spread to the southern countries and stays being a Nordic-AngloSaxon phenomenon.

      Can you guys explain, to a total foreigner, why it seems people in Britain have a beef with redheads? Or if it isn't some sort of beef, why always those kind of jokes?

      I would love to know.

    • RE: Trannies - gender and race

      @raphjd:

      We even have trans-DISABLED.     Yep, completely healthy people who want to be/claim to be disabled.

      Has anyone else noticed that it's always white people that are all these crazy "trans" things?    We have demonized being white, being CIS, be male and everything else that is the norm, that these very people are wanting to be something else.

      As oppressed as we claim everyone else is due to whitey, you don't see blacks claiming to be trans-RACIAL.   You don't see Chinese people claiming to be trans-AGE.    You don't see muslims claiming to be trans-DISABLED.

      My first reaction after reading this was that you gotta be kidding.  The level of stupidity is undescriptable.  But again, you're right.  Being white, male and cis…and feeling comfortable about it has been shamed to the point of self-delusions and self hate.

      Anyone of the site's SJW want to defend the case of this obviously retarded Black Vagina?

    • RE: International Mens Day

      Well, that sounds awful.

      Feminism is not about equality anymore (if it once was…), is just about imposing a matriarchy that mimics exactly the so called patriarchy and its flaws.  Make men invisible, make men feel inferior and guilty of any little benefit they get in society. Brand them as lust-bound, stupid animals and freaks that should be thankful that a being with a vagina deigns to even look down upon them.

      The most terryfying thing is, there are mentally emasculated males who believe and even applaud this.

    • RE: Things women don't lie about: rape

      They won't because they can't.

      Surely they would try to pull off some half assed apology which would then give a 180 degree turn to some nonsense and finally they would try to point the finger to… PATRIARCHY.
