The military and VA spend much more on Viagra than they do on gender reassignment.  Military law in the US still criminalises fucking someone other than your spouse, but that doesn't stop them from giving blue pills to single guys or troops deployed thousands of kilometers from their wives.

I totally agree.  I lived for a while in California, and in most jurisdictions fireworks are prohibited–even for the July 4 Independence Day.

Unfortunately, this doesn't surprise me, as "gender reveal" parties seem very self-obsessed:  Hey Karen, we know you're pregnant, and we're perfectly happy to wait until birth to find out the gender--that's some of the excitement of it.  "Gender reveal" parties seem to be more about the pregnant couple than their baby, and that doesn't bode well for the kid's upbringing.  (The gender revealed can also be wrong; one can do an ultrasound image of a male foetus and miss that little appendage that gives away the gender.)

But above all, let the record show that Brother Raphjd and I concur on this point.  That doesn't happen very much...although I imagine that if we sat down over a beer we'd fine plenty in common.

In general I agree, but at a basic level it's people who lie, not large institutions.  That said, people in an autocratic government who will tow the party line to preserve their jobs and, in dire cases, their lives.  We saw this with Hitler, very likely with Xi, and definitely with Trump.

I think this is key.  Some films will be obviously gay-themed (by most definitions), while others will need an explanation–and that can add to the enjoyment of the film.  If the "gay connection" is not obvious, and it's not explained, users should expect a gentle comment to the effect of, "Is there a gay theme here?"  Responding with a hissy fit that one of the day players in scene 241 was gay in real life doesn't cut it...although we see that a lot.

Uploaders shouldn't think of their torrents as raw meat tossed into a shark tank, but rather as a menu item for viewers to consider.  Make an argument why a person should invest not only dowload volume but the time to watch the film.

In reading posts over the years, I find myself generally in agreement with our brother Flozen.  I am, though, an active church-participant, even if if I'm not sure what/how much I believe.

Differences on these topics are better addressed by rational discussion than inflammatory imagery.  I have a strong dislike for a specific American political figure, but I would never post a photograph of my excrement resting on a photo of his extreme comb-over.  Even my digestive droppings deserve more respect than that

There's software that can do this, but there's no reason to.

The video you're starting with has 480 pixels vertically of content.  Interpolating more is not going to increase the sharpness.  Also, if the original only "took a picture" 30 times per second, adding a frame between these won't make things look better.  And while software can fake a higher resolution or frame rate, it's more likely to do more harm than good.

If you have a standard definition DVD (usually 640x480, 29.97 fps if it's NTSC), you'll get the best results on a computer monitor or large screen TV if you let those machines scale/stretch the video to their screen sizes.  The software in those machines is tuned specifically to optimize the result to their screen sizes.

Bottom line:  You can't add sharpness, detail, or motion to a video that doesn't have it in the first place.  Let your monitor or TV do the work.  Attached below are two random frame grabs from random videos, probably shot on analog tape in the 1990's, at 480x320.  All the upscaling games in the world won't make them look better.

That said, I don't believe in forcing vaccinations on people who don't want them…as long as such folk don't have ANY interaction with the rest of the public.  Maybe let them move to one of the deserted islands in the south Pacific where nuclear tests were conducted.  (They probably don't believe that radiation is harmful, or that the island will soon be awash by rising sea levels.)  The rest of the world won't miss their absence from the planet.

This can be a problem with 3-ways.  I did a 5-way once, which soon turned into 2 in one room and 3 in another.

I think five or six is probably a good limit, and that's assuming that the guys have some understanding ahead of time about who likes what.  Larger numbers work in porn scenes only because they're very carefully scripted and directed.

CO2 is not oxygen.  It is a carbon atom bonded to two oxygen atoms.  CO2 is where vegetation gets its carbon, and then it expels oxygen.  The problem is that there is more CO2 in the atmosphere than vegetation can absorb, which causes the the temperature of the atmosphere (and thus the Earth's surface) to rise in temperature.  This is not a conspiracy theory; it is settled science.

EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler noted that 50,000 gallons of raw sewage was dumped into an Oakland estuary, due to windmills not being able to maintain the needed power, when back up waste water pumps failed.

The sewage release was caused by a power outage resulting from excessive electrical demand due to an extreme heat wave (think CO2 in the atmosphere).  One notes with amusement that Wheeler's inane comments were made at a speaking engagement held at the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library.  I am not making this up.

There is no "green new deal" in California, or elsewhere in the US.  It was proposed by some far-left congress people, but lacks the support to move ahead.  It is not in the platform of either major political party in the US.  It is not going to happen in the forseeable future.  [Personal opinion note:  I do not think the "green new deal" has been thought through; it strikes me as simplistic political grandstanding.  I am not disappointed that it is dead on arrival whenever it's mentioned.]
