When I add a comment to a torrent's page, I can't edit my message after posting it or delete it. Is this function disabled by default? If not, please tell me how to do this because it sucks to be unable to fix a simple typo!
Right above the white box with your comment you'll see the word [Edit]–click on that, and then you can edit your comment. See the screen grab below. The new comment will say edited in the box, but that's not a problem. It seems that we can edit comments no matter how old they are.
I don't think we can completely delete comments–at least I haven't found a way. When I want to remove a comment, I use the "edit" feature, then remove all the text and put in something like <c<em>omment deleted by user>. That's a little clunky, but at least I've removed what I said before.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who makes a tyop now and then.

Hey all,
I'm writing this because I figured I have a serious problem. I'm a 20 year old gay guy and since the quarantine happened, I have had a lot of free time. Instead of being productive, all I can think about is jerking off or playing video games. I am also attracted to wrestling. There's a website that I check almost every 5 minutes for new wrestlers in my area. I am always horny. I don't know how to stop. I hate feeling like this. My eyes are hurting from starting at my phone all day. I am starting to neglect my other responsibilities because I'd rather be touching myself.
Please help, I tried to stop by myself and it didn't work.
First off, you can congratulate yourself for not only wanting to make changes in your life, but also sharing them in a public forum like this. That takes real courage, and it probably puts you half-way to your desired outcome.
These quarantine times are very strange for all of us. I spend a lot more time on this website than I used to…and many of us have put on quarantine weight, which is a such a no-no in a culture that often idealizes guys who are as skinny as a toothpick.
As for "touching yourself" more often, that's part of the quarantine experience: Since you're not mingling in the conservative and homophobic community you mentioned in your update, you're in an environment (home) where you can be as sexual as you want. This new-found freedom is something to be celebrated, although of course you don't want to go overboard.
Since you've identified some things that you want to change, you can start by taking baby steps towards what you want. Deciding that "from now on I won't watch porn, and only eat celery and kale" is setting up for failure. Change in our lives is a process, not an event.
Please let us know how you're doing, and know that you have a community of people who care about you. Feel free to send a private message to me if you want.
I don't get it, sorry…
what do you really mean?
_I went back to my left hand once it healed.Another question related to all this is whether people use a "forehand" or "backhand" technique: I would call "forehand" what we see most of the time, with the palm underneath and the thumb outward. I usually use "backhand," with the palm on top and the thumb closest to my body. (I hope that explanation makes sense; if not, I can dig around for some pictures.)_
Gee, who knew that that we'd have to teach wanking techniques on a gay porn site?
See image below.
I'm not a Catholic myself, but I taught at Catholic universities for several years. I think Francis is more LGBT-accepting than his predecessors, and on a visit to the US, he had a well-publicised private meeting with a former student and his husband. At the same time, it's very hard to change the direction of a large institution with hundreds of years of tradition behind it–assuming he wanted to.
That said, the Catholic church is not as monolithic as some think: At the local church level, some parishes are very diverse and inclusive; others are quite the opposite.
There's also a lot of variation by country/region: I worked in Sydney, Australia for a while, and while the Anglican church there seemed quite homophobic, the Catholic church (at least the cathedral and its music programme) seemed very inclusive and welcoming. That's a contrast to the US, the "Episcopal Church" (part of the Anglican Communion) is very LGBT-inclusive.
And after recovering, are you using your left hand again or you got used to using your right one?
I was always a leftie until I broke my left wrist and it was in a cast for several weeks. I then learned to use my right.
I suppose that makes me ambisextrous.

can please made a topic for category description ? little meaning of every one
I'll work on this, this week.
I recall a thread some time back addressing definitions of "twink" and "youngblood." Let it suffice to say that there was a divergence of opinion. These are admittedly somewhat fuzzy concepts, but I think we can set a standardised definition and ask everyone to follow that.
Another area of ambiguity comes up with "straight" categories. On one side, some people who have "straight" categories turned off in their user profile post male-female material without a "straight" label. Others take material like "StraightGuysSuckingCock.com" (a fictional title) and put it in a "straight" category, when it's definitely male-male material. It might help to clarify these topics for people.
Of course, all of this assumes that people read–and heed--the rules and the forums. That's not often the case, and I don't know how to fix that.
I'm one of those apparently unbalanced, degenerate gays – super gay, really -- who occasionally downloads straight, bisexual, FTM and MTF porn.
Not everyone wants to do that, but kindly allow me the option to indulge, especially as the "category option check-boxes" provide members with a significant amount of personalized veto power.
As well, bisexual guys don't mind video pussy with their video cocks, so their interests deserve representation. Imho, of course.
I am occasionally "straight curious" (porn only), when I hear that one of my favourite gay porn actors has done a straight or bi scene. I can then adjust my profile so that material shows up in a search. I think it's an ideal system that leaves the option up to the user, also allowing him to change it at will.
On a related note, a friend of mine said he would never, ever, have his cock in a pussy. I replied, "but you already have, unless you born by a C-section." He didn't appreciate my response.
To the OP: Just follow the instructions above to make sure there's a check in the "straight" and/or "bisexual" boxes, as you choose. This will filter out almost all pussy porn. Once a day or so, some uploader will not follow the rules and post some pussy porn without using a "straight" or "bisexual" label. This is usually promptly reported by members to staff, and the category gets changed so it's out of view.
I agree with you in being baffled why people would post pussy porn on a site called "gaytorrents." But then, lots of human behavior is baffling.
Our sysop has resolved this nuisance
Please pass on thanks from many people! He probably doesn't need seed bonus, but I could give him some seed. Or I'd take his. ;D
Also, download (and seed) very new torrents–such as those posted in the last half hour. If they're freeleech, great. If not, find a new one that has many files, and set your torrent client to download just a few of them--maybe 10% of the total file volume. You'll get those quickly, and then become a "source" for other leechers. Your ratio for that torrent will be large.
And...you're not going to be able to download big (>5 GB) torrents in their entirety for a while, until your ratio is better. A lot of users upload huge collections with no discernible theme (and garbage titles like, "My favorite fuck films"). Those aren't worth downloading...unless they're brand new and you're using the 10% technique I mentioned above.
My ratio was in the toilet for a long time, and then got worse when I had a hard drive crash and had to download stuff over again. Even now, I live up in the mountains and my cable internet goes down several times per day. But using some clever strategy has helped me build up a good buffer, so I'm ready for the next calamity.
I did try to just upload the whole folder but this happen.
I'm not sure why you would be uploading a .exe file: They are often used to carry viruses or malware, and I would never download one through this site.
As for the .zip problem, one user uploaded a torrent a few days ago where he just removed the .zip extension–so "bigfile.zip" was just called "bigfile." I then added the .zip extension after downloading it and it opened up just fine. (This works with Windows systems; I don't know about MacOS systems.)
Do you think that "race" or religion can ruin a relationship?
I think we need to focus the question a bit: "Can difference in race or religion ruin a relationship?" It can; it depends on the people involved.
As for "race," different ethnicities have different levels of privilege in different societies. If one person in the relationship is of a privileged race, and the other is in a discriminated-against race, it's possible that one or both parties won't understand the experience of the other–or not be perceived as understanding. This can cause problems in a relationship.
As for religion, most countries (but certainly not all) are tolerant of religious differences. If the practice of a religion is very important to one party, and not to the other, things can work as long as there's mutual respect.
All of this assumes that a relationship has been formed. Some people will have a "going-in position" that they could not be in relationship with someone of a particular race or religious practice (or non-practice). That would filter out problems very early on, although if attraction develops after a casual hookup, people may need to revisit their initial judgments.
At the risk of going off-topic, it's not unlike a relationship between serodiscordant parties (one HIV+ and one HIV-). Quite often, an HIV+ person will assume that the HIV- party can't fully understand what it's like to be HIV+, and that can become a problem. This is becoming less of an issue as HIV treatment advances. (If you want to address the HIV+/- situation, I suggest starting a new forum topic on that, leaving this thread to the race/religion question.)
You have to keep checking…they show up, then get deleted presumably by a DMCA request from EL. Sometimes the torrents are named differently to "hide" them. I won't say what those code names are, but, for example, EnskuStrákarnir would be EnglishLads translated into Icelandic. Nobody has been that creative...yet.
Also, I've found that if there's a very new torrent containing many files, and I download just a few of them, my upload ratio on that torrent will be very large. I was in "ratio basement" a while back after a disk crash, and this saved me.
YES, but this torrent, being only partially downloaded (IE FILES SKIPPED) will FOREVER stay in your "Leeching Torrents" list, tying up one more of your download slots… forever.
Quite true…but once the torrent withers and nobody is downloading the material, I can delete the torrent and free up that slot. I suppose having a free slot is a good thing, but I digress....
Can we ban "filmstrip" pics as the first pic in the description, please?
I second the motion. I don't know where these come from, but even if they're ripped directly from another site, it's easy enough with screen-grab software to chop up the strip into manageable pieces. Maybe make a limit of no more than four images stacked vertically?
That being said, at least a filmstrip is better than a deadbeat torrent that doesn't have any images at all. It would be nice if the system software wouldn't upload a torrent if there were no attached images, but I know how tricky it is to patch software–especially stuff that works!
I was always a leftie until I broke my left wrist and it was in a cast for several weeks. I then learned to use my right.
I suppose that makes me ambisextrous.
It might be worth taking a look at the "Guide for Starters" and seeing if it can be edited to give newbies more tips on getting–and keeping--a good ratio. Perhaps it needs a warning against downloading like mad at first which digs the new user into an un-recoverable hole. People need to have reasonable expectations about what they can and can't do.
Also, maybe there's a way of making that guide required reading for new members (maybe it already is, I joined a long time ago).
Another thing that can help is to find a new torrent, just posted, that has many files. Then, select only a few of them–maybe 10% of the total size--to download. That's straightforward with uTorrent; I'm not sure how it works with other clients. That way, you'll get those first few files very quickly and become a "preferred source" for other downloaders. Your ratio for that torrent could end up being very high, especially if you've got a good internet connection. For example, right now I see 5GB torrent (Rafael Alencar) with only one seeder (the original uploader) and four leechers. Download that torrent, pick only a couple hundred MB of files to download, and you'll be out ratio jail soon.
Note also that torrents get "stale" very quickly...within a day or two, there are LOTS more seeders than there are leechers, especially for freeleech torrents. I recommend only downloading stuff that's very new--preferably, not more than a few hours old. It might not always be material that you like, but if you use the "select only a part" tactic I suggest above, it will help your ratio even if you junk the stuff a week later.
I hope things work out for you.
Yes! As long as you use protection you will be safe!
Nothing is ever 100% safe; it's all about risk reduction, not risk elimination. That said, topping a POZ/undetectable bottom while using a condom that doesn't break is very unlikely to cause exposure to HIV.
As another person noted above, a guy who knows he's POZ and is on meds and has an undetectable viral load is a safer partner than the many of us who were negative at our last test.
And yes, I've topped POZ guys, some multiple times, and a few times not with a condom. I'm not proud of that record, but I remain negative.
