That's absolute bullshit...they WERE, as these photos PROVE, far from secure at all and NOT under Secret Service protection. The Secret Service would also NOT have any business "protecting" federal documents like that. Their business is the protection of sitting and former POTUS's.

Here's the solution I found in case anyone else needs it in their BitComet.
Disable the setting seen highlighted in this screenshot. It stops .padding files from being created. Just described this to someone for their torrent which had a crapload of padding files, and this solution stopped them when he reposted his torrent.

An unfortunate side-effect of reading text on the internet is it's all too easy to layer one's own meaning or interpretation of someone's implied "attitude" onto someone's post. There was nothing "snitty" at all about dziber's comment.

Exactly...the world is indeed diverse, which means people are entitled to their own opinion of something. As far as relating to the comments you get on your torrents, that person is entitled to their opinion, regardless of the reason(s) why.

As someone said in a previous reply, all that really matters is how many downloads/hits you get on your torrents. Peoples' opinions and the "votes" don't matter.

The purpose is, for movies/videos for which no actual HD resolution exists, to enhance the image into a higher quality and size. If done properly, it can actually look quite good.

Quite frankly, if you never thought of it this way, many/most DVD and Blu-ray players and televisions will do upscaling of an SD signal into 1080p HD, or on a 4k television like I have, it can also upscale (and usually these devices do it automatically with an SD signal) to a near-HD look.

Since your disc players, tv's, and sometimes also your media players on your computer all can do the same thing, I don't understand why people question an upscaled upload here. Some people actually have bitched about upscaling in some torrent comments.

Even some cable tv and streaming signals online are actually upscaled to 1080p HD if the studio owning the movie/show hasn't done its own HD master from original elements.

It could also have to do with not only the speed of your internet connection, but it could also be that one torrent client is using a better open port than the other one. Next time look at what port each torrent client is using and choose to use the one which is downloading faster on both. Then maybe try using that port only on the slower torrent client to see if it makes a difference.

@lololulu19 Then you need to use the Report link to report the torrent with all the bad files so it will get deleted.
"Extremely rarely" is no reason to skip over it...when you find a torrent with corrupted or bad files, use Report on the torrent's page to report it.
