RE: 10 Photo Limit After Publish
hadmatter, sorry to say you probably did waste time making pics to help all us downloaders
Happy to say any torrent that is shared can NEVER be an epic fail. Thank you for thinking of us…
The posting of pictures with the torrents here is, erm, a matter for debate. Even if you get them all ready you have to plan your posting sequence because they appear on the torrent page in reverse order. You can plan for a lovely layout but if you post less than 10 pictures some idiot (like me) can post another one and upset your order.
A solution, perhaps, for you would be to add URL links where you think people might find a picture or pictures of the files you've posted. A bit messy perhaps.
And console yourself that sometimes too many pictures can be as overwhelming as too few are underwhelming.
I'm sure resourceful members will find their own information, any others can use the comment box underneath to ask

RE: Large Collection - All In One Place, or Broken Up Bite Sized?
I think you are being a little harsh.
First you don't HAVE to download anything, never mind the entire package. And a multi-file torrent will show what files are bing uploaded. And if it is a collection the poster will be TOLD, yes, told by staff, to list the files posted within the description area.
Given a file name and a basic description, it is rare that potential downloaders cannot do their own search. Failing that there is nothing to stop people asking a question in the comments below the torrent.
And how many people who have actually downloaded a torrent that might need thumbnails or extra pics have bothered to make some and post them.
I could give you the recipe for posting the perfect torrent…for me! Others will have their own ideas. But instead of saying we HATE anything (my grandfather did not allow that word) could we not just be grateful that people are willing to spend any time and bandwidth offering and posting anything.
As long as it doesn't break the site rules, the poster is king!
Of course, if anything doesn't come up to our own standards we could always ask for a refund…

RE: Large Collection - All In One Place, or Broken Up Bite Sized?
You are right…some people will see the total and go Not everyone realises they can pick and choose which individual files they want to download from a multi-file torrent.
I don't think there is a right way. A tip would be to make sure you point out in your description that it is possible just to download what the person wants, it is not just one take-it-or-leave-it file, but a collection.
You could also break it down into a series of smaller collections. But the more information you give people when you post, the better all round.
Thanks for thinking of sharing, I know these movies have been popular on another site.

RE: Leeching shows seeding files
I don't really understand the "shut down my downloads" but a small thought.
When you say 'completed' file does that mean you have downloaded every file in the torrent. Sometimes people don't download subtitles or pictures so that the torrent will always show as 'leeching'.
Just a thought, probably a silly one.

RE: No torrent with ID.
HI, jokoracetho
Yes, that means it has been here sometime in the past but the torrent been deleted from the site.
The most common reasons are:
It breaks the site rules
It is a duplicate
It has had no seeders for a period, no-one is interested anymore
Someone, perhaps a copyright holder, has asked for the torrent to be removed. The only people, generally who know the reason are the staff and the poster (who will, in most cases, get a polite message from the staff saying why the thing has gone AWOL.)
There is nothing to stop you asking why or if the torrent could be reposted.

RE: Large Collection of Wrestling Vids
For a detailed guide check here https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?topic=13697.0
It is really not as complicated as it looks there
Basically you should gather your stuff together after you create a torrent file in your torrent client using http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw as the tracker name. Make the torrent private
Click on Upload at the top of the page.
Choose your category
Add at least one picture
Add the torrent title (this is the title that appears at top of the page)
Put some description in the box
Add the torrent file
Click Do It and a torrent page will appear. Check it is how you want it (you can edit)
Download your own torrent and using THAT torrent (not your original) open the file in your torrent client and when asked to save it point to exactly the file that you made the original torrent from. The torrent client should start 'checking' and if it is OK it will start seeding.
On your torrent page after a few minutes the 'Visible No' should disappear and 'Type' will appear.
If you get stuck there are plenty of people to help you
Good luck

RE: Unfair ratios ;-(
Not always as 'simple as that', I think,
If no-one wants what you have to offer then you have to find other ways of upping your ratio.
And at least this newbie is joining in on the forums too, so credit to him for that
-
RE: Unfair ratios ;-(
It's a while since I was a new user so I'm not sure what advice is given these days. I don't know your circumstances so can't really comment.
But you only have 4GB to upload before you reach your minimum ratio so check out the Freeleech section or carry on seeding what you did download. And the staff are here to help if you need it. They don't like to cut anyone off from their pr0n supply

RE: Top 100 Greatest Gay Movies (Check this out!)
I know this is non-scientific but perhaps we could put forward some IMDB key words for Scott Pilgrim vs The World:
male male kiss
men sharing bed
gay
gay sex
homosexual
gay friend
gay kiss
lesbian stereotype
gay roommate
lesbian
gay seduction
gay seduction
male slaps a male ( )
lesbianismI know none of that is conclusive proof (I haven't watched the movie) but might be just enough to swing the jury so we get a complete set

RE: Top 100 Greatest Gay Movies (Check this out!)
I'm sure I searched too and I always include dead ones when I do that sort of search.
Sadly the subtitle file is not in the substitute torrent. Although they are in English I know they help members who are hearing impaired so perhaps I'll add them here and leave a link in the comments of the torrent
It's a shame about the 'Scott' one. I didn't download it as the plot wasn't for me but sad that our (or rather 2222's) project will not be complete

RE: A question about freeleech torrents & ratio
Hi monn, the short answer is 'yes' and 'yes'
You get some ratio credit for ALL seeding, whenever, however you do it.
The only difference freeleech makes is that you do not get 'charged' for downloading so any seeding you do goes straight to improving your ratio.
You also get the warm glow of helping to share
