You are right. I live in China now. I can speak and write Chinese now. My graduate student studied in China. In my mind, China is my home.
No worries there - I'm a believer in freedom to live where you want - part of my Libertarian views! That doesn't mean you get to move to the US (or China) and get free GOVERNMENT support, but if you can live here without Government support, I think you should be allowed.... and you should be allowed to leave when you want, as well (barring things like jail for criminal offenses, of course).

Now here you run into some trouble: "slander" is often in the "eye of the beholder". You're not allowed to slander in the West, either! The question isn't whether it's allowed, it's what the consequences are: Is it Government Enforced and a CRIMINAL offense, or is it a CIVIL matter between individuals.
In the US, you cannot "slander" the Government - you are protected under the 1st Amendment. But you can certainly slander individuals (as Trump and Giuliani are discovering from the voting machine companies - to the tune of up-to 1.5 Billion US dollars! But it will be CIVIL courts, and a CIVIL jury that will decide!)
If you have not been here. , Don’t talk to me about your knowledge of China. Your knowledge comes from the so-called free media in the United States. If I live in China, I don’t know that China is developing so well.
I think you made some grammatical errors there that belie a less-than-native knowledge of the English language. It could also be a simple mistake... but it IS suspicious.
Mind you. there are plenty of media reports - from Western "free press" media - that are reporting on the fantastic progress that is being made in Chinese infrastructure - some of your new highways are almost as beautiful as the countrysides that they are crossing! HUGE investments there! And beautifully done!

I suspect your media may be giving you false information there: the Covid-19 vaccines in the US are totally free as well. I just received my 2nd-dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday! $0.00 cost!
I won't posit on whether the mistaken notion that only the wealthy can afford the vaccine here is your's alone, or stems from your media outlets... it's just incorrect.
Now China is the safest place in the world. You just wait for the vaccine slowly.
Again, maybe your media outlets are misleading you: we're administering over 1.5 million doses per day in the US... and the Government thinks that is still too slow.... the limits of our vaccine distribution are the limits of the vaccine manufacturing... we're literally distributing and injecting people as fast as we can! It doesn't mean we can't do better! But, it does mean that we're not doing poorly!
I believe I saw a statistic last week that the number of people vaccinated in the US has now surpassed the number of people known to have been infected... I find that suspicious, and I don't have time to look up the source, but we're only getting 50-60K new cases per day right now, and 1,500K (1.5 million) are getting the vaccine every day - so if we haven't already passed that mark, we certainly will soon!
Oh, and again with the grammar issues... normally would ignore it (I hate the "grammar police" - except when the errors either leave the statement incomprehensible - or, as you did a few sentences before, they make the actual statement significantly different from the clearly intended statement.
But, in this case, as you have made your country and language of origin to be an issue, it's a valid point to make...
