@bi4smooth @Ricky Thanks for your responses. I'll try to link my device's MAC address to an IP through the router's settings. I hope I can find that option if there is one at all there hahaha

@bobi1990 I think I somehow made it to work, at least for now.

RE: Problems with dynamic local IP
@ricky I think I made it work, but it may stop working soon lol
I just changed the lease time in my router DHCP settings. Now the assigned IP lasts longer. Maybe that's just a workaround but I haven't had a reassignment in over a day so that's good.

RE: Problems with dynamic local IP
@ricky My router is Technicolor CGA2121.
Whatever I do it doesn't work. I try to reserve the IP by MAC address but it doesn't work. It keeps changing... I tried many things both in my router's settings and in the WIFI dongle settings. Nothing works. My local IP keeps changing to a higher number every half an hour or so...

RE: Problems with dynamic local IP
@bobi1990 It doesn't work again... I don't know what is wrong here, but the reservation always disappears, and I'm back to dynamic IP...

RE: Problems with dynamic local IP
@bi4smooth @Ricky Okay, I tried with the "DHCP IP Reservation" option. I typed my MAC address and the local IP I wanted. The status column says "Not Active". Eventually the reservation disappears from the list and it's like I've never done anything. My local IP keeps changing...

Problems with dynamic local IP
Recently I've bought a WiFi to Ethernet bridge dongle. I made it to work, connection is good, speed is good, no complaints. However, I now have a problem with my forwarded ports.
I forwarded ports so Deluge would communicate with the GT servers successfully in the past. But now it seems my local IP address is changing every couple of hours, or even less. So my file sharing stops working all the time and I have to go into the router's settings and port forward a new rule with the new local IP. It's a pain, and I'm not around the computer all the time, so it really is a problem.
Do any of you guys know how I can somehow fix this? Like, make my local IP fixed and not dynamic or something?
(Sorry if the terms I used weren't correct)

RE: Request re-seed button not working
@raphjd Okay, this makes sense, sadly. The thing is there's quite new torrents that are dead and you can't ask for reseed. Why would someone upload a torrent and immediately stop sharing? Agh.

RE: Request re-seed button not working
@bi4smooth Unfortunately that doesn't work. I've seen torrents have 0 seeders and 2 leechers, then download the torrent, state that there's 3 leechers and the button remains grayed out

Request re-seed button not working
Maybe it's not an error and it's how it's supposed to work, but I can't click on the request re-seed button in most dead torrents. Some torrents have 0 seeders and I can still click the button. While most torrents with 0 seeders have the request button grayed out... Is this an error or is it just working as intended? If it's the latter, what is happening?
