      I can't tell you how much I hate users who do that! Member download torrents based on what we think is in there! Then why do it to other people? That's why I don't own a tracker, I'd delete all those MF…....

      I'm going to poke a little fun at you. Over the past few weeks you've expressed many reasons why you are no longer involved with running a tracker (in posted responses to other posts). Unless there is one more, say for instance you can no longer get laid because you run a tracker, I think we know now that you no longer run a tracker, for said variety of reasons. But if you do have more, you may want to write a post and list all of them in one place, at one time. Based upon what you've described, I know I will NEVER be running a tracker. Aside from that, I do enjoy reading your responses to people, you clearly have a lot of knowledge, experience, and appreciate being a member of this community - and what you write and share does add value to it. 🙂 So thank you for being here!

      LOLOLOL Shit! If it came down to running a tracker, and getting laid, the tracker can kiss my ass! Getting laid would be 100% priority!!!  :bananadope: But seriously, I only mention that because it is massively hard work, unless you have friends/sizable staff that is committed. And the average person doesn't appreciate that.

      I do thank you for reading my responses. To be honest, sometimes I think I'm on my computers too damn much, which may explain why I have a deeper understanding of certain things more than the average person. I think that's the trade off when you're a full blown pirate. LOLOL

    • RE: How do I limit Utorrent downloads from taking up all my bandwidth

      @ssd:

      Thanks @AnythingOld / @AOS

      I wanted to wait for more replies but none seem forthcoming.

      I've had some success in limiting the download bandwidth hogging in multi-file freeleech torrents - simply by downloading it file by file or GB by GB. It's quite manual, but hey, at least I was able to exert some (limited) control over the traffic.

      Oh, ok… That's good. I really do stress that you try and remember that every tracker is different, and depending on how the owner sets up the tracker, it may or may not be possible to make "improvements." Despite many people think there's a one size fits all. This is one of the reasons I'm not a fan of collecting private trackers.

    • RE: Reseed Etiquette Questions

      @MrMazda:

      Also, take into account the fact that port forwarding is CRITICAL for our tracker. If the port your torrent client uses is not forwarded through your router or VPN to your computer, both in TCP and UDP, you will have a plethora of troubles trying to get any upload traffic, especially if there are other active and connectable peers in the pool.

      I cannot stress the importance of this enough.

      Port forwarding really doesn't have anything to do with any tracker, and it's extremely rare nowadays that someone would have to port forward. Unless you are playing certain high-end internet games that require it.

    • RE: Reseed Etiquette Questions

      @nhuixnhuix:

      First please be kind in your responses even if my questions are dumb. I am mainly asking because my ISP limits my downloads/uploads and I have to manage how many files I download/upload at one time.

      I got several reseed requests in the past couple of days which prompts those questions:

      1. One of those requests was from an older torrent whose file I had on a hard drive. Got the file back on my computer, redowloaded the torrent and started seeding… A day and some later still no activity (read: leecher didn't leech).
        Now first question is: how long should a reseeder ethically wait before giving up on reseeding if the leecher who was interested doesn't actually leech?
        Until they get their file, no matter how long? A day? A week?

      2. Some of the requests came from people with very low ratios. Is it ethical to use that criteria to judge whether responding to the request (again, if I had unlimited options I would respond regardless but since reseeding a file means seeding other current files less because of limited capacity I wonder if I should prioritize)? Can other criteria count (low ratio but long-time contributor, low-ratio and brand new etc)?
        Wondering if it is ethical or it is our duty to respond to all reseed requests to the best of our availability

      Thanks for answering my questions if you can. Hope those had not been litigated before and I somehow missed it in which case I apologize.

      Question #1 Don't stress yourself. Personally, many times I don't realize there have been a request, and by that time the requester has downloaded it. LOL. Anytime you get a request, immediately look at the number of leeches in the torrent post. If it says "0," then don't break your neck, because chances are, either someone already filled the request, or they were getting it for someone else and changed their mind. Once you make an original post, and you've seeded it to the required time, you are under no obligation to keep seeding a request. Only if you want to.

      Question #2 This is a moral thing. To tell you the truth, sometimes I struggle with that issue. The reason being, people come here from all over the world; and in some countries their internet is horrendous! Yet, I tell myself, why the fuck are they even using torrents? Then you realize, if you're poor, there really isn't anything else they can afford. The bottom line is, this is a moral issue I guess. To me, no matter what excuse you make, anyone who signs up for a private tracker KNOWS you need to seed. You may not have a lot of technical aptitude, you should know enough that you need to seed. If that person don't know how to upload, there are mechanisms in place to remedy that, ie donations…. So..... I don't forgive people quickly when I see a fucked up ratio. Sorry.

      @raphjd:

      Trans trenders and liberals are causing this problem.

      They demand trans rights (free sex changes, etc)  while claiming that gender is a social construct.

      I have always supported real trans people, but I have no respect for the freaks that abuse the system, like Jonathan "Jessica" Yaniv.

      And this is exactly why christian fundamentalists, and christian fanatics think transgenderism is a mental illness. They just found a new word to use….. "Gender Dysphoria." I do see this shit as a huge problem for LGBT young, and possibly str8 children in the future. And they will most definitely blame it on LGBT liberals and LGBT democrats.

      @pols1337:

      Most 'normal' torrent sites all have sex / porn categorie

      That's not true.. If I remember correctly, only TPB had porn. It's only recently a lot of the larger, more massive trackers just started allowing porn. And even then, depending on where you go, they forbid gay porn (so far). However, trackers like this one are only a few handful that specialize in non-porn gay content. It's a shame that so many of you can't think beyond porn.

      hahaha you might be gross out by the idea but I've always wondered is there a similar site like ours but only straight content and in torrent form?? I simply cound't find any hahaha!

      Many years ago.. there was a sister site to this which had all straight content.  I think they got rid of it because nobody was interested in seeing naked women.

      There is a lot of truth in that.  In particular, this one straight couple that won a prize for best straight couple on streaming media does shows.. in which by far the most requested activity is for the woman to put on a strap-on and fuck the guy up the ass.

      Hmmm. Wish they got rid of the trans woman uploads here. That to me is the equivalent of str8 porn. I don't care if she has a bigger dick than the guys that's fucking her, that's so weird. Trans women need their own site.. I also hate muscle bound dudes with big pussies…  :afr: They also need their own site.

    • RE: Torrents getting removed for copyright infringement

      @lololulu19:

      Of course some torrents must be removed for various legitimate reasons.

      The problem is, there used to be a lot of torrents removed for the wrong reasons.
      It uses to be that 100% of my posts got removed for copyright infringement by someone other than the copyright holder complaining.
      This is known to happen, because one of the moderators made a video of HIMSELF and posted it, and THAT video got taken down for copyright infringement.

      It's very rare that I see my posts being taken down anymore - so I guess the problem is more or less solved.

      I also seldom see the problem where someone intentionally alters the binary content of a file just to make it "different".  I assume the person who was doing that got booted from the site.

      Oh, I see. Yeah, you have a lot of users doing dumb shit. But, false copyright claims should not happen, because they're supposed to provide their copyright registration number, blah blah blah. Unless the owner is just deleting them simply because someone cries. It's the most annoying thing on gay private trackers. I think it's maybe because we are smaller, and the site owners don't want any trouble, so they just delete it as quickly as they can.

    • RE: How do I limit Utorrent downloads from taking up all my bandwidth

      @ssd:

      Hi everyone. I want to know how I can stop / limit uTorrent from a single download hijacking all my bandwidth and affecting my other upload speeds. See attached pic.

      It happens frequently on Freeleech torrents with many seeders. From an average 10 MB/s upload, that single FL download will get me a 10+ MB/s download and upload speeds drop to 500-1000 kB/s.
      This is quite annoying because I would prefer that the upload traffic on my other torrents not be affected by the download.

      I have tried the following, but they seem to have no effect:

      • specifying limits in the global settings and on the specific torrent itself (like limit download to 300 kB/s)
      • changing the bandwidth allocation on the downloading torrent to LOW.
      • Changing the Queueing option: [CHECKED] "Seeding tasks have higher priority than downloading tasks".

      Thanks in advance for any advice.

      You're gonna read many opinions about this.. I'll just keep it simple by saying, I am totally against messing with settings, as they can inadvertently make your shit even slower. When you're downloading a torrent, a lot of complected shit is happening in the back ground, and tweaking shit isn't always gonna do it. That shit may have worked back in the day when we were using dial up, but today most of that shit is not applicable. You can open up some available slots, that may help. But you may not have the bandwidth to handle all of the torrents, and you my have to stop a few. If you have a lot of torrents seeded from one tracker, that tracker could be limiting your bandwidth, if that's the case, their isn't really anything you can do about that, as everything is automated.

      Portland OR banned urinals in city owned buildings, even if the building are leased to private companies.

      Oddly, bathrooms will still be gendered, except disabled toilets.  So no change there.

      So much for saving water, as toilets use far more water than urinals.  :blink:

      That's nothing.. Here in America, str8 still haven't got over the genderneutral bathroom law. They know they can't do anything about it, but they find ways to holla and bitch about it. We are a "fair share" site, aka ratios matter.

      Being "fair share" doesn't prevent anyone from UPLOADING, ever.

      We only prevent downloading for poor ratios, but if you (generic) ask for help we will do what we can as long as we see you are trying and not rude.

    • RE: Torrents getting removed for copyright infringement

      @HorseHungNJ:

      Can someone please explain to me this conundrum?

      I understand and respect the whole copyright infringement thing; but what I do NOT understand is how individual files from such a company who has a beef with that can be uploaded and stay on here, while collections from that company CANNOT?

      I prefer to upload collections and catalog - from dozens to a couple hundred files in one shot.

      But the last one I just posted (Eric Videos) - got flagged and yanked after about 4 days.  It was a massive 40 GB (209 files) as I was trying to build up my ratio.  Now ordinarily I wouldn't care, but virtually EVERY SCENE I had in this torrent came from this very site.  I just put more together in one torrent.

      Is there such a problem with these infringements based on SIZE/QUANTITY rather than actual copyright stuff?

      I.E. If a company sees their entire catalog posted in one shot, they'll bitch and moan, but if they only see one-to-a-handful, they'll look the other way?

      Any info would be helpful, thanks!

      First, we have to stop this childish mentality, as if the copyright holder is wrong for having their investments removed from a tracker. It's their right, not ours. Second, unless you have super fast speed and a seedbox, It's not smart in my opinion to upload a torrent that large for a host of reasons. Getting torrents taken down is a part of torrent life. You'll have to get over that.

      Secondly, about 80% of infringements are found via automation. They look for names, hashes, footprints, etc. size and quality are often irrelevant.

      @bearbearbear:

      A few videos from a studio or featuring one model made available for free can serve as advertising and entice viewers to want more and some people will be willing to pay for watching them.  However, a large collection makes paying for videos from a studio or featuring that model unnecessary.  A collection is like giving the store away instead of free samples.  That's my best guess as to why that happens.

      It may also be that they are only asking for newer videos to be taken down or perhaps a particular model asks for videos he or she is featured in to be taken down.  If a collection contains just one of those videos under scrutiny, the whole collection will be taken down.  The individual videos that are not taken down may be older or not feature that particular model.

      Again, irrelevant.

      @raphjd:

      As the OP has stated, it's not the begging in the comments that is at issue here.

      The issue is that the person in question is trying to mislead everyone into believing that we would ban him from uploading if he has a bad ratio.  We never, ever do that.  You can always upload, regardless of ratio.

      So, are you saying this is a "ratioless" tracker? I do see that as an issue though. Regardless of the reason, it boils donwn to that individual not wanting to seed (I assume). And if that's the case, he aught not use torrents anymore, as seeding is essential.

      @bearbearbear:

      @rewolve:

      Can unprotected oral sex transmit HIV? Some sources say that it is not safe, and others say that the risk is only theoretical…

      No reliable source says that unprotected oral sex is safe.  That was true even before HIV.  It is true even if you don't have any sores anywhere on your body.

      Some of the diseases that are transmitted through unprotected oral sex are HIV, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, HPV, and viral hepatitis.  HPV causes warts or cancer.

      Oral herpes simplex (cold sores, fever blisters) and genital herpes simplex are very common;  the majority of people in the world have one or the other.  The virus can be transmitted even if there are no visible sores and can infect the lips, mouth, penis, anus, etc.

      Oral transmission of HIV is low risk but it is not no risk.  It can happen even without visible sores or wounds.

      If you are having any kind of unprotected sex, consider using PrEP.

      http://www.whatisprep.org/

      To add what @BearBearBear said…... I think the GMHC and the CDC has done such a good job pushing A.I.D.S. and H.I.V. awareness, that the communities has forgotten about all the other deadly diseases besides A.I.D.S. Look, I understand that sex feel exponentially better condomless. However, there are some extremely nasty mutherfuckes out here, mutherfuckers that have things they often keep in secret, or don't even know they have because they're doin' shit on the downlow. You have to put that condom on until you feel you fully know your partner (and sometimes not even then). This is not something you can simple put in the category of "he think too much." If you don't put that shit on, you may find yourself waking up to not having any lips; or contracting something that will be there for the rest of your life (way after you've left that "hot stud"). Kapeesh?
