I must pay now Usd 3750 or they will bring me to court in America. I live in Europe.
Only one time a few years ago I downloaded a movie from this studio via your site.
How serious is this and can you give me advice. Please help me.
Advice is, you should have gotten a VPN. I know you know what it is. Don't cry now that you got a DMCA letter.
Why don't your friend just download a newly freeleech torrent with a bigger file and lots of leechers much easier to recoup the ratio they needed.

First off, I highly suggest you do more reading on torrents, it's really important since mistakes can get you into all kinds of trouble. Yes, you can give your friend the files, both the raw and the torrent file, so that he has something to start the initiation seed. But, honestly, he should be finding his own stuff to upload. It will be a burden if they constantly do this.
I had a similar experience in a previous relationships. One guy said that he didn't think porn should be used in a healthy relationship, so I threw all mine out only to find he had an extensive collection hidden away on his PC.
In another relationship I admitted to watching porn and was scolded for it, as the ex at the time believed it was wrong for me to even look at someone else, and made me feel guilty, so i ended up deleting 2TB of porn to keep him happy, but as it turned out he too watched porn secretly behind my back.
You know, in reference to your last two ex's….. While I did do it once while I was with my ex, overall, the need for porn was almost non-existent. Why? Because the love I had for that person was so very strong, and I was very satisfied with him because I loved him. I don't know, I really think it depends on the relationship, and the relationship's ground rules. Personally, I did it once, and I had an overwhelming feeling of guilt, as he pointed out he new that I did. There are a few things I would recommend for your situation.
- I strongly recommend that you get a VPN service such as PrivateVPN.
This will not only keep your identity away from copyright trolls, but it will also add a layer of protection to connections coming from your computer, to such a point where even your ISP cannot see what you are doing online. Because of this, you can bypass the throttling mechanisms that your particular ISP puts into place. Most importantly, it will help you avoid getting notices from copyright trolls, which can become rather costly.

Ever since I created my account here, I was under the impression (at least from the rules) that I absolutely should not use a VPN to browse the website, as doing so would make it appear as though I'm sharing my account (due to VPNs recycling IP addresses), which would be grounds for an immediate ban. I still use a VPN for the actual torrenting side of things, though, and that's been perfectly fine for me. But sometimes I might still have a tab for this site open as I connect my VPN, which is enough to give me a mini heart attack as I frantically close the tab, in fear that my browser will send the site a request from the VPN's shared IP address.
So am I right about that? I'm not sure how strict the IP rule is, or if the moderation team has made some extra considerations for VPNs after I joined that I may not have heard of.
Yeah, I can see the confusion, especially if you're brand new to torrent community. The problem isn't the VPN (per say); the real issue are people using mechanisms to trip the ratio system, allowing them to download an infinite amount of files while having I high ratio. This is not the typical behavior of a VPN, so don't worry about it. On really old & unsofisticated tracking systems, we had to tell the owners when we had VPNs as they only were designed for one IP at a time. Now things have changed. So long as you're logged in before you download, you're IPs will be associated.

So I have been a member since 2007, and use the site on occasion. And since 2007 access to porn has changed. Let's face it is probably easier to stream on your phone now than wait to download a torrent. Instead of burning files onto DVDs I now have a 1TB external drive…. But it's good to have some hard files for a playlist if your having a friend(s) over because streaming is a pain in the butt with ads, searching for videos, they don't stream nicely in a large format consecutively... I could go on and on.
I have always kept my seed bonus pretty good... Until I downloaded a couple huge files. Now I have to seed more. It was a lot easier to seed in 2007 too because there was more people it seemed or maybe the internet companies didn't throttle you as much like they do now. So I tried going through my collection to try uploading stuff I could not find only to start seeing my files flagged as duplicates. Mistake number 1: the search results are crazy and started using the browser find feature... that Helped. Mistake number 2: not searching for Dead Files... ok great a file is dead, but who is going to pick that file I can now bring to life.... NO ONE because when I get on here to look at what to download I look at what's new; what's being seeded so I know I can get it in a reasonable about of time, and I am sure that's what most people do here. Unless you are looking for something specific.
Now through uploading a torrent, and yes it may have been a duplicate because I could not find it, a lot of people downloaded it who otherwise would not have because the torrent was brought to the top of the search results again. If it has been buried at the end of the search result with 0 or 1 seeder. or it's dead and no one is looking at it why is it still around? Why is it being kept around for years in the search results by the off chance someone uploads a torrent thinking it's new and then getting flagged for 50 bonus points and killing my chance to seed a file because I breathed new life into it. SO there the original torrent sits with no action and the new one uploaded gets killed for being active.
I am finding it frustrating to upload New Items only to be flagged because I could not find them in the first place. If could not find the original, who is going to find it to download it so I can seed it?
You need to breath new life into system or downloading torrents themselves are probably going to die. Stopped using torrents for music because an apple subscription is easier and the cost of what used to be 1 cd a month. I can download what I want when I want. Stopped using torrents for movies because I can watch what I want to on netflix, hulu, and youtube. Lots of different porn sites to choose from, been on them all but still the hard file in some cases are beneficial, that's why I started coming back.
So I'll do what I can to get my seed ratio back up but at this point I'm not sure it's even worth it.

Ahhh….. What you have learned is one of my biggest frustrations of many private trackers! Personally, I have always been a proponent of purging content. My opinion, any torrent that has been dead for longer than six months should be removed. I think it's necessary so that content is refreshed. Especially since members come and go. But unfortunately, I think many trackers use dead torrents by adding them to their total content, in order to attract sign ups. It's very deceiving.
You're other point about streaming...... Well.... That depends.... Everyone has different levels of understanding with technology. Sometimes it may also have to do with your digital lifestyle as well. Torrent downloads are still very much alive, but if you only deal with a few trackers, it easy to assume people almost don't use torrents anymore (relatively speaking). There are a lot of people who are just technologically challenged, be it by knowledge, or the financial means to buy the tools needed to enjoy and maximize their torrent experience.

I disagree, because as grown adults, we should understand what context is. Second, anyone who understands at least half of what I said, would know I'm speaking the truth. And I will not apologize to anyone who is offended by truth. Torrenting can be serious business, and I'm soooo tired of people only focusing on downloading porn to jerk off too, and not bothering to research in detail on how to protect one's self, or how not to get abused by lairs on torrent sites. While I find the begging annoying as well, if you read my very original post, you will see my concern was about what seemed to be misinformation. When I tried to tell the uploader what he was saying in the upload comments could be misinterpreted, he replied to me not to have so much drama, which I interpreted as a flippant in your face response to close down the conversation. I reported it to the mods to ask what their thoughts were on it, and they took care of it, with part of the solution being to suggest Freeleach to the person. Finally, while I 100% agree that the other issues (bad uploads, miscategorization, etc) exist so the issue I raised isn't a valid issue is not a valid argument and really belongs in another thread.I like the idea of updating the site rules to eliminate begging complaints - though I think it would be a nightmare to police - but I really dislike the implication that someone can't UPLOAD without points. That is the core of the misinformation I've reported.
PS: Regarding the other issues mentioned (miscategorizing, etc), I use the "report" feature, and figure if people keep up on it, the cheaters won't get their torrents to stay for long. That process works fine in my opinion.

Make no mistake, it IS a valid complaint. And I really do hope that members are not blonde enough to give away points to people like these. Like any other beggar out in the streets, they will keep asking, and asking. This is one of the reasons I don't run a tracker no more. I definitely download both. This site is porn specific so I download more porn from here than tv shows and movies. There's also a lot more porn available than there are movies or tv shows.
I'm also picky about the things I like in both porn and non-porn entertainment. I love shows like Schitt's Creek, Teen Wolf, Donald Strachey mysteries, and Sense8. Call Me by Your Name was like watching beautiful paint dry.

DOWNLOADED COPYRIGHT CONTENT BUST THREE
One day after some downloading, the phone rings, and it's a woman from my small town, piddly little cable company / ISP, and she informs me, that "someone at your location, illegally downloaded copyrighted media content in the past 24 hours. Regrettably, I asked her what specifically was the content. Then I blacked out for a bit and suddenly snapped to when she was saying "blah, blah, blah, so in so BONUS CUM SCENES video." I was horrified, and quickly made up something about the neighbors hacking our wi-fi then hung up after promising it won't happen again. Moments later I hired FruitVPN, and ever since I've been routing all my torrent downloading traffic to server's in Oslo, Norway (you can pick anywhere). The service works so well that when I was experiencing some connection issues, I called the ISP for tech support, and this time after putting me on hold to check my equipment, she came back and said "we don't know why, but for some reason, your cable modem is pinging in from somewhere in Norway. She reset the connection and apologized for the obvious technical error. I've been downloading freely ever since, but I'll never forget the horror of her totally busting me for downloading porn in the first place. Thank God she didn't dispatch the repair technician to my secret place in Norway.

This continues to be a long standing debate. This is due to sooooo many variety of reasons. Unfortunately, the only way to really combat this, is to find a specialty tracker for HD. But as far as I know, there isn't any specifically for LGBT people. Also keep in mind, people are ripping from the web more and more, so, the HD porn you do find, will probably be 720p (the majority). Some of the reasons for those abominable uploads are, lack of knowledge on how to rip a proper movie; a single BluRay movie that has been RIP'd so many times that it's quality have been decimated; people who believe they know WTF their doing and they don't; many people still have much older TVs and don't see the quality or benefit of a full 1080p file; some people come from countries where their internet is horrific.
But, man…. Sometimes I want to bunch someone in the face, for trying to pass a 105MB movie, with True DD 7.1, 1080p as "HD." AND they really don't understand why people like us get infuriated! It's fucking annoying that we are now in the age of 4K movies, and people are bitching over the size of 720p files. Technology shouldn't go backwards, because individuals are not willing to live in the 21st century. Shit, you'd be surprised how many people don't even know how to do something as simple as update their codecs.

A lot of it is done by the companies. Non-English titles get renamed in some very strange ways. ie <<mein schweigertochter="" ist="" ein="" mann="">> which translates as "My Daughter-in-law is a Man" was renamed "All You Need is Love." Les Minets Sauvage by Cadinot was sold in English as Tough and Tender rather than "The Wild Twinks".
One English title got changed because of a pedophile panic: "Brian's Boys" became "Brian's Men".
The last time I tried uploading a movie I checked for the title and the actors through the site. I got dinged since it had been uploaded under another name with none of the actors listed. That will be the last time I try uploading a movie.</mein>

Also, this is why we should be careful of what we read about trackers from the outside. Many of these MF want to badmouth other trackers, but in reality, they're bad members who are burnt, because they where not allowed to do what they like.
