Can someone please explain to me this conundrum?

I understand and respect the whole copyright infringement thing; but what I do NOT understand is how individual files from such a company who has a beef with that can be uploaded and stay on here, while collections from that company CANNOT?

I prefer to upload collections and catalog - from dozens to a couple hundred files in one shot.

But the last one I just posted (Eric Videos) - got flagged and yanked after about 4 days.  It was a massive 40 GB (209 files) as I was trying to build up my ratio.  Now ordinarily I wouldn't care, but virtually EVERY SCENE I had in this torrent came from this very site.  I just put more together in one torrent.

Is there such a problem with these infringements based on SIZE/QUANTITY rather than actual copyright stuff?

I.E. If a company sees their entire catalog posted in one shot, they'll bitch and moan, but if they only see one-to-a-handful, they'll look the other way?

Any info would be helpful, thanks!

It's up to the companies what they want us to remove.

I agree about collections.  I love them and prefer them over single files.

In the Theme Movies section I use to upload collections from different studios or directors, but I received once or twice a message "your torrents is deleted because of DMCA" and I never knew what film is what cause the situation. I never reupload the same content, though.

          :cry2:

A few videos from a studio or featuring one model made available for free can serve as advertising and entice viewers to want more and some people will be willing to pay for watching them.  However, a large collection makes paying for videos from a studio or featuring that model unnecessary.  A collection is like giving the store away instead of free samples.  That's my best guess as to why that happens.

It may also be that they are only asking for newer videos to be taken down or perhaps a particular model asks for videos he or she is featured in to be taken down.  If a collection contains just one of those videos under scrutiny, the whole collection will be taken down.  The individual videos that are not taken down may be older or not feature that particular model.

First, we have to stop this childish mentality, as if the copyright holder is wrong for having their investments removed from a tracker. It's their right, not ours. Second, unless you have super fast speed and a seedbox, It's not smart in my opinion to upload a torrent that large for a host of reasons. Getting torrents taken down is a part of torrent life. You'll have to get over that.

Secondly, about 80% of infringements are found via automation. They look for names, hashes, footprints, etc. size and quality are often irrelevant.

              Again, irrelevant.

Of course some torrents must be removed for various legitimate reasons.

The problem is, there used to be a lot of torrents removed for the wrong reasons.
It uses to be that 100% of my posts got removed for copyright infringement by someone other than the copyright holder complaining.
This is known to happen, because one of the moderators made a video of HIMSELF and posted it, and THAT video got taken down for copyright infringement.

It's very rare that I see my posts being taken down anymore - so I guess the problem is more or less solved.

I also seldom see the problem where someone intentionally alters the binary content of a file just to make it "different".  I assume the person who was doing that got booted from the site.

Oh, I see. Yeah, you have a lot of users doing dumb shit. But, false copyright claims should not happen, because they're supposed to provide their copyright registration number, blah blah blah. Unless the owner is just deleting them simply because someone cries. It's the most annoying thing on gay private trackers. I think it's maybe because we are smaller, and the site owners don't want any trouble, so they just delete it as quickly as they can.
