Congratulations to Canadian Eric Radford for becoming the first out gay athlete to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics. Radford and his partner, Meagan Duhamel, picked up the gold in the team figure skating event as they performed to Adele’s “Hometown Glory.”
American out figure skater Adam Rippon scored in third place in the men’s freestyle part of the team figure skating event this weekend, and the U.S. team took home the bronze medal overall.
Radford and Rippon celebrated together after their Olympic wins in a photo Radford posted to social media.
Both Radford and Rippon will compete again this year and have the chance to bring home another medal.

The police just pulled me over, he came up to my window and said, “papers?”
I said, “ Scissors, I win” and drove off.
I think he wants a re-match he’s been chasing me for 45 minutes.

RE: The guide to your straight crush: Is he gay?
There is a guy that works at the Subway across the street from my workplace, I go there every Saturday to buy cookies, he always seems to get a great mood when I come in(been going in there for about 5-6 months), the other day he asked me if I wanted to sit down with him while I eat my cookies(I said no since my brake is only about 10 mins and if things go a bit differently than I think then it will end up being a 30 minute brake). What are your thoughts on that?
I wouldn't look for anything more than friendship tbh. Start with a friendship, and see how he feels about gay guys.

Race Preferences in Dating
If you still don’t understand why your “preferences” are racist, this video might help explain
In a new episode of MTV Decoded, Dylan Marron tackles an ongoing problem in the gay community: racism. Particularly, the sexual racism found on dating apps.
“When gay men are confronted with their racist language, many try to explain it away as ‘a preference.’” Marron says. “I mean, they can’t help it, it’s just how they feel. As if they were captive to some mystical, romantic force that naturally discriminates against people of color.”
Sound familiar?
Before you get all defensive, why not hear what Marron has to say?
He continues:
This is where structural racism comes into play. Because preferences are actually shaped by learned values. When you’re judging a person based solely on their racial background, you’re acting on generalizations you’ve learned to associate with that person’s appearance or heritage. You can’t say it’s their personality because you shut them down before you even got to know them.

A man wakes up after a heavy night of drinking to his wife happily cooking break
Confused, he approaches his daughter for an explanation of last night when he arrived home.
"You kicked in the door when you couldn't get your key in the lock, fell through the table and broke it, and pissed your pants," says the daughter.
"Jesus! So then why the hell is your mother in such a good mood?"
"When Mom tried to take your pants off to wash them, you slapped her hand away and said, 'Get your hands off me! I'm married!'"

RE: To shave or not to shave pubic hair?
An electric razor is great, it shaves but not clean shaven level so there is a little layer of hair there
Also, an electric razor means less "cuts" because the good brands tend to avoid the harmful side-effects of a handheld razor.

RE: Aggressiveness in a relationship
i think you should read about gaslighting. it seems like you are making parallells between a random encounter to what used to be your normal situation.
100%. This was my initial thought too.

UK man who rammed van into mosque sentenced to life
A British court has sentenced the man who carried out a deadly vehicle ramming attack near a mosque in London last year to life in prison.
In June, Darren Osborne killed one worshipper and wounded several others in the Finsbury Park area of North London while the area was busy with worshippers leaving late evening prayers during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
On Friday, a judge sentenced Osborne to a minimum 43-year prison term after he was found guilty of murder and attempted murder the previous day.
During the trial, jurors heard how Osborne had intended to attack a march celebrating "Jerusalem Day" earlier on June 18 but was unable to.
The 48-year-old from the Welsh city of Cardiff then drove around the English capital until he settled on the target in Finsbury Park just before midnight.
A group of worshippers had gathered around 51-year-old grandfather Makram Ali, who had collapsed, when Osborne drove his vehicle into the group, killing Ali.
Witnesses told the court that Osborne shouted: "I've done my job," before being caught and restrained by passersby while trying to escape.
In court, he had attempted to defend himself against the charges of murder and attempted murder by claiming that an accomplice named Dave had taken his place in the driver's seat during the attack.
However, he was unable to provide an explanation as to why CCTV footage showed only one person in the car.
Sue Hemming from the British Crown Prosecution Service said Osborne was motivated by his "hatred of Muslims".
"He later invented an unconvincing story to counter the overwhelming weight of evidence, but the jury has convicted him," she said.
"We have been clear throughout that this was a terrorist attack, and he must now face the consequences of his actions."

RE: Oxford University gives women more time to pass exams
To be fair, the article's title is misleading: all students in the Mathematics class are given the extra time, not just the women. The time was added because studies said that women struggle with exam stress, but both male and female students were made beneficiaries of the extra time. The guys benefitted from this increased time too. Who doesn't like extra time?

$4 million listing fails to mention home’s best feature: The gay sex dungeon
London real estate is not for the faint of heart.
Gay sex dungeons are also dangerous territory for the faint of heart, but for much less figurative reasons.
But we’re loving this combination of the two: A tasteful London townhouse has just hit the market for £3 million ($4.27 million), and it has all the offerings you’d expect with a vertigo-inducing price tag.
The seller boasts of charming brickwork and classic architectural features.
“This charming and expansive five bedroom Georgian house,” the listing reads, “is arranged over four commanding floors and features wonderful period features paired with modern luxuries and boasts a verdant private garden.”
And judging by these photos, the property delivers on the strong adjective.
But the real estate company fails to mention one especially “commanding” feature that’s included in the purchase: a fully-operational sex dungeon.
As Secret London uncovered, the seller is ‘Unkut Kurt,’ owner of gay London kink club The Hoist, and he’s turned the basement of the lovely home into quite the conversation piece.

RE: Heartstone
This is Blizzard's game, right? Doesn't it cost a lot of money to buy the decks and to build a feasible card arrangement? I know that most of the cards are WoW-themed or something.

RE: What constitutes or forms an abusive relationship?
Emotional abuse can be just as bad as physical abuse: a big tell-tale sign is when the partner gets jealous and starts monopolising your time, forbidding you to see your friends and your loved ones, thereby forcing you to rely on the partner as your only source of emotional comfort. Gaslighting, constant lying, guilt-tripping, and tearing you down with insults also contribute to the problem.
