Christianity has changed many times over 2000 years.
At times it has been one of the most depraved religions and at others, it has been the most loving and kind. Religions are made up of its followers and how they want to believe.
Will religion decline in The United States? Not really. As people grow into old age, many see the inevitable end creeping up and seek some sort of comforting resolve to it. Religions play a big part in this. America's huge and growing elderly population will keep religions going.

RE: Is Being Gay a Choice?
The ACT of being gay (or straight) is a choice. I can choose to be intimate with a women, but that doesn't truly make me straight. Likewise, a straight guy could choose to have sex with another guy, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's gay.
A lot of people think it's a choice because they are equating "being gay" to having sex and/or seeking romantic relationships with someone else of the same sex. In most cases, actions ARE choices… so people who think one-dimensional and only believe being gay is strictly an act (having sex) will certainly think that it's a choice to be gay. That's where the confusion comes in to play.
However, the mere presence of having same-sex or opposite-sex sexual attraction is NOT a choice. I am strongly attracted to the male physique and get aroused by their bodies, but I didn't choose that. Straight men are attracted to women's bodies (boobs, vaginas, their curves, etc.), and they certainly didn't "choose" that attraction. Neither of those are choices.
So, depending on how you define being gay or straight, it could be choice and it could not be a choice.
An excellent summarization.

RE: Do childless people ever regret not having children..?
Not from what I have seen. But it all depends on who they are around.
-
RE: Is possible to choose the sex of a child if done via surrogacy?
In the US its legal, but just one of those things that some clinics don't do.

RE: Annoying Ass family members
I dislike 90% of my relatives and I learned a long time ago that I don't have to put up with any of them if I don't want to. Even my brothers are in that group. I have one brother that is a pathological liar. Never has been able to tell the truth about anything and is only interested in talking about himself and what he has. During my mom's bout with pancreatic cancer, I tried to be as nice as I could to him. But after she died I heard through the grapevine that he had gone around to relatives asking for money to help pay for her funeral. OH MY GOD! I was so embarrassed. When I confronted him, he gave some excuse about he thought I might have needed the money but since I didn't ask, he went and bought a truck. We haven't spoken since.

RE: Are you the only gay person in your family?
There are 2 openly gay guys and one girl in my family. But lots and lots of bisexual and closeted cases on both my mom's side and my dad's side.
It's mostly because of religion and work, which for most of them, they are preachers.
I should know, I have had sex with pretty much all the guys in my family. Most of my male cousins on both sides and a few of my nephews.
It does make reunions and funerals awkward. -
Cost effective ways to get a surrogate.
I have had 4 experiences so far. 2 by surrogates and 2 by finding a willing female who wanted to have a baby.
The surrogates are a real nerve wrecking process. The cheapest is in Asian and South American countries. But in America, one will cost you anywhere from 50K to 150K depending on her pedigree. That's not including room and board and all her expenses for 9 months.
Here in America, there is also this thing going around where you can trade with a female of another country. You get her citizenship and she will have your child. We have been thinking about it and are looking into a young lady from Guatemala. Of course, you have to marry but it's only to get the citizenship. We get a kid and she becomes an American and can marry her love and have him become an American. -
RE: Too much importance is attached to a meaningless ceremony
SOME people put a lot of meaning into the ceremonies.
But many more don't. Most marriages in the United States are done quick and easy with just a signature and a witness. Bam boom and your married.
The wedding stuff is for friends and family who want to attend. -
RE: Do you think that being cut or uncut affects the sexual performance?
True. I am American but I am uncut and I made sure my sons were uncut also.
I always thought the curvature of a dick came from how the guy masturbated.

RE: Are Straight-Identifying Men in North Texas Meeting Up for 'Bud Sex'?
As someone who was raised in Texas I think the study is off a bit. Lots of guys in Texas have a Bud.
Its kind of like this.
although many are homophobic most of Texas really isn't homophobic as the are effemaphobic. ( I made that up years ago) Even much of the gay population is kind of effemaphobic. Meaning they like guys and men to be guys and men. Not guy's acting like girls.
If you ask a lot of people in Texas what their idea of a gay person is? They will straight up tell you that its someone who wants to be a girl.
Sooooo, if you don't act like a queen or have an effeminate voice. You're cool.
As for the sex thing. That goes like this. As long as you don't have sex with a gay guy (effeminate) you are not gay in any way. You're just getting your rocks off with a bud.
I actually went on a cattle drive in west Texas when I was a teen and learned all about cowboys. They were amazed I was gay and couldn't figure it out regardless of how you tried to describe what gay is. Mainly because of how gays were portrayed on Tv and the media back then(70's and 80's). Nobody on the team messed with me in the slightest. I won the calf hearding game, the drinking games and just about any of the other games we played including beating everyone at arm wrestling.
The calf herding was the clincher for me. Having never played the game I didn't know the rules. but what you were supposed to do was go into the herd and either rope or cokes a calf back to the little square box that was marked on the ground. Since I was the newbie they let me go first. I went into the herd and come walking out with a calf around my neck like a scarf. Brought it over and laid it on the ground. Then walked back into the heard and grabed another, through it over my shoulders and come walking back. Did it 4 times in about 20 minutes. Then they told me to just quit and I had won. They were all laughing hysterically at me and the boss said. I have never seen anyone just go into the herd and pickup cows and carry them back. Besides, no one else here could do it more than a couple of times at best.
It was a great time and I met my first love from it.
He was the boss's son.Saw the same kind of behaviors in the middle east. That as long as you don't say its gay, then there's nothing wrong with it. OH YEA. NO KISSING BETWEEN GUYS!!! That is just too gay. You can fuck and suck all you want but to Kiss? thats just wrong.
Large portions of the world are just so weird.

RE: How to do butt thing?
Most definitely clean out the poop shoot beforehand. The day before, you may want to limit food intake. It will help.
To get the star thingy going is pretty easy. Put a mirror on the floor and squat over it. Then push like you are trying to shit. (make sure your not packing). Then suck it back in. Repeat and pretty soon you will have a little star popping out and smirking at you.
But you will also have it after you have anal too. Just from the friction on the lips of your ass. -
RE: The death of Christianity in the U.S. Has it really died?
Like most things , religion has become a big business. That's what is killing Christianity in America.
Most people don't realize it but in America, you can start your very own church from anything with any kind of idea you want. Not only do you become tax exempt but all your property becomes tax exempt also. Some of the largest holders of retail space in America are owned by church companies.

RE: Does college lead students away from religion?
Higher education isn't what does it. It's being exposed to so many other kinds of cultures and people.
When the world becomes very open and you get to see all kinds of people and their faiths and ideas. That is when most religions get upset and blame higher education. No religion on earth likes to have their doctrine questioned. Because most can't answer the questions.
America is unique in the world because we have so many different types of cultures and people. One of the main reasons we haven't exploded and destroyed ourselves is to have some degree of accommodation for other ideas and ways. In countries that have strict religious laws, the opposite is true. They every so often have violent and deadly uprisings to correct things in their societies. Many times leading to genocidal battles with other people who don't believe like them. -
RE: Is Being Gay a Choice?
Homosexuality has been documented in practically ever species of animal on the planet. From fishes to humans and everything in between.
Not just homosexual behavior's like two male dogs fucking. Thats just natural for all animals but when a male dog has no desire to fuck a female dog thats in heat and wants to fuck a male dog that gets excited. Thats pure 100% homosexuality.
It appears more in larger animal populations than it does in smaller and shrinking populations of animals. The larger the population of animals gets, the higher the percentage of that population is born gay. Researchers have called it mother natures own form of birth control.
Is there a gay gene? Not too sure on that, researchers havent been able to find one, but they have found a series of genes that can be manipulted to creat a gay offspring. For years breders kept manipulating the DNA of different cattle breeds to make super animals. selling the modified dna sperm to ranchs and breeders all over the world. But there was just one very big problem for the labs. A extrodinarly large number of the animals born from the manipulated DNA were homosexual. Not good since you just paid 100,000 dollars for a vial of sperm and wanted to breed a super bull to make your heard shine and all he wants to do is dominate and fuck all the other bulls in the herd.
As the research went on, they found that even just a simple change , such as changing an animals eye color could produce the gay effect. It was backed up by manipulation experiments on all kinds of species from dragonflies to apes. So, is it a choice?
It can be in some people. But in most, science is pointing to NO . Its not a choice. -
RE: Are religious people more moral?
Most everyone in both my mom's side of the family and my dad's side are into the business of religion. I can definitely say NO they are not more moral. Some followers try to be, but the heads of churches are usually the most corrupt and immoral people you could ever meet.
I think all people try to be moral to some degree based on their own or societies value system.
Someone from the middle east would be highly immoral if they were put into the USA. Same goes in reverse. -
RE: Is being a gay person really special? I don’t think so.
My guess is you are closeted and not open to hardly anyone. Will never experience the freedom to marry who you choose and live the way you want. Might even adhere to some religious doctrine that sees's your behavior as abnormal and possibly worthy of a death penalty.
All people should be able to live their life as they see fit and that life should not be excluded from anything by laws from bigoted and hateful people based on some religious text that you don't adhere to.
So are gay people special? No, just different. -
RE: Is it healthy to drink milk as adults?
It all depends on where you live.
Most countries sell homogenized and pasteurized milk.
Homogenization is to make the milk consistent each time you go and buy some. Pasteurization is done to kill all microbial life in the milk.
But both are not natural and actually make milk very bad for you. To be honest, its not even milk after they do all that to it.
Homogenization breaks down the fat molecules into very tiny molecules with unnatural properties. The human body really doesn't know what to do with it, so most of it gets tossed out with the trash but much of the fat content gets turned into fat stores for the body and then turned into glucose when needed. But because the fat molecules are so odd, the body really does have a hard time using it.
Pasteurization kills everything in the milk. But one of the greatest benefits of milk is the bacteria ( Good bacteria). Real milk has all the bacteria the body needs to be able to handle milk. When that was removed, that's when people started getting allergies to milk. The milk still had lactose but lacked the lactose bacteria to digest it properly.
So, to answer your question. If you can get real raw milk either from a cow or goat? Then its great for the human body. But if all you can get is store bought sugar filled poison, stay away. Nut milk is better. Almond or soy. But Testes does it for me. :cool2:PS: Don't beleive all the bullshit about tuberculosis and disease from raw milk. As long as you are getting nice milk from healthy cows being grass feed, its good to go.
Once you actually get the real deal straight from a cow. The stuff in the stores will taste like watered down paint.
Real milk is creamy, thick and full of vitamins and minerals that are easily digestible.
