@hubrys seems that you're right about this.

That's a cop out avoiding the issues.Apparently you have nothing to back up some of your deeply held views, ones for which I can find no evidence. Not sure why you can't find any either, but that's what happened here.
There are similar unproven deeply held liberal views, of course. I haven't disputed that.
You also have lots of generalizations about liberals. Some of them I agree with (and I've said that about a few things in this thread), and I'm open to believing more of them, but you've given me no leads on those.
You've also given me no examples of conservatives condemning ignorance and nonsense in their own party. I'm sure that happens here and there, but I don't see anything as widespread as you imply.
I cite examples of legitimate candidates who have recently won primary elections repeating the big lie and even wasting taxpayers money by suing government agencies over made-up issues with the 2020 elections in Arizona, claims that Cyber Ninjas, hired by the Republican super-majority state senate, could not substantiate. That little stunt cost the taxpayers of the state of Arizona and Maricopa County 10s of millions of dollars, and by the way, broke the necessary security protocols on the voting machines, requiring replacement and/or expensive recertification, also paid for by taxpayers.
All that government waste is the kind of thing conservatives I grew up with and around normally seeth and rave over, but that didn't happen in this case. Not sure why, but there's certainly no condemning of nonsense in this case.
And Hillary, who hasn't run for anything in almost 6 years, is somehow brought up in this context. Why not bring up the problems with her private mail server, where conservatives do have a point when they say national security was at risk of (or maybe was) endangered?
You say liberals spent Trumps entire presidency trying to find a link to Russia. They sure did. Conservatives spent a large part of Hillary's term as Secretary of State investigating Benghazi. There were some issues uncovered by both, but no hugely damaging bombshells. They were both mostly politically motivated wastes of time.
I could go on.
What I was actually hoping was to learn something I didn't know, or gain a better understanding of conservative thought. That's not what happened here, unfortunately.

@raphjd
well, this was fun for a while, but now you just sound like the ranting media idiots, so I guess this interesting discussion is done. -
RE: "LatinX" and the 5 year u-turn
@raphjd
I note that you didn't reference any conservatives who are condemning their party's ignorance and nonsense, at least any that have not been punished by the party.
I'm still looking for a source for those. -
RE: "LatinX" and the 5 year u-turn
@raphjd
The "big lie" does not work both ways. If there are Dems running for and winning elections based on what you consider the Stacy Abrams or Hillary equivalents, I'm going to need some names. There are two major statewide candidates who are suing various state entities (and losing) over debunked claims of voter fraud based on the big lie. Are there Dems doing that kind of thing? If so, where?Away from the "big lie", liberals have a lot of clown world ideas, that never get called out.
Conservatives have at least as many clown world ideas. Ask any liberal.
As for Joy Reid, she is a clown and a political hack. Not sure why anyone would pay attention to her. A number of past and present MSNBC "hosts" have this kind of issue. It's not a reputable source of anything, as far as I am concerned. There are plenty of unhinged people on the right also. Take a look at OAN or NewsMax sometime. (Is OAN still a thing? I haven't looked lately.)
No one calls out that everything is "white supremacy", according to liberals. Anything and everything is due to white supremacy. It reminded me of how everything was due to patriarchy for the first 15ish years of the 2000s.
<
Surely you're missing the things that are climate change or whatever Murdoch world is using to drive ratings this week. Conservatives are the most horribly oppressed group ever, according to conservative media. For some reason conservatives believe that.I agree "the race card" has long been over used. It was big back before 2000 as well. But you know, hate crimes against racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ people, Muslims, Jews, and various other groups are up significantly in the last 3 years. I wonder why that would be.

sorry that post is a bit repetitive... I wish there was an edit button so I could fix it, but there's not.

RE: "LatinX" and the 5 year u-turn
@raphjd
I don't see conservatives condemning much ignorance and nonsense that comes from their party, particularly "the big lie". I'm recently back from a visit to Arizona, and there is plenty of ignorance and nonsense being spouted by candidates who won their party's primary back in August.There's also "the big lie" as the media wants to call it, which I know you have said you don't believe, but plenty of people vote for politicians who repeat it.
Does the same thing happen with Democratic Party candidates? Sure. Do you see the condemnation of it? Apparently not.

RE: "LatinX" and the 5 year u-turn
@raphjd
I suppose I have to take your word for that.Conservatives like to make rash generalizations and get outraged about them. Why? Follow the money. Advertising revenue for TV, radio, blogs, etc., donations to causes, and campaign contributions.
They're not the only ones by any means. For example, Pacifica radio, or MSNBC. Or a whole bunch of campaign fund raising emails I've been getting from candidates and committees on all sides.

RE: "LatinX" and the 5 year u-turn
who was cancelled over "LatinX"? And by whom?
-
RE: "LatinX" and the 5 year u-turn
@raphjd LatinX is an example of "wokeism" that even the left (and especially Latinos and Latinas) laughed at. Actually, the left laughs at lots of what right leaning media likes to call wokeisms. Laughing at them seems way more effective at stamping them out than indignation, but I guess indignation is better for ratings.
And technically, I think LatinX was about sexism rather than racism, but that's just a nit in this case.

RE: Duplicate report ignored
@drekkin This duplicate might have been interesting in 2018 when it was posted... it doesn't seem so important now. I don't know if that's why the report was ignored, of course.

RE: gay porn videos atmosphere.....
@eobox91103 Since COVID lockdowns, a lot of porn production has moved to Montreal as well. And Florida is definitely worth mentioning, especially for many of the lower cost site.

RE: Have all the good uploaders gone?
@drekkin I absolutely agree, and I never download torrents like this.
Did you report them? I can't imagine they don't violate at least one rule... -
RE: Why Is This Happening?
@ianfontinell It seems to me the site is understaffed. This seems to have been the case for a while now... not really sure why.
-
RE: Have all the good uploaders gone?
@drekkin There are a few uploaders providing recent material from quality sites here - sometimes before other sites. But they are very much buried among posts like you describe.

RE: When will we migrate to the new URL?
@anthonydraco The URL is just a name used to reach the site... the actual site is the same no matter which name you use. So your ratio, bonus, torrent records, etc. are the same no matter which name you use. It's just that the RU name will stop working at some point.
-
RE: nothing works
@eobox91103 I have the same experience as you with .ru and .rent torrents. All seem to be working correctly.
@bi4smooth Joker has said he recently renewed the .ru name for 10 years, so I don't think there's a near-term problem with existing torrents ceasing to function.
everyone: remember, please, that what changed is just the name used to access the site and tracker. The servers, databases, tracker, and everything are the same no matter which name is used. There is not a second, duplicated infrastructure to support the new name.

RE: Reseed Requests script needs updating
@kalayaan
you can also just log in to the old site (using the link on the 404 page), then use your browser back button twice to get back to the 404 page, which will now work. The issue is that you're not logged in to the old site.the advantage of doing this over editing the URL is that it works for several hours, so if you have multiple reseed requests, logging in for the first one makes them all work.

RE: I wonder what studios think of Onlyfans and Chaturbate?
@ianfontinell
don't forget that onlyfans (or equivalent) take a cut of the money and typically leave the model with 30-40% of the amount collected. That's still a lot of money for someone with 10s of thousands of subscribers.
