This thread is very insulting because the people of BOTH Spain and Greece have been making many sacrifices in order to pay all these taxes and cuts that Troika has forced us.
I get it, you do not like Greece, and possibly you do not like Spain, as well but everyone has acknowledged  that both of these countries have made whatever it is humanly (and not) possible in order to recover and this is something that even the politicians of Germany have acknowledged.
I really want a mod to step in and lock this thread. It is downlooking a very sensitive matter of my country and other crisis stricken countries and it is handled in a very disrespectful manner.

Sorry to say that, but some "new" posters here in the forums have a strange way to communicate with the GTru - users. An enormous amount of spam, nonsense and absolut useless stuff is posted and quoted, just to gain some seed points - and as if this wouldn't be enough, they celebrate themselfs by completely ignoring netiquette and judge about all and everything, without thinking about the consequences.

YES, Minerboh80 - you are right, there should be a mod to take care of such posts and I definitely would like to donate into an I-poste-only-because-I-want-to-grab-seedpoints-pot, to get rid of these posts, but unfortunately this might never happen, because it seems to be funny for some posters to insult people and it seems to be as well funny for some readers.  :afr2:

Well… juhuuuuuu... you won! It absolutely does not amuse me anymore to read stuff here in the GTru - forums. I will take a break for a while and I will visit the forums again in a few weeks, to see if there might be any changes. 

Some buttons and boundaries ( tracker - message - system ) are now bigger, than sometimes thumbnail pictures in some torrent preview sets. So we will never have to wear glasses again, when viewing a tracker message… Thaaaank youuuu ^^

Hi Comfortable,

you can always point your mouse on the "file" description ( column "Size/Infos" ) on the search page ( https://www.gaytorrent.ru/browse.php ), or open the depending torrent - page and scroll down to "Num files", to click on the option "see full list", to see the included files of the torrent.

If you are unsure, if the file already has been uploaded ( maybe with a different name ), you could as well compair the file - size ( list your search with the option "sort by size" ) after you searched for a file and inlcude as well the option to search in ALL torrents, when you search before uploading a new torrent. Be aware that some people don't name the files after their torrent, so it is often enough the case, that the file - name has nothing to do with the files in the torrent…. sad... but you can't force the users to name their files rational to the torrent.

Sorry Dilflover1, but there is far more than only technik in life. ^^ - That's a bit too naive ( this isn't meant to insult you!!! ) - but to discuss this, I would suggest to open another thread, so that the threadstarter and his thread topic should be respected. 

I would like to point out, that "online dating sites" should only be considered, if you are more experienced. There are hundreds… well thousands and more, who lie nearly about everything on these sites and what I find the worst thing is, that more than 50 percent always try to be a psychologist... oh and apart from that, you can get pretty much addicted, just like with facebook and twitter and don't even recognize it, because it gets more and more common to spend more time online, than with friends and family.  :afr2:

Due to the fact that I often enough experience the issue "error: Problem connecting to tracker - timed out" - yes, sometimes this issues exist for several seeding torrents and sometimes over a few hours - I wonder if the uploaded amounts will be still registered by the tracker? My logs often display this issue every 30 minutes for different torrents and we know that the tracker updates our stats/ratio as well every 30 minutes. As I noticed now for quite a while ( well, actually it is since GTru uses more security options to prevent DDos - attacks and stuff ), this issue isn't solved by stopping the torrent and re-starting it again - and as well, if I stop a torrent with this issue, no uploaded amount what so ever is added.

This is not really important for me, because I have a quite good upload ratio, but for users with a low ratio this can be rather frustrating, if the uploads won't count at all - and this for hours!  

Edit: At the moment, there are 19 torrents, which have this issue… maybe a Technik-Admin could say something to this issue as well.

At this risk of revealing too much personal information, here's part of my life story:

I've known I felt urges towards other boys for pretty much all my life.  I remember having a huge crush on a boy at age 6 in grade one. I somehow also knew for all my life that other people didn't always accept that I liked boys, so I sought to control who knew and/or who found out.  I didn't tell anyone myself prior to meeting my first love interest.  And what I told him was:  I'm curious to explore these feelings, but I don't want anyone else to know.

I think it hurt him deeply, over our four year relationship, that I didn't want anyone to know how we felt about each other.  My not being out to my parents while still living at home, denied him full inclusion into my family at special occasions (such as family dinners for birthday parties and special days like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.)  He was there, yes, but the reason for him being there was never disclosed, and I always had another person there, a woman, to cover.   (She was actually older, closer in age to my mother, and I suspect my mom may have thought, for a time, I was a cougar chaser  :blink: )  In the end, my not being out ended our relationship…  or was a major stress factor that heavily contributed to the breakup.

Shortly after we broke up, I came out to my mom.  On "National Coming Out Day" no less.       It took me quite a while to spit out the words to my mom...  and in the process she was kinda worried about what I was trying to say.  When I finally got it out... she said:  Is that all??  I was worried you'd killed someone or something!  (I think she was joking... but her point was unmistakable:  I was still her son and she was going to accept me as I was.)

Since that time, I have still tired to control who knows.  Maybe I am a control freak, or maybe I don't want people gossiping about me...  to this day I still don't know why I care who knows?!?  I do know I was fired from a job, more or less because of it, although of course they didn't say that when they said "Nick, it's just not working out..." after 3 years of nothing but great feedback but shortly after they found out about my sexuality.  There are still many days when I think I am treated differently because of it...  but the truth is even if I didn't tell them, they'd probably still suspect and treat me differently if that was their inclination.  The older you get, the harder it gets for others to not see something different about you.  (Than the supposed 90% of society that is not GBLTQ.)

So the long and the sort of it... for me is this.  You HAVE to come out to yourself.  Say the words "I'm gay" (or bi or whatever) to yourself in private...  learn to accept yourself.  When you're comfortable with that...  decide if you want to tell anyone else...  but if you do, be prepared to help them realize why you want them to know... so they can accept you as you have accepted yourself.

I really adore what NickGWM mentioned here and fully agree to it… and for this words, I really would like to hold him in my arms for a moment ( nonono... there is no sexual meaning to that ^^ )  :hug:

My dad used to say: "Some like going to the church and some like bread and jam - just accept both" - There is no "best way", nor is there any "right way" for tastes or for sexual feelings.

The very first time is always special - even the worst first time will be in your mind years later… but this happens as well for the first kiss, like it is very special, when you drive with your first bike, without support wheels. You will experience an enormous amount of "very special first time events" in your life... bad ... and hopefully much, much more good ones. Please enjoy them all, because each event will direct your life. If you had a bad time, using the black door, you will mostly choose a red door the next time and if you enjoyed using a red door, you will mostly enjoy to choose another red door next time as well, if you have a choice. It's YOUR life... choose as many doors as possible to make it interesting for YOU and to learn as much as possible.

NickGWN stated already, that not all people will accept your choices in your life, but I don't think, that you should care too much about their thoughts. They will have made choices that you didn't like as well. Even in a small town /village, you will find people, who accept your choices and you should respect their choices. You are not boring, when you stay in the middle and this doesn't make you less interesting for others as well. The average person is neither extrovert nor introvert... he/she is on a middle way. You don't have to hold a sign with GAY on it and you certainly don't have to tell everybody, what your sexual interests are and you definitely have to tell people, what you don't like, if you don't wish to. Trust your own feelings and don't try to question yourself too much... too much speculating will create wrinkles and to much wrinkles will make you look old - which is only o.k. when you are over 60 years old.

I do like these stories as well, maybe because most of the stories have a happy-end.. not all though… but as I staed, "most" of them.

I think one of the most boring stories is mine, because it was absolut o.k. for all of my friends, my parents and for the rest of the family, when I decided to anwser questions like "Have you got a girl-firend?" with "No, I'm gay" … and added at this time ( 15 years )... "and no..., I don't have a boyfirned either, at the moment". I was questioned at lot of time by friends and family, how I would know, that I'm gay and most of the time, the answer "I like sucking cocks much, much, much more, than the imagination of licking a vagina, which doesn't even get me hard at all" - sounds a bit naughty for a 15-year-old, but due to the fact that it was true and I still don't feel different by now, I still think, that my answer was not too sexual and not too shameless.

There were only two persons in my family ( grandpa and one older nephew ), who were kind of rude and disrespectfull to me afterwards, but I didn't have much contact to them before, nor did I have it afterwards... so it didn't really bothered me and the fact that when I mentioned this and my father was around as well during this times, he noticed the rude and disrespectfull comments and stepped right next to me, gave me a little, warm smile and looked over to grandpa / nephew with the question ( with a bit of a slightly aggresiv facial expression "Something wrong with it, that my son is gay???"... well you could imagine, that both didn't want to argue with my father... so the conversation about it was over and my dad gently guided me elsewhere both times  ;D

Sorry, but this is mostly not your fault, nor can you do something to solve such issues. These issues are mostly caused by wrong or missing DNS entries made on the used nameservers for a domain ( gaytorrent.ru / mail.gaytorrent.ru ), or the eMail - server itself has a strange or wrong configuration.

Try to contact the HelpDesk and ask for a new invite or cancel the actual pending one if possible over your profil. Try not to use a common free eMail - Hoster like Google, Yahoo, GMX, Hotmail and stick to eMail - adresses hosted over the internet provider your friend is using. To explain WHY this suggestion works much better for eMails from GTru, I would have to explain very technical things, which might not be very interesting for you… but if you still would like to know that, just contact me over a private message.

What most people ( especially new users @ GTru ) mostly never think of is the difference betweeen "open tracker" and "private tracker". To join in to an "open tracker", you don't have to be registered. You just download the torrent and start leeching/seeding. The "open tracker" doesn't care about your ratio and the "jump and run" mentality of some users is a great way for decent sharer to raise up their own ratio very quickly and the good and the bad sharer never have to worry about it.

The contrast is a "private tracker", like GTru and especially because we have a rationator here as well. I would say, that we don't really have any "jump and run" users here, because if they are some, they are pretty quick disabled, because of their bad ratio. So we actually are ALL good sharers here, which results to less upload from each user @ GTru.

Remembering this, you will come to the conclusion, that it IS much more difficult, to have a good ratio when you are new here @ GTru… but during the time, you are getting used to the rules, become a good seeder and the ratio will raise up, even with a very slow connection, because you will CARE about it and don't ruin the community with a jump-and-run mentality. You will understand that sharing isn't meant by grabbing all as soon as possible and only give back a tiny little percentage of it back, but at least 0,5 times of what you actually downloaded from others, best is 1,0 and 1,5 times will give you a small buffer for the next torrents you desire. You might not like the idea of downloading stuff, which you aren't interested in, just because there are a lot of leechers and you might increase your ratio with such unwanted stuff and the final result will be, that your buffer increases as well for your next torrents, you may even reach some goals with that unwanted stuff in your account, so that your limits will increase to download more and more torrents a day. And if you would like to reach such goals a bit faster, you upload torrents yourself, probably even something, that you don't really like, but what will probably attract a lot of leechers.

... WoW !!! That sounds pretty easy and that all sounds as well like a nice community, where users SHARE and don't only think of their own needs... well yes... it IS pretty easy and this is why I am a longterm member here @GT ru. ^^

it is NOT illegal in germany, to either leach and/or seed torrents. No one get's arrested for doing that and if some one is telling this, he just forgot to mention, that he probably did something different, than leeching and seeding and got arrested for this!!!

ich kann mich daran erinnern, dass QTM in den früheren Versionen mal Probleme mit Files größer als 2 GB hatte, jedoch schreibt GTru, dass dies inzwischen gelöst sein soll und erfolgreich auch mit 20 GB - Files getestet wurde. Ich weiss nicht, ob es Sinn macht, nun wahllos auszutesten, ob QTM die Fehlerquelle ist, aber ich selbst habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass das manuelle Erstellen ohne QTM zwar ein wenig länger dauert und ein klitzeklein wenig mehr Arbeit erfordert, aber dafür hatte ich in der Vergangenheit weniger Frust bei der Erstellung von Torrents. Ich denke mal, jeder sollte für sich entscheiden, was er für sinnvoll erachtet und dann den Weg nehmen, der einem am meisten Freude bereitet. ^^

QTM "sollte" eigentlich eine Erleichterung sein, wenn es darum geht einen Torrent zu erstellen, jedoch sollte man/frau bewusst sein, dass es immer die jeweils aktuelle Version erfordert, um auch wirklich erfolgreich zu sein. Ebenso sollte explizit darauf hingewiesen werden, dass nicht jede Version von uTorrent von QTM unterstützt wird.

Derzeit aktuell ist die Version "v1.10" welche mit uTorrent - Versionen "V1.X - V3.X" kompatibel sein sollten.

Nun zur Fehlermeldung selbst "torrent contains no piece hashes":

Dies bedeutet, dass QTM leider einen fehlerhaften Torrent erstellt hat, der keine Hash-Teile enthält. Ein Torrent wird immer so erstellt, dass viele kleine Hash-Teile das Ganze zusammenfügen… also zum Beispiel die Hash-Teile 1,35,97,135,180 ergeben zusammen Datei 1. Diese Splittung erfolgt nie nach einem besonderem System und ist auch nicht reproduzierbar, was einen Torrent einzigartig macht. QTM selbst scheint nicht prüfen, ob der eben erstellte Torrent "korrekt" erstellt wurde, der Client ( hier uTorrent ) jedoch prüft dies immer und schlägt Alarm, wenn ein Torrent Fehler enthält; das Resultat bei der Prüfung ist, dass der Torrent entweder erfolgreich vom Client geladen wird, oder wie bei Dir, Joseph, leider nicht.
Um dies selbst einmal für Dich selbst zu bestätigen, kannst Du versuchen, einen Torrent mit uTorrent zu erstellen, dies ist recht unkompliziert über die Funktion "Datei - Neuen Torrent erstellen" möglich. Die Tracker - URL ist hier immer "http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru" und nach dem manuellem Upload über die Seite "https://www.gaytorrent.ru/doupload.php" musst Du den Torrent erneut von GTru downloaden ( so wie Du jeden anderen Torrent auch downloadest ), um ihn in Deinem uTorrent - Client zu seeden, denn GTru ergänzt Deinen selbsterstellten Torrent mit Daten nach dem manuellem Upload, welche in Deinem selbst erstelltem Torrent nicht zur Verfügung stehen.

Solltest Du weitere Fragen haben, zögere nicht, diese einfach hier in Deinem Beitrag zu stellen… es gibt immer jemanden, der gerne bereit ist, Dir zu helfen, damit alles funzt.

GTru is NOT giving out any informations about seeding or leeching behaviour and especially doesn't give out the information about any IP regarding any profil. A sentence like "and these videos has been traced back to you and your account" is just pure nonsens and a shoot out of the blue. Even DMCA messages won't be forwarded in a way, that the sender may get to know the initial uploader of a torrent. So IF you ever get such messages through the GTru - domain, you should definetly forward such messages to the helpdesk, so that the sender account gets banned because of fraud.

please let the users at least choose with an option, IF they would like to see such things ( as for other fetishes, which might not be interesting for the one or the other ).

… and I voted for "no, keep this banned" ... why? Because I' m not at all interested in such things and I wouldn't even think of promoting things, which may result to a shorter life.

well, simon… I'm glad that you found a "solution"... but to be honest, that is not really what the administrator of the site wanted, as he choosed to limit the sessions to a lower time. Sure there are always ways to move around of any security feature and in this case you don't even have to use a special program, because you might edit any cookie as well "by hand" with any text - editor.... but as I think, the administrator of the site does think, that a rather short cookie seesion is way better for security reasons and another step to get rid of some bots and stuff. I think it is kind NOT POT POST any tricks for that issue, even that I can as well understand the users, who might want to have a longer coockie-session period. You might want to edit your previous post, after thinking again about it.  :hug2:
