if you ask me half year before, i will choose europe, but right now i wanto live in China mainland. the world is changing rapidly.

the big city at eastern and southern China is modern as the other western country. it’s totally lacking of unique identity. even the youth there does celebrate the western festival.

if you want to meet gay people in China you need go to those big city, i think there are million of gay lives there. you can go to the bathroom or public toilet to me them.

But I sort of was able to gain the power to realize why people do the things they do.

Being a feminine boyish black gay man in his late 20s, who's always felt excluded from society, I just learn to pick up on common things and patterns.

For example, I learned that men who are always picking up trash in the street, hold the door open for others, give their seat up on a crowded train, guys who you can go up and ask for help or directions and give them to you are gentleman and nice.

Guys who litter, guys who don't hold the door open when walking into a building, guys who spread their legs and crotch wide open when sitting on a train, guys who you go up and ask for help give you a shitty or rude comeback, are usually assholes and not nice.

Just stuff like that.

I was 35 and content to know I was unlikely to ever have children of my own... then (and I'm not joking) the condom broke once, and my daughter was conceived. I married her mother (I did love her, and she/we were great for about 10 years! Then her mother had a stroke and moved in with us, and my wife turned into a very wicked witch). We tried to have more biological kids, but complications during my daughter's birth left her unable to carry more children... so we became foster parents, and along the way we adopted... and adopted... and adopted! All told, I have 9 beautiful children (and one.... no, they're all beautiful, all unique [no full-blood brothers or sisters], and all joys in my life)

I lived a wild live until 35, and you could make a case for it being a WILD almost-25 years since then... but I have no regrets! My kids are all awesome, each in their own way!

Depends on the setting

In a once off setting ie friend's birthday party, work function, just be polite, maintain a bit of chit chat, after a few minutes, initiate a conversation with another person and move away

A friend/acquaintance that you do not like to hang out with, "busy" to all invitations to one to one meetings, passive communication when met as a group ("yes" "wow really" answers, do not fuel the conversation), again still be polite about it

If it's someone you not attracted to but hoping to go further with you, if they make their intentions clear, be direct as well, explain that you are not interested in anything more than friends. If you feel like they want to take things further are you are not interested, it helps mentioning you are interested in someone you recently met, or suggesting a feature that you are attracted to but that person lacks perhaps?

I think as with any social app, they all perpetuates these crafted profiles of success and I tend to find that people who spend too much times on them compare too many aspects of their own life with these filtered Avatars. Especially when you're surrounded by them and whom seem to live such interesting and perfect lives when yours is the opposite. People are too concerned about themselves too really bother about anyone else.
