    • RE: Monitoring BAD Uploaders

      Anyone who has ever uploaded has at some point been an honest "bad uploader".

      Since all of my other uploads went fine, I decided I could make a new upload and go away for the week and let my computer do what it does.  Sadly, within a few hours of me leaving, my computer rebooted and killed my upload.  In th end, the upload got finished, but it took a long time.

      Ok, now I use a seedbox, so I can keep tabs on it anywhere in the world.

      @kojote:

      I upload music here.  I try to upload music that other members will enjoy, and it is nice to get a point or two, not because I need the points…but it lets me know that what I uploaded was liked.  The points are great.. however, knowing that I am contributing something of value to the site is more important.

      I love you.  :hug2:

    • RE: Well Prepared Torrent Upload Rewarding

      I'm not too worried about who the director is.

      Also, every part of the torrent should be in mixed capitalization (big and small letters) used properly, not just the title.

    • RE: Rudy Giuliani Allegedly Breaks Promise To Marry Gay Friends

      How is this any different to Obama supporting full gay marriage before he ran for President, now he only supports civil unions.

      Politicians, on both sides, constantly use gay equality as a political ploy for votes.

    • RE: UPLOADERS should be given more bonus or ratio points. Otherwise why upload

      @twinkletoes:

      @raphjd:

      I'm wondering why someone with a ratio of 5.802 and a seed bonus nearly 2,800 (at the time of this post)
      is demanding more ratio/seed bonus be added to his already high amounts.

      I don't get the point of this thread.

      But what was his ratio/SB when he started this thread (over 2 years ago)?

      True, I should have looked better.

      Anyway, he was already a Power User and had Auto Approval for 5 months when he made the thread.

      43 more states to go, of course then you have all the territories and protectorates

      Let's not forget Federal law in the guise of DoMA.

    • RE: Gay tracker friendly seedbox service

      I use FileZilla (free) to get my files from SeedUnlimited to my home computer and 90% of the time, my download (seedbox to home) is maxed out.

      2 things you need to remember;

      1. These aren't super computers we're dealing with.  So if you have a lot of active files going at once, it will slow it down some.

      2. Downloading from your seedbox to your home computer counts toward #1 and also your upload speed. So if you are uploading to other users, don't expect your upload speed to your home computer to be very fast.

    • RE: SF Circumcision Ban: Lawsuit Seeks To Block Ballot Measure

      We don't allow parents to scar, tattoo, plate lip, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc their children, so why should we allow them to cut part of their cock off?

      Ironically, Scotland, then England (possibly Wales too), used the data on baby male circumcision to ban dog tail docking and ear cropping, but still allow human parents to mutilate their male children.

    • RE: Bossini Pants

      We had an 18 inch (about 24cm) upholstery needle in our new leather sofa.

      Thankfully we followed the directions and used the "oil" wipes on it before sitting on it, otherwise my partner would have had a serious hole in him because it was between the 2 back cushions on his side.

    • RE: Gay: Born this way?

      Although not uncommon, these treatments never became mainstream in Britain. In the US, however, the idea that homosexuality can be cured retains wide support.

      That should not be construed as the British being more gay friendly.

      The difference is that they put gays in prison rather than in nut houses.

    • RE: Stir in Virginia over Rainbow flag at a Federal Reserve Bank

      As a matter of fact, on a worldwide scale, the number of heterosexual females with some sort of venereal disease is actually larger than that of the gay population. This fact also holds true within North America.

      That needs to be clarified.

      On a per capita basis, hetero women have a high rate of STDs/VD than gays do.

      It's not just North America, the UK also has an extremely high rate of STD in heteros, compared to gays.

    • RE: Most Americans Disagree With Church Teaching On Homosexuality, Abortion

      It's not that Americans hate gays, per se.  It's that they are heavily into religion, that is the problem.

      If you look at black centric nations, they tend to be a lot more "religious" than whites and you will see that they hate gays with a passion.

      Sadly, most people (of every religion) are too lazy to read their holy text for themselves.  This breed ignorance.  All they know is what their preacher tells them.

      Nations with a much lower percentage of religion are more more tolerant of gays than religious nations.

      I'm willing to bet that Bob Marshall got VD from a former boyfriend, now he thinks all gays have VD.

    • RE: Ontario DriveClean Program

      Things may have changed, but back when I lived in Texas, Harris County (basically Houston) was the only place in the state that had to have their cars safety/smog checked by state law.

      I'm sure you can imagine all the shit vehicle traveling through Houston.  We saw a car driving down Interstate 10 with rope holding the doors semi closed and trailing a black cloud of pollution.  The car was legal as long as it wasn't registered in Harris County.

      It's funny/ironic that the same thing happened to him when he was at Davenport Lyon and got busted.

      He bragged about how rich he was to being a pauper overnight and he got virtually no fines.
