Excluding the few cities, Welsh communities are quite isolated.

Scotland also has a lot of isolated areas, which are lonelier than the Welsh valleys, because fewer people live there and are further apart.

My mom's side of the family (her generation, not mine or younger) is quite homophobic. They are all Democrats, except one of my aunts. I only talk to 2 people from that side, my sister and my cousin (female).

My dad's side of the family is quite religious and quite conservative. Almost all voted for Trump. I talk to all of them and they even talk to my husband.

Being conservative Trump supporters doesn't mean you are a homophobe and being a Democrat doesn't mean you are a nice person.

The ratio scale has not changed in years. It might have even been a decade at this point.

The more you download, the higher the minimum ratio requirement is. The highest minimum ratio requirement is 0.800 or 80%.

I have no idea what you mean by that, but the staff can't change the ratio scale. That is something only the site owner can do and has to be done for the entire site, not just a single person.
