Who says that it isn't wise to download with only 1 or 2 seeders?

It really depends:

a) If they are old, they might download slow. As well, it's unlikely you will have someone any soon to download it, too. So seeding back data will take long and you need to have a buffer to effort the wait time. However once there is eventually another downloader, you'll make good upload.

b) If they are new, it is even recommended to jump-on as early as possible (means 1 initial seeder only). This increases the chances to seed back. Somehow torrents in the initial phase work like a pyramid system. Early joiners win later loose.

If a VPN or proxy service is used, don't use the "Auto" server connection, but use a manual server selection.

Auto is hopping too much servers and changing IP all the time, which make tracking difficult.

No in c) I speak about the passkey in the tracker announce URL, not the username / password combo to log into his account.

He can find his tracker announce URL in his Profile, it looks like:

where "here_the_passkey" is a long series of numbers and letters.

If you edit in your torrent client the tracker announce URL (properties) to have his passkey instead of yours, your upload and dwonload will count towards his account.

Moderators can't reduce the download amount. That would not help much either, because each not freeleech download will increase it again.

You underestimate your ability to upload data. Hang on!

a) You can not gift upload to a friend.

b) If he has uploaded an own torrent and tells you which, you can say "Thank you" and give him some bonus points.

c) You can seed for your friend by using his passkey in your seeding torrents. This requires that your friend gives his personal secret passkey to you and therefore trusts you not to abuse it (e.g; for downloading on his account). This is something I'd not recommend.

d) Don't use (means login) ever his account to try to seed for him, that will look for the system like you having two accounts and result in a duplicate account warning.

The two limits you mention are for two different things.

a) The 80 is the number of .torrent files you can get per day
b) The 15 is the number of torrents being downloading* at the same moment in your torrent client(s)

• = torrents of which you got not 100% of ALL files

Please verify your current downloading list, if it isn't filled with multiple file torrents of which you choose not to download all files.

My remark was not related to the user knowledge or ability to make right decisions or configure his privacy settings, but rather to the complexity and resources required to have such settings possible and work correctly.

@danijelr15 and @archangelslc : Seen the difficulties get the uploader privacy correct at all places, I don't see that we'll add complexity anywhen soon. Sorry.

There  are two things to consider:

a) Your torrent client "knows" in real time what it downloaded / uploaded. However the tracker is updated by your client (usually) only in 30 minutes intervals by your client. Each torrent running on its own interval schedule. So up to 30 minutes up-/download can be different.

b) IP hopping between updates by your client will result in loss of tracking that intervals upload.

c) There is no place at GayTorrent.ru where you can see the total of upload / download per torrent like you see it in the client. What you see per torrent is the last uninterrupted connection session. Any interruption will reset to zero. It are life data from the tracker, not total accumulated history.

d) You can only compare the grand total upload and download of your client with the sum of all GayTorrent.ru torrents in in your client, if you kept them all in. Or you can compare the delta of those indications over a period (but need to consider mention a) and b)  for possible differences.

It looks there are two different internet accesses used by your account. This can be your intended use, e.g. seedbox and home computer OR it can be parasite downloads through a leaked passkey.

Regarding your low upload, I'll try to help you there, because visibly to try to seed many for long.

It depends what you want:

• fast download > many seeds
• own upload > many downloading peers

Attention to multiple file torrents. Peers appearing as downloading, might just have selected not all files to download and got them. They seed what they've got, without downloading further. They just can't be counted as seeds, because they haven't all files to share.

Usually confirmed duplicate uploads aren't removed immediately and you get a PM. You can reply to the moderator having handled that report and appeal giving a reason why you belief it isn't handled right. If you aren't satisfied with his feedback, you still can write the Helpdesk.

I've looked through your Uploaded Torrents for those having found duplicate:

a) The first wasn't indeed a duplicate, so I restored it, made it freeleech, promoted it and marked to your Profile that it wasn't a duplicate.

b) The second I confirm to be a duplicate. A few added screenshots don't make it no duplicate. On a video torrent, what counts are the video files. Only when we see a full original Picture Set added, it will count as added shared works.

So that gives a somewhat mixed result…

The short answer is: GayTorrent.ru recommends the use of a VPN for both torrents and site navigation.

The longer answer:
a) If you albeit to the ToS and Rules, you should have no issue with your uploads, because you got the right to share the creative works for which you upload a torrent.

b) However, when you download, you can't be sure other members uploading albeit always to the ToS and Rules. Therefore a protection of your privacy is recommended.

c) There are copyright owners, respectively their agents scanning the listings and sending take down requests to GayTorrent.ru, which is removing such alleged copyright infringing sharing torrents shifty (as fast as possible with the staffing available). This will reduce the in b) mentioned possibly copyright infringing sharing and therefore enforce the in a) mentioned ToS and Rules. See the DMCA item in the menu band.

d) Though copyright owners and their agents can view the listings and help to keep GayTorrent.ru "clean", it is not tolerated that they spy on members.

Just look to the oldest torrent in your Profile's Uploaded Torrents list. If it is after Jan 2015, you can still claim the reward.

At what point does it been rejected?
What is the torrent client to create the .torrent file or do you use QTM?
