So why are so many torrents uploaded without any screen grabs? How can this happen?
Through the "[Edit this torrent]" function the uploader (the first 7 days) and staff got.
Agreed, all file names and descriptions should match the video however this is not the case and whenever I have reported it nothing changes.
File names in a torrent's file list can't be changed without a new torrent.
But because this rule is not enforced torrents are being posted regularly, everyday and are getting increasingly more in numbers.
The rule is enforced when GayTorrent.ru moderators get notice of the issue, the picture will be removed, members to add better then. Reporting is important therefore.
Regarding the longer paragraphs of rothko:
We got many members doing their first uploads, often driven by low ratio warning messages. It is already difficult to get the first own upload on a private tracker wronging (therefore the First Time Upload Program bonus points). Those hasty uploads have indeed often not rule conform presentations. Then there are two aspects…
1/ Get members to improve their upload presentations and help them doing so (your first uploads might not have the level than yours have now ...), rather than pull out the hammer and punish
2/ It is just the presentation, it can be improved. I refuse to warn members who do the most important thing: share content with the members.
The current system hasn't an option to "park" torrents with not rules conform presentations (that would be great) only two...
1/ Delete a torrent (that is what is done with torrents having issues with the content shared, e.g. alleged copyright infringement, potential under legal age models, etc...)
2/ Remove from the public access, but still track them until above 1/ (that is done for example with duplicate uploads, a practice I'm not sure if it is good, as it encourages duplicate uploads. On the other hand repeated duplicate uploads are a freeway to get set on approval)
Once set like this, the uploader lost access, too, so that isn't the right option for poor presentations.
That is limiting the possibilities in how to process those torrents which have a poor description and to my experience changing the system will take years, just because most resources are occupied to keep the site running against all odds.
