Please allow a question; Which version of QTM were you using and if it is the latest v1.12, did you uninstall the previous version properly before installing v1.12?

RE: Very low upload rate… what's wrong?
You are comparing data which can't be compared, because what you see in ktorrent is the upload over all the time since you added the torrent to ktorrent. What you see on the site are "live" data from the tracker, which are reset to zero when you stop the torrent, stop ktorrent, pause the torrent too long, restart you computer or the tracker reboots (last time 5 days ago).
However, the grand total of upload and download (except freeleech) adds all the torrents uploads and downloads since ever, but it is not stored by torrent, just a big everything in two pots.

RE: IRC chat window
It is not just you or your settings. I've just verified and it is gone for me two from the "Home" page and an internal "Team" page …
Quiet a surprise and I'm not sure if that is a glitch or done intentionally, I'd think by intention though, there was some abuse lately.

RE: Seeding
For uploading an own torrent a display of 1 seed (that should be you) and being connected to 0 is just fine. You Vuze won't connect to itself or any other seed, as there is no need for it. This assumes your Vuze is actually seeding (and not downloading).
What you need to make sure is that the torrent is started and not only queued and if it is done by "force start".
Is this the torrent from a few days ago?

RE: Uploaded torrent removed without explanation
It appears that while improving the tracker so that there are less timeouts received at the torrent clients announces, a glitch prevented the system to log the (first) seeding started. Which then lead to the "not seeding" messages sent out and later automated deleting. :afr:
The different messages to the Helpdesk and this topic helped to become aware of the issue, than you.
Please understand that when such question first drops in, before there are multiple in a short period, the usual standard cause is addressed in the reply. In your case it wasn't a standard answer, because the moderator did look into the log to see it was deleted for not seeded after 3 days.
Certainly a lot of torrents got deleted and even more "not seeding" messages sent out wrongly. Sorry!
The issue has been fixed.

RE: Is this a duplicate file?
Yes, unless there is already a torrent Z for that solo file

RE: Uploaded torrent removed without explanation
After some digging in the Log, I've found that:
" "Twink Pissing While Being Barebacked Gets A Facial" was deleted by system (older than 3 days without being seeded)"If you were actually seeding it, the initial seeding start may not have been recorded correctly during the tracker maintenance a few days ago or the site down due to the power outage at the hosting provider.
There were some messages on the helpdesk from members having received "not seeding" messages on new uploads which they said to seed. Both the sending of "not seeding" messages with basic help and the later deleting of never started seeding torrents is fully automated, because of the shear amount of them (50+ daily) and it looks the script is not fully failure proof in case of such events. It is rare that the tracker is down for a longer period.

RE: Problem…
Well, in addition to "Freeleech" torrents, which you can still download one or two at a time, you can as well get again back the .torrent files of all those you've completed to download, listed in your profile, to reseed them.
Like "Freeleech" torrents, re-downloading the small .torrent files of completed downloads never counts against the daily limit. Note that when adding the .torrent to your client, you must direct the download to the directory where the data file (the movie) is stored. https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?topic=6539.0
Your Profile list many dead torrents which you have completed to download. If you restart seeding them and give me a PM, I'll promote or make them freeleech (at my choice), which will ensure you good upload and the sites got a "saved" torrent, so a win-win. My PM https://www.gaytorrent.ru/sendmessage.php?receiver=191566
Another option is upload an own new torrent for something still missing here. https://www.gaytorrent.ru/uploadguide.php You can get 600 bonus points for the first torrent through junior's First Time Upload Program (conditions apply). https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?topic=20636
Then the rationator page list many ways to earn seed bonus points, like: voting categories on completed downloads, add pictures, report duplicates …

RE: STOP PRESS: Uploading pictures with torrent!!!
Everyone who has uploaded the torrent or has completed the download can vote one time up-to 5 categories and get 2 points in total.
The number of points are not per category, but for voting. Members should vote only relevant categories and there might only be one.
The system will show the uploader selected main category and the 4 most voted sub-categories sorted by votes. If there are enough votes (10 I think), the main category will be changed, unless a "protected" like straight or bisexual.

RE: What to with DMCA'ed torrents?
If the uploader doesn't make a counter notification, but reuploads another torrent to share it again, it is against GayTorrent.ru's ToS. I'd remind you of the following parts of the ToS:
(…) Users may not use this site to distribute any material when they do not have the legal right to do so. It is the responsibility of each user to adhere to these terms. (...)
and
(…) We have a policy of terminating, without notice and without recourse, accounts of users who are repeat infringers of site policies, based on our sole judgment of suspicion or notification we may receive. (...)
I don't want to discourage members from sharing, but reupping something you know has been removed because of alleged (and not disputed) copyright infringement is a blunt disregard of the ToS.

RE: Torrent re-upload for file issues?
First thing to check, is if the file(s) in question check 100% against your torrent in your torrent client.
If yes and it plays with sound at your computer, it is most likely not an issue with the torrent and the shared file, but an issue of codec support on the computer and/or player at the downloader side.
As well, if yes, re-uploading another torrent for the file won't change anything. Best thing is indeed to contact the Helpdesk with details, e.g. which torrent and who complains.
The Helpdesk would only delete the torrent, if it is verified that the issue is with the torrent's shared file.

I've seen this many years back (think to have it on Laserdisc) and have a positve memory about it. I liked it.

RE: Unable to download for a week now…
Just to be sure, you use the VPN of BT Guard or their proxy? If you use their proxy, you will have configured that in BitTorrent's connection settings.
If proxy, that will cause the issue and I can propose a solution. If VPN, that "should" not be the cause, but the proxy solution might help, too.
That is longer than a week ago, but the tracking was changed to secure http (https://) by default and the server's secure connections options limited. Https tracking causes issues with proxy services and the solution is to disable https tracker in your Profile settings. Go to your Profile in the blue menu band, there deselect "SSL Tracker [ ] (Uncheck to Turn off SSL Announce Urls)"
Then the tracker URL of new downloaded torrents will start "http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:2170/…" (http without "s" and with added ":2710"). For torrents already loaded, you can edit their properties in BitTorrent or just redownload them again from gaytorrent.ru
If you use BT Guard proxy, the connection to the proxy is secured by BT Guard's prowy connection settings.

RE: White screen after trying to upload a new torrent
You try to upload the small .torrent file and not a big video file?

RE: Unable to download for a week now…
Your client appears to seed 4 torrents registered by the tracker. So connection to the tracker on these 4 is possible.
Java versions concerns only Vuze, because Vuze is written in Java and uses hat runtime environment. so it doesn't concern your BitTorrent.
Your share ratio is above the minimum and will allow connection to the tracker to get peers to download.
Can you check if the torrents are started and not only queued. Simply make sure they are started by right mouse button click and selecting "Force start" from the drop down list in BitTorrent.
Then if still says "Finding peers" look in the details view in the lower BitTorrent window part under the "Trackers" tab, the line with the tracker announce URL for the status. Can you report what is says there?
You can as well compare the tracker announce URL with the one given in the Profile, especially the long sequence of numbers and letters before "/announce". That is your private secrete passkey, don't publish it here.
It would as well be of interest if you are using a proxy or VPN and if the seeding torrents use https://… or http:// in their tracker announce URL.
