what is weird is the fact that it still keeps the current page contents active. ie, i can still post on the active forum, download the currently open torrent etc. everything else, however, gets broken: eg, i cant go back to the search results, use top navigation bar etc. then i have to deliberately click on login to get to the dialog and get back in. losing all the session context in the process.

best to select all your text, then copy it (to the paste buffer) before hitting the post button, just in case the site decided to log you out, while you were in the process of composing your well-thought-out composition…

I know from painful experience.... just how totally frustrating it is to lose ALL you've written... especially if it's been a heartfelt creative composition... all trashed.  :crazy2:

Alternatively, you can log off, then log back in, before starting your composition... just to be safe (if you're likely to forget to select and copy your work before posting it... like me)  :blink:

Portions of the forum are visible to the general public, ie no login required…

But to interact with the topics... you have to log in.

Similarly, there can be a portion of a torrent presentation page that can be seen too, without being logged in, such as what might occur as a result of a general Google search.

But navigation, beyond this partial view, is inoperable, without logging in.

This is all on purpose, by site coding and design; it's not a flaw.  ^-^

I forgot to mention earlier…. that mothers generally, and secretly, already know that their son is gay... even if they say or act otherwise...

Point being... knowing this fact can reduce the stress and anxiety about coming out to your mom 

…just to add the points and advice mentioned above... is that if you DID marry a woman, as in what would be a FAKE and totally false marriage, and under the situation of totally false circumstances... it would eventually be DEVASTATING to the lady, very likely RUINING her life. Many women have actually committed suicide, following the realization of what was, in reality, a sham marriage... totally in deception, humiliation and betrayal.

MOVING to a major city (where sexual freedom is much more acceptable) and taking your chances there... would seem to be the only way out of this nightmarish situation you are currently in.

I have personal experience in this, having gotten married myself... then living the hell of living out my sexual needs and search for male love, in hiding... and eventually giving up, some 22 years later, with 3 kids... to finally be with my male lover and boyfriend at that time.

It devastated my family, and my kids won't even talk to me nowadays; so many ruined lives... all for the sake of trying to comply with other's sense of "normalcy".

I too can relate to not being able to tell your family you are gay. I was well into my forties, before I could tell my mother... and I never could manage to tell my father, in his lifetime.

Today? Finally, at 66, having moved from the USA (which is VERY homophobic, don't ever believe otherwise) to Thailand... which culturally is VERY accepting of gays... to be living now, over 10 years, with my Thai boyfriend, my best friend, lover, and boyfriend of my lifetime, totally accepted and embraced by his family...

...is kind of a happy ending, to the long nightmarish existence and path I chose (in ERROR)... when deciding to marry a girl, at 22.

Advice? Don't DO a sham marriage, move to a major city, and live your life, as you feel inside, being honest to your heart and true identity... and avoid destroying countless lives, by your honesty.

As a personal update…

I switched to TOT fiber 2 weeks ago... without a single hitch.

For nearly the same price as I was paying to 3bb, I now have 3 times faster uploading speed, and 4 times faster downloading speed, with NEVER a day where THIS site, and the other gay torrent sites are not connectable.

Summary, 3bb is a huge unreliable rip-off, which charged me a huge fine for breaking the supposed 1-year "contract" 6 months in, even tho I supported the REPORTED, yet UNRESOLVED connection issues with numerous printouts and screen dumps, and returned their hardware in perfect condition.

Avoid 3bb at all costs!

Your "next" upload, assuming it doesn't get removed for DMCA or duplicate quickly… would be considered your first.

That other one? Is long gone, doesn't qualify for FTU, and doesn't affect you claiming your first successful upload (for your NEXT upload), in the FTU program.

The only time a collection could be involved in a valid dupe report… is if it were an exact duplicate collection... every single file.... ALL files, exactly the same, as the other collection (aside from included extras, like extra pictures, etc.)

That would be a duplicate.... collection.

ALL other examples are invalid and cannot be reported as a Dupe Torrent.

Best to think of it as a loop-hole, to the Dupe Torrent rules, of sorts....

I would recommend NOT to report different resolution videos… as duplicates.

Videos with the same resolutions... then the 10% file size standard would hold true.

Are you with 3bb by any chance?

I live in Thailand too, and myself, and 2 other friends living in totally different regions / provinces… have experienced the same issue with 3bb.

They even came to the house, and what joy (in front of three straight Thai """technicians""") to have to type on the screen www.gaytorrent.ru  and show them that it couldn't connect, and on THAT day, neither would www.gay-torrents.org, nor www.gay-torrents.net  …yet, of course, no problem with other sites.

I SHOWED them, that on my tablet... (DTAC) there was NO PROBLEM accessing the sites, so it was clear this wasn't the Thai government doing a blockade.

They left the house scratching their heads, not saying ANYTHING to me.

After not hearing from them for 2 more days... I finally bit the bullet and signed up with a VPN... and NO PROBLEM accessing the site, via VPN.

The VERY NEXT DAY, I discovered I could once again access the site with 3bb.

They called me to ask if my problem had gone away, and I had to say yes, thank you, and all that.

Well, big surprise, the VERY NEXT DAY... SAME PROBLEM. Could NOT log in with 3bb, and neither could my friend.

So now... a month later... it has developed the distinct pattern where... sometimes it works... and sometimes it doesn't.

Dealing with their tech service... they're likely to show you screen dumps "proving" that using the DOS COMMAND of tracert... the connection is failing, and point the finger at GTRU.

News flash... due to site protection designs... involving DoS attacks and more... the "tracert www.gaytorrent.ru" command ALWAYS FAILS, regardless of whether or not it's a "good day" (can connect to GTRU w/o issue) or a "bad day". So that's a bullshit "proof" excuse (lie) that they will try to pull, yet good luck explaining THAT to their """technical""" staff  :blink:

All in all… connecting or not connecting...? ...it seems totally random; I cannot seem to form a pattern to this. But when I cannot connect, my other friends with 3bb cannot connect, too.

I HAVE seen that sometimes, when connecting (good day) with 3bb, the pictures in the torrent display will NOT show, and same with my friends.

I have also experimented, and found some evidence that if I use the VPN to log in... sometimes I can turn the VPN OFF, and continue navigating within the site... but still testing this...

Anyway, in conclusion, I'd say 3bb had different internal routing schemes that they switch to... and some of them work, and some of them don't... and I wouldn't hold my breath for them to fix the issue.

If your ISP is NOT 3bb, well, so sorry, then I'd have to say that perhaps... none of the above applies directly to you? ...but not sure.

I'd keep in mind that the Thai government HAS shown conclusive evidence that they are working towards a "Single Gateway" for ALL of Thai Internet communications, ostentatiously to "improve" services, but most certainly to be able to control what information that Thai citizens are allowed to see, AKA North Korea, etc.

Oh, the paid version of "proXPN"  ...as a VPN service, is working fine for me, btw.

Yes, I see the problem in your profile.

You are disconnecting from the tracker every 3 minutes or so, and changing IP addresses every time.

In order for your computer to report upload (and download) statistics, you MUST STAY solidly connected to the tracker server… doing so would report your data quantities every 30 minutes, when staying constantly connected.

Why does your system bail out and reconnect with a new IP Address every 3 minutes????

There's no solution to your situation at our end.

You have to stay coonnected non-stop, otherwise no tracker update can occur, and thus your ratio stays the same as when you opened your account: at nill.

Interested to hear your explanation for your 3 minute disconnects as it sounds a lot like a system programmed to cheat on the ratio at a private tracker, like ours...  :-0

The uploader is doing that… it's his right to do so, and he has a stratagy which improves his ratio.

YES there is, but you'll need to right-click in the headers, then select "Last Active" as a new column heading… then drag the column heading over to where you want to see it...
