This may sound strange, but close Chrome, then re-open it, but do NOT go to GT.ru right away… Instead, when you open Chrome again, clear the history, cache, and cookies, then restart Chrome one more time. That should fix that issue.

Also, it may be helpful to know what error message (if any) you receive when you attempt to upload your torrent, and when in the process that you run into this error message. This type of information will help us be able to help you and get you going in the right direction.

I believe the problem is a combination of two things… The first is that when QTM was installed, it was not installed as an administrator by right clicking the install package, then clicking "Run as Administrator"... The other thing is along the lines of what LEVI mentioned. There does indeed appear to be a certain level of issues with the newer versions of uTorrent (3.4.x as I recall). There is somewhere in the depths of the forums a forum thread that explains how to roll your uTorrent back to get around this problem, but I'm at a loss to figure out where in the forum that said thread went.

I just stumbled on this and couldn't help but mention one key thing. With some computers (depending on how your OS is installed), you may need to install QTM by right clicking the install package, then clicking "Run as Administrator" to force it to give the installer admin rights. From there, pay close attention to where you install QTM in the process. I personally recommend installing it into C:\QTM to avoid a few potential problems, however this is up to you. As long as you run the installer as an administrator in that manner, you should be able to install it without any issues.

If you're not sure what version of the installer that you're running, you can always download the current version of QTM HERE at any time.

From the sounds of things, it sounds like when you created the Vuze application in your router, you attached it to the first device in the list, which will come up by default. What you need to do is select that device, then remove the ruleset from it so that you can attach it to the correct device.

That being said, without having a way of accessing the firmware (or at least knowing the way that it's laid out), it would be really hard to say exactly how to do this. In most cases, if I'm not mistaken, you will see a list of the devices on your network when you get to the area to create such rules. If this is the case, make sure that you select your computer from the list BEFORE you start editing the rules.

I think the other thing that may be helpful to point out if he studies the scripture is to remind him about Matthew 7:1-3…. More particularly, where it begins "Judge not, lest ye be judged"... It may also be helpful to remind him that while the whole concept of being gay may be seen as being wrong for one reason or another, if you're both happy with each other, why does it need to be any different than any other relationship?

I'm not entirely convinced that being gay is a choice. Ever since I can remember, I have always had very gay thoughts, which always surrounded men. It's just not something that I've ever really put any thought into, even long before I knew about things like puberty. These are part of the reasons why I do not think that it's possible to simply "turn straight" or to otherwise choose what is and is not right for you in that regard. I think it's something that's pre-determined somehow. There are theories about the prediction of a child's sexual orientation based on the levels of estrogen and testosterone that they are exposed to during the pregnancy and in the early developmental stages. I think the research on that seems more promising and makes things lean towards it somehow being pre-determined, rather than being a matter of "genes" or "choice".

If I were to categorize religions into one little box, you could argue that any church (even the Catholic church) is a cult by definition. As such, in my opinion, it ought to be held in the same regard as satanic cults that do very strange and bizarre things, usually involving the slaughter of an animal or virgin sacrifice and lots of fire.

The bottom line to me is that much like satanic cults, even religions are perverted into something that I'm sure they were not intended to be. Even the Salem Witch Trials have their roots based in the name of religion. It only goes to further enforce that religions are no better than cults. While they may worship a different being (if that's what you want to call them), they both involve the same kind of mentality in the end. For me anyway, I just don't think that's the way to go, but then again… different strokes for different folks.

Don't forget about the whole mass genocide that is called for in several places… Or maybe I should mention that the bible condones rape marriages, child slavery, the execution of homosexuals, and a few other things. These are reasons why I say that the bible should NOT be used as a book of morals by any standards.

It didn't "become" anything.  That's how it was written from day one.  A lot of congressmen got a lot of lobbying money from the RIAA and MPAA to write it that way and pass it.

Originally, before the bigwigs at the MPAA and RIAA got involved, the DMCA was supposed to be intended as a tool to help curb piracy. Once they got involved as it was written, there were many aspects that were taken way out of context from the original idea behind it that were then somehow passed into law, despite things like the 4th amendment.

It does if you use enough of it and you do things right.

I feel your pain… I have been through hell with wrongful accusations with things like that before. Just be glad it didn't wrongfully land you in jail like it did with me.

And that is precisely why I disagree with what the DMCA has become. I agree with the whole principle behind being able to control profit loss from illegal sharing of otherwise paid content, but to take it to that extent is just ridiculous to say the least.
