If you are using the full VPN, you shouldn't need the added layer with the extra proxy connection on top of the full VPN.

That being said, as I recall with PIA, it requires that you use certain servers for port forwarding, and it requires that you use a specific port that it will assign to you. You need to ensure that your torrent client falls in line with the port number that they assign for P2P port forwarding. If you do not do this, it can become extremely difficult to get upload traffic.

It sounds like you do not have the correct port forwarding settings configured on your network. The other problem with this is that your torrent client seems to use a random port every time you start it up. This can become problematic….

See... In order to get optimal upload traffic, even when you're not leeching the torrent or are the only seeder, you need to ensure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded to your computer, both in TCP and UDP. To do this properly and securely, you need to first turn off the random port option, so that you can forward just ONE port to use with your torrents. Once this is done and incoming connections can be properly forwarded through to your computer, you should notice a HUGE difference in the results.

You uploaded your torrent a couple of months ago and have long ago stopped seeding it. In order to get upload traffic, you must be seeding your upload. As soon as you stop the torrent, the stats that will show in your profile will reset to zero, as they show the total amount that has been transferred in that particular session.

With that being said though, when you are seeding the torrent, any traffic that you obtain while seeding that torrent DOES get counted towards your overall totals, which are what is used to calculate your ratio.

If the file is an exact duplicate, you can re-seed the existing torrent, without needing to upload it again.

Can you confirm whether or not the file you have is an exact duplicate?

The best that you can do is pull up the list of the last 250 torrents that you have downloaded. You can do this by clicking [you] in the top left corner of the page, then scrolling down to the bottom and click the "Show Completed Torrents" link.

There is of course another possible way to get more than the last 250 torrents. There's a bit of a cheater's trick. Click the "Search" button at the top of the page, then click the "Show Torrents not yet voted", and the last 250 torrents that you have not voted on will appear. The difference here is that the database will maintain the list of ALL the torrents that you have downloaded, but have not yet voted for, which is separate from the rest of the history.

The catch here is that once you have voted for all of your torrents, you will no longer be able to use this feature for previous torrents, but rather, only future torrents that you download from this point forward.

I would NOT be inclined to recommend Dropbox for anything PERIOD. In my experience, their customer service is utterly incompetent and doesn't know what they're doing, and thus, will only run you around in circles for MONTHS. Also, their technical support is nothing short of a joke either. I stopped using Dropbox after I had been complaining about a bug in their Linux version for OVER A YEAR, before I finally got a generic response more or less saying that they have no intention of fixing the bug.

Well… To be honest, I did a little more than just request a re-seed... I also put a freeleech on them and/or promoted them back to the top of the list because they were older torrents. This generally encourages users to download them. When I saw that part of your problem was that there were no leechers, I took it upon myself to give the torrents a bit of a booster to help fix that part of the equation for you.

EDIT: I just now noticed that there are three torrents that have no seeds at all, so I requested reseed of them again. If you were to start up your torrent client and seed only those 3 torrents for a while, you should be able to maximize your upload credit.

Torrents can disappear for a variety of reasons. The two most common of these are that it has been reported as a duplicate, or has been taken down in accordance with a valid DMCA request. Unfortunately, there is no way to determine what exactly happened to the torrent.

I just thought I'd point out that I just now noticed something a little off in some user profiles who are using BiglyBT. Namely, the program is not properly reporting a valid port number to the tracker. With the way our tracker is setup, this can be a BIG problem.

Also, this raises the question of what else it does not accurately report to the tracker.

I think using BiglyBT is part of your problem. It is not reporting a proper port number to the tracker, which raises the question of what else is it not reporting to the tracker correctly?

Also, I see two active torrent clients in your profile. Are you sure you shut them BOTH down?

I can assist you with that. The answer is actually quite complicated. Simply put, you need to more or less surgically remove it from your computer and your system registry somewhat manually with a couple of tools and the Registry Editor itself. This is something I have a lot of experience with. I can assist you with it using TeamViewer if you're interested.

Well… Simply put, political decisions are never about what is best for the people anymore. Instead, every political decision that is made these days is all about someone making money off of it. The medications that keep me alive run anywhere from $1200 - $3000 for a 30-day supply, depending on what pharmacy that you go to. When you consider how many thousands of people who are HIV+ and on medications, each one of which will be paying at LEAST $1000 every 30 days in some way, you start talking big-time money to be made. If they were to release a cure for HIV, they would not be able to keep milking this cash cow for all they can, in order to side-line their own pockets.

Like many others before me said, barebacking is extremely dangerous, you may think yourselves clean of STD´s, but these deceases have very long time of incubation, and a window in witch they are not detectable. So you may have been tested negative, but still have some STD (hepatitis C, witch no one takes seriously and is even more dangerous than HIV, for example).
People thinking that HIV is the ONLY issue in barebacking is one of the greatest issues, like the belief that if you ejaculate outside the body you don't transmit the decease or believing that tops can´t get infected.

While I do understand where you're coming from, I'm going to have to disagree on this point…. at least in part anyway. Medical science has shown that Hepatitis C is actually a BLOOD-BORNE illness, and unless you're dealing with an open wound to an open wound during sexual intercourse, the risk of transmission of Hepatitis C is actually pretty much nonexistent. Now if you're talking going to the party and participating in the use of drugs administered by a needle, there are still great risks of Hepatitis C.

Now... As for your point about people thinking that the only "big thing" to worry about is HIV, I understand where you're coming from. What I think you might be overlooking on this point though is that by comparison to HIV, any of the other STI/STD's that you can get can be treated and cured. While I cannot dispute that they are still a risk associated with bareback sex, when compared to a life longed chronic condition for which there is no cure, they're not as serious. This of course also assumes that you follow up with regular STI/STD testing regularly, in order to catch anything that you may catch before it has a chance to do some serious damage.

Lastly, on that note, while I do not necessarily agree 100% with your view, I also am an avid believer in a person's right to choose what is right for them. I will respect a person's right to opt not to engage in certain activities as a matter of personal preference, however for me personally, condoms simply do not feel the same and do not provide the same kind of experience for me, especially as a top. So… It's all a matter of how you look at it.

The risk of contraction either way from any form of oral sex (such as a blowjob) is virtually nonexistent. That being said, when it comes to anal sex, the risk depends on a few factors. The most important of these is the person's viral load. If they both maintain an undetectable viral load, there is no risk of transmission of a new strain from one partner to the other.

By the same token, as long as the person who is HIV+ maintains an undetectable viral load, the risk of transmission to the partner is HIV free is nonexistent.

Also, the higher the viral load, the greater the risk. Generally speaking, anything under 50,000 carries a minimal risk, and it goes up from there.

First of all it is not AIDS, the main virus is HIV.  You can't catch or get AIDS withouth having first been infected with HIV.  So truthfully the answer to your question is YES.  AIDS does not live outside the body (the only way for someone to have AIDS instead of HIV is for an infant to be born with it due to they have no immune system when they are first born).

Just to point out a technicality… The CDC defines AIDS as having a CD4 count below 200. An advanced case of HIV can drop the CD4 count below 200, however there are other things that can do this as well, including some cancers such as a lymphoma blastoma. So technically, while AIDS by medical definition does not technically require the presence of HIV, the two generally do go hand in hand, once it progresses to an advanced enough stage.

Short of asking a moderator for assistance and providing them the torrent link, or filing a helpdesk request and providing a link for them to verify whether or not the account is still known, there is no way for a normal user to verify if the account is still known. This is largely for privacy reasons. While we cannot disclose information about who the individual is, we should at the very least be able to confirm whether or not the uploader is still known.

It sounds like just like with Vuze, you need to adjust some of the default settings. Namely, the settings that handle what to do when seeding the torrent. If there are no peers, the torrent will stop by default. When this setting is enabled, the client never updates with the tracker that it has completed the torrent. It simply stops the torrent when complete, which also does not accurately report all the data to the tracker.

I would strongly discourage this practice. Not only is this a great way to land yourself into trouble, but PayPal also has a clause in their terms of service that prohibits their service from being used in any way to promote the delivery of adult content, so doing this would also violate PayPal's terms of service.
