As much as I greatly despise Trump as a person, I hate to admit that it would actually be a good thing for us here in Canada if Trump were to win the election. Despite being an absolutely vile and disgusting piece of fecal matter, as a president, he brought many good things to Canadians with his politics.
The biggest example that I can think of is the pipelines for Western Canada. If Biden & Trudeau hadn't shut it down, it would have provided a number of high paying jobs for people here who need it, as well as possibly being able to have the flow reversed in order to start to get Canadian oil out into the market, so it would have been an even bigger advantage for Canadians.
Sadly, Trudeau and Biden shut the whole project down, which not only cost a rather large number of jobs for both Canadians and even Americans, but it also caused great harm to a rather profitable industry, which we would have benefited from. The problem for Trudeau & Biden is that a lot of their family owned assets are in Saudi oil, so by allowing Canadian oil to circulate into the market, it would greatly affect their precious profits on their own investments by driving prices down and eliminating our need for foreign import..
And.... Of course... Who pays the price for a lack of competition and a forced dependence on Saudi oil? We the people...
