Chrome blocking torrent download

Suddenly on my laptop Chrome has started blocking the initial download torrent link, stating the torrent may be dangerous. Can anyone shine a light on this ? thanks xx

Same here, but only in this site. Strange, so I just click keep the download anyway.

Same here, having the same blocked by Google chrome issue. It's friggin annoying. LOL

Here is what I captured while trying to download also…
I think this is related to recent browser security update...
Try switching other browser for now tried edge and it works :cheers:

I'm not even getting the option to "keep the download", just discard

On another gay torrent site, users have the option to download the torrent file with a .txt extension–and then you have it change it to .torrent before opening it. A bit clunky, but it gets around the security issues.

If you open your full list of downloads using the "Show All" button at the bottom right, or use Ctrl+J, you will see a button to keep the file.

This is very strange… I have had no such issue all day.
