1/  Keep uploading what you have.
2/  You can download Freeleech, once you do so keep uploading them.
3/  You can donate to the site.
4/  If the videos are still on your computer, if you download the torrent it will reconnect to the files letting you upload them.

You have a generous interpretation that would be the same if he had one or two files.

What he said " can not check if all are overage in the videos because there are many videos," was that he wasn't even going to bother looking at all of them to see if there were obvious underage since there were too many videos.

Granted, he also said he finds it difficult to recognize age in non-Asians, which is valid.

It's still, don't post stuff here that you haven't even looked at.  I just spent a couple of hours going through a large picture file where I deleted more than a fifth for being duplicates or off-topic.

We are having a discussion elsewhere concerning large collections on 1 torrent.

I didn't get penalized, they just took down the torrent.

So, with these questions.

1/  There are already guidelines in place concerning loading files.  I believe a file has to be less than 99% identical to another file.
2/  The problematic files tend to have more than one problem.  They might not have a good description of what files are available or have the accurate pictures pertaining to the file.  There have been a few large files where the uploader has disappeared leaving all the downloaders with unfinished downloads.  (There's one file of about 5 GB I started during the Freeleech that is still at 32%)
I've reported a couple of files for this problem, massive uploads of scores of files without pictures or descriptions.
3/  That's what a Grandfather clause is for.  Say after a certain date new rules apply to new files.  Similar to the rules around safe sex in Vintage videos.
4/  Will it cause a chilling effect?  Well, the intent is to have a chilling effect IF there are people abusing the system.  Is it a problem or just an annoyance?  Are there already rules in place that could be enforced?  I'll give an example:  one of the files I have has 45 vintage movies in it.  I really don't want all of them.  What if five of them are not on gaytorrent as individual files?  I wouldn't mind uploading each of them as separate files that other people might enjoy but since 100% of each file is already on the site would they be taken down?
5/ AS I said in the original message, I think the moderators already have enough work that they shouldn't have to do more.  If something gets flagged as a problem, and it clearly violates the rules, it can be taken down.  If the same person does it over and over and over and over they are likely causing other problems.

Duplicate torrents are a problem and demonstrate either sloppiness or deliberate rule-breaking.

To be fair about uploading duplicate movies.

I don't upload that much since virtually all of the movies I get are from here.  But I had uploaded a duplicate once - after having searched the site under the name of the movie, the name of each of the performers, and the name of the studio - there had been a previously uploaded file a few years before under a made up name with no information on the performers or the studio.

This has come up in a couple of different topics recently but merits its own discussion.

People can combine movies already available here in a collector's package.  People can take one or two movies from a large package and upload them separately.

First question, is this a loophole in the rules that should be closed?  Second question, is this something that is useful for the downloader?

Recently someone asked about uploading a file with around a 1,000 movies that might include underage.  He didn't want to go through the file that he was planning on uploading to know what was in it because 'who wants to bother checking the content of 1,000 movies.'  There are some enormous collections that are useful and other collections that are very repetitious.

Myself, I don't want to download a file with 11 movies I already have, plus ten movies I don't want, in order to get the one movie I do want.  If there is a single movie that doesn't exist elsewhere I'd be fine with someone else taking it from the large package in posting it as a separate file.  But I can see how that would be poaching.

On the other hand, some studios put out movie series that make sense to have as a single package.  It also can be useful to have all the movies with the same performer or the same director in a single file.

What are other people's thoughts on the ethics of this?

BTW, I think it's an unrealistic expectation for the already overworked and unpaid moderators to have yet more work in flagging a new category of problematic videos,

There are people who move from a stage of identifying as 'bi' before they come out as 'gay', but plenty of people who keep the identity of bi.  There are also people, most commonly women, who first identify of gay/lesbian then later realize that they're bisexual.

The wording of the original question implies that someone is dishonest in calling themselves bisexual.

I think that a WWIII isn't possible since the neccessary conditions for WWI and WWII no longer exist.  There were alliances that pulled in nation after nation until most of the world was involved.  The USA has effectively dismantled its relationship with NATO since 9.11.  Iran is a low to mid power who couldn't win a war against Saddam Hussein's Iraq.  There's no country that has treaties with Iran that would support it in a war.  China and Russia won't like the USA fighting so close to their borders but won't engage militarily.

To put it mildly Iran will not do well in a war against the USA.  But there will be a lot of harm done to the USA as well.

I'm still flabbergasted at the concept of (a) not bothering to go through a file to make sure you don't have anything obviously illegal on your home computer (b) posting a file that might have illegal stuff on it to the Internet.
Both cases I'd want to make sure.

As general manners:
1/  If you don't know the content don't upload it.
2/  If you upload something you're supposed to keep downloading it until there are 3 other seeders.
3/  Don't do massive dumps of questionable value.  The Torrent should have some coherency examples:  same studio and same year; same performer; same theme like "my collection of twinks topping bears"

Why don't you just pick out the ones you want to upload and just upload those?

The guys I know who had it done as adults had different experiences.

One guy had a medical problem that his foreskin wouldn't retract so it was painful for him to get an erection and he had recurrent infections.  For him it was a complete plus:  no pain when he got a hard-on (so he could have sex) and an end to the infections.

Different guys who got circumcised for religious reasons, mainly conversion to Judaism but also a German guy I knew who converted to Islam.  Most had a couple weeks of discomfort similar to getting a piercing.  Others had a loss of sensation that ended up equalling out.  Their head was less sensitive but they felt that sex was more satisfying since they could last longer.  But all of their circumcisions were done by doctors who specialized in circumcision.  (Mohels)

I've also heard of cases where the doctors did not have the skill/experience/training that had various negative results:  they remove part of the head, they cut into the shaft particularly one of the blood vessels, they leave too large a wound causing excess scarring or they don't provide the drugs to discourage erections during the healing process.

So, some advice you asked for and some advice you didn't ask for.

I'm Jewish and was circumcized when I was 8 days old.  I have a very sensitive penis.  Talking with guys who were circumsized when they were adults - there is a higher possibility of problems with pain and infection as an adult but as an adult you are better able to take care of yourself and be aware if there are problems.  If it's done by someone who is a trained specialist you shouldn't expect any loss of pleasure.

The advice you didn't ask for.  It's a red flag when a person you are in a relationship with is telling you that you are "too unclean to touch" until you change an aspect of your body.  Do not get circumcised/a tattoo/a piercing that you do not want to please someone else.

It will take me a couple of months to go through everything I downloaded.  The Freeleech was great.

I'm in the same situation, there's only one file left that hasn't been fully downloaded but three did not load during the Freeleech period.

So, I can tell you.  It doesn't matter that you clicked on them during the Freeleech.  Any part that downloads when the Freeleech is finished counts against the ratio.

Same thing as when it's a regular Freeleech.
