Perhaps it's the kid in me (no he is not available for privates) but I love this show!  In particular I am in love with the slave Grumio everything he says is so hilarious (to me) & just so deadpan.

When he nabs sacrificial meat from the temple for dinner & his is owner gets upset Grumio's response?  "The gods aren't hungry or, you know, real."

When he finds a baby in the trash:  "I named her Binny because that's where I found her & also I don't want her to forget where she came from."

The plebs' boss Flavia is hilarious & she should have her own show!

Plus there are some great gay bits.  One funny scene where guys are sticking their dicks into a wall & thinking it's women on the other side.  Another whole story line in an episode where the hot character, Stylax, gets a "patron".

The best tip I ever got was when your performing an enema (douching is for the vag) take in as much water as is comfortable & hold it in.  During the time your holding it in there will be 3 instances of "I can't hold this in, it's got to come out now" but try to hold it past them & then expel.  After that a cursory let's make sure everything is clear & I have been good to go for sessions that wear out my tops before I need to clean again.  The science behind it is your breaking everything up and expelling it all at once.  If you just put water in & let it out you could be there for hours without getting everything out.

Look if your sitting on the fence about watching the UK version I will personally refund you all the time you invest in it if you find it 'not up to snuff'.  It will not disappoint, well, what I mean to say is it is a very unique vision and certainly one of the most engrossing tales television has spun.

The mention of Reznor immediately soured me on the American version again.  I will keep an open mind and it's not that I don't like Trent's music (some I really like/some I never need to hear again) or David Fincher's work (Oh Father by Madonna one of my fave videos of all time) but I immediately see the new Utopia as some sort of Seven/Fight Club hybrid, the colour is not there, the uniqueness has been tarnished, in my mind.

Has there been any word on casting?  If they get Glenn Close to play Mr. Rabbit I am back on board!

I have been holding off on the last 2 episodes of season 2 just because I want to really enjoy it but now it will be bittersweet knowing it's ending on a cliffhanger & there won't be more  :crazy2:

For any Broadway fans out there wondering "Should I check out this Utopia?" it should be noted the creator, Dennis Kelly, won a Tony this year for Matilda the Musical.  Which, seemed incredibly odd to me.
