@duncanlem AKAIK they don't, but when a DMCA notice is received the site operators are probably required to take some sort of action against the individual that uploaded the file. This can happen in the background without ever divulging the member's details to the copyright owner. Perhaps it's a deal struck with the industry that stop them from bringing all they have against the site as a whole, but speculation is just pointless.

Once again, I'd say that the reason things happen the way they do is probably because they have to happen that way. Asking questions here yields no meaningful answers, and I assume that is also because it has to be that way. I'd suggest that we all just accept it and not try to delve too deep into something that is presumably there to protect both the site and its members.

@jujulette Every time somebody uploads a file and changes its name to something cryptic it utterly fucks all of us. People end up downloading things again and again believing them to be new material when in reality it's usually just an altered title or filename. It hurts ratios, takes up valuable storage space, makes things impossible to catalogue and worst of all these files propagate across multiple trackers to the point where the "real" file gets lost in the sands of time.

I'm in the process of tidying up my library, and in the last 2 days alone I've recovered over 300Gb of space across multiple drives where I've been able to identify identical files with misleading names. Some of them I've had 5 or more copies of them, all downloaded from different sites over the years.

Yes, it's annoying when files get DMCA hits, but I'd rather see a few of those disappear than end up with terabytes of rubbish. As @tnar said, if nobody can find it then what's the point of it staying here?

@jujulette That's a question that appears over and over again, and nobody has ever been given a definitive answer, I would postulate that there is a very good reason for this and the best approach is to simply accept it for what it is and try not to think about it.

@john32123666 When someone has read the rules and simply forgotten something I can forgive that. When someone hasn't read the rules thoroughly enough to know them properly, I can sort of forgive that. (There are quite a lot of them and it's not an easy read..)

But when someone clearly knows the rules and chooses to ignore them then they're just asking for it. Any torrent site is only as good as its uploads, and it seems to be worse now than it was a few years ago. People are getting lazy, and have no interest in quality uploads. They just want the ratio.

Let's hope that the mods have "explained" the rules to him.

@rice55 While you technically can post an upload request you can also expect the mods to lkill the thread and ban you from the whole site for doing so. My suggestion is that you don't. Request have been banned across the whole site for a long time now.

IIRC, 2 boyfriends are at home when Mark Fontana arrives. They start chatting, then one of the boyfriends goes for a shower, Meanwhile Mark and the other one start having sex. Unless they've actually advertised that they'll be doing anything together then no, you shouldn't be pissed off, but just being in a stream together promises nothing. You would also do well to remember that it's not just guys who watch these streams, and sometimes the content creators are making content for women. The fact that gay guys might watch is just a possible route to additional revenue. If gay guys are watching that doesn't mean the streamers are obliged to provide the type of content they want to see.
