Trump will never do that. His own wife spit all over Americans when she worked here illegally.
What are you saying Trump will never do? It's not clear to me from the context.

It used to be that black people were treated like garbage by the police in the USA. But, after several decades of struggling, and marching.. there is finally equality between blacks and whites! Yes! Now White people are also treated like garbage by the police.
Exactly my feeling, things are not as they were but they are being reported by the media as though the situation throughout the US is as it was back in the 60's. A black man shooting up a church doesn't fit this narrative and so isn't reported but when a white man does it's all people talk about.
The bias in only reporting white on black crime creates ratings and makes people see the world as it isn't – racist to the core.
I get it, he lived the straight man's dream – but not the straight woman's.
Can you imagine a 70, 80, or 90-year-old man trying to bed you? :puke:
Fine, he made a magazine but that magazine later failed and he wasn't able to stay in tune with the times, so I don't see much to ccelebratein him. What am I missing?
The Steeler's president issued an explanation/apology saying that the action of not walking onto the pitch was misunderstood. Not participating was supposed to be the teams not taking a stand on the knee issue.
Thoughts? Should we take him at his word?
Sounds to me like he realized he made a huge mistake and is trying to walk it back by not accepting responsibility.
So he is going to solve healthcare with an executive order? You are ok with this?
We have been over this. "Selling across state lines" isn't a real concept. It's dead on arrival. Doctors won't do it. Insurers won't do it. It's not going to happen.
Trump signing an executive order is a genius move: If the order is overturned he can fault whichever branch or judiciary strikes it down (the members of which will be democratic). If the insurance companies challenge it in court, they become even more the villain. If it sticks, then Trump is seen as a hero to his base.
We've already seen this play with the EO excluding people from – What was it? -- nine Muslim majority countries. The base loved him for it, the opposition used it as fuel against him.
So is affirmative action still a thing? I learned recently about the point system in the SAT scores. (sigh – What happened to pulling yourself up by the bootstraps?) Anyway, it sounds like the fix to your problem in employment is to eliminate the affirmative action policies.
As for the NFL, perhaps most of the black protesters are boycotting because they, themselves have seen black people getting shot by cops first hand; or they feel racism because the media covers cop on black violence but not cop on white.
The rest of the people who are protesting are, in my opinion, reacting to Trump and doing what they see as politically smart in the short-term: Everyone has begun to kneel, so I should kneel, too. Mistake. Big mistake. That just leads to people in pink hats feeling smart but looking like pussies.
I think what you feel from your experiences, that is the discrimination you as a white person have personally experienced is different than the bigotry the average black person feels and that both blacks and whites are mischaracterizing what happens to them as racist. To cure a cancer you have to know exactly what kind it is. Applying a general cureall will end up killing the patient. So it is with social problems. Identifying exactly where the problems are is the key to removing the dis-ease. Would you agree?
A lot of Specfic films are poorly advertised due to stereotyping.
One that jumps to mind - I know a bunch of people who went to see Arrival with certain expectations. (It's an alien invasion movie costarring Jeremy Renner.) It's about linguistics and the complexity of life.
You're right, but the misdirect for Mother was nearer to Lady On The Lake. Both were marketed as horror, so that fanbase went to see it. LOTL is kind of a fairy tale but Mother is an art film. Of course, people are going to be pissed and not understand what's going on.
Over here in Japan Wonder Woman opened a few weeks ago. It was mis-advertised as a love story. A love story! I was indignant (huge comic book fan here). They even tied Nozomi 48 (an all-girl pop sugar-sweet pop group) to the film and its marketing.
Wonder Woman bombed here.
Forget the patriarchy. Down with the marketing department!
Take the non-tax payers out of the system – no more illegal immigrants eating up services.
This would put us all in danger. Do you really want immigrants running around with contagious diseases? We will all be sick…..
I want to cut ILLEGAL immigration to zero. Honestly, I'm not pro-wall, but not against the government building one, either. (I always thought a workers exchange program would protect the peoples crossing the border, something like they had in the 50's.) So what I mean is that illegal immigrants should not have access to health care unless they pay for it. If some US citizens get sick, that might incentivize voters to push for stricter border control.
My father's family immigrated to the US from Portugal between the 50's and 60's. Once one member was in, the whole family, all 13 brothers and sisters, their wives and children, were allowed it. I love my family but I recognize that they took advantage of a great kindness extended by the US as those older aunts and uncles needed a lot of medical care when they came over – a lot. Because of SSI, Medical, Medicaid their health care was all free. These people were in the US legally, so if you tack on the illegals the cost to tax payers grows even more.
In my families case, every single child (all of my cousins) pay taxes. A good many started their own companies, too. But illegal immigrants don't pay anything into the system, so they should be excluded, cold-hearted as that may sound.
@Frederik, I work at an international high school in Japan. Once a year they take our second year students (eleventh grade US) abroad. The students used to be taken to Los Angeles. A few years back, a few of the girls snuck out of the hotel and somehow got booze. The next morning they had their first hangover. Japan being Japan, they took them to the hospital for an IV and to double check that they were okay. The hospital didn't recognize the Japanese health insurance and demanded 5000USD up front to even see them.
The teachers paid the money (and were later reimbursed through Japanese health care) and the fees took all that money.
The board of education canceled all school trips to the US, permanently. If schools go there now, they are private.
I could go on and on, but I'll just summarize by saying that I expected the Defenders to wash away the disappointment I felt with the non-Daredevil shows. It didn't. I'll still watch them when they come out, but I'll no longer look forward to them.
Preach, brother, preach!
Everything you said and more, The Defenders was one of the biggest disappointments in 2017 and after a four-year build up a monumental failure.
Not sure if that was a statement for or against, but this person isn't into any soccer, football, or basketball – volleyall is another matter.
TPBM has never been outside his or her country.
You are though an American now and you should feel blessed according to Mr. Trump!
::)
Nay, according to every American.
I'm lucky enough to be born at a time when I can choose where to live and when there are excellent options available. ;D
Mother. 8/10
Don't believe the rotten reviews. Mother is an art film, a good one that is knowingly pretentious, that was mismarketed as a horror film. I'm glad that audiences are loudly protesting against the flim (and that it's flopping) so that whoever distributed it will learn from this mistake. Mother took in eight million dollars off a 150 million budget (plus marketing).
The film is a multi-level allegory. The obvious one is that it plays as the first few books of The Bible plus Revelations but there are other surprises mixed it. There's a wicked sense of humor interwoven within the plot that people aren't talking about – the film is funny. It's also unnerving.
If you like art house cinema pick it up on DVD.
There are a few interesting roads out from your post.
It is unfair that the SAT's add and subtract points based on race. Racist? We'd have to state exactly how we're defining that term.
Are people suddenly on their knee to protest police violence or are they on their knee to indirectly protest Trump? It feels like the latter, at least from what's happened this past weekend – and sheep follow.
I know you're not suggesting affirmative action in sports but it would be interesting to see how that would play out. As it is already, a person of color who holds a job or place in university simultaneously earned it and was given it as charity. You can't square that circle. Sport is one of the few areas where black people earned their position (to the exclusion of whites).
The real issue is that no one is fixing the health care system. For some people charging $99 for a $8 case of water is "price gouging" yet charging $800 for an $8 bag of saline is "healthcare". How to fix it:
Get the lobbyists out of Washingon by draining the swamp.
Don't make health insurance a for-profit business. Treat it like a utility.
Incentive doctors and hospitals for healthy patients. The profit is in keeping them sick and pill-addicted.
Take the non-tax payers out of the system – no more illegal immigrants eating up services.
The Republican Party doesn't want the Federal government involved in health care, nor for it to be a right; the Democratic Party sees the federal government as the great protector and demands people get free healthcare even when The People haven't earned it. There's a compromise between the two where the Federal government fixes the prices the pharmaceutical companies charge by purchasing their services in bulk and giving the citizens the option to join or not join with their premiums being lower the longer they're in the program. Join when you're 65, get rapped. Join when your 21, by the time your 65 your premiums will not go up much because you've paid into the system.
Geeze, send me to Washington, already.
I guess I'm judgemental.
I look at the tattoos, think about the choice of profession and think he's not the best at making long-term life choices. Then I think, he's probably not going to be able to say much that's interesting for me. Meh, he nice to look at but there are bigger dicks in the sea.
Aaron Carter has come out as bisexual.
Or rather, Aaron Carter has confirmed that he is bisexual.
(Quickly Googles Aaron Carter.)
:afr:
Hmmm. The straight community can have him. I'm good.
;D
I've heard that it could be bad to shower everyday
pft!
Who told you that? I bathe two to three times every day: A quick shower when I wake up, a long bath after I get home from work, and when I work out I have a shower right after.
I might be a nasty boy but I'm clean as f###.
who like to eat cum?
Me, me, me, me.
You didn't even get into snowballing – it's fucking hot. Three boys, omg, the erotic things you can do with it.
Would you agree with the message of the following t-shirt
It depends on the context.
At work, most of us are just interchangeable cogs – the world will go on without us. Sometimes there's a Steve Jobs, dick he was, who do seem to make a difference.
