Whenever evaluating a dispute, one should look at both sides of the issue.  Far too often, there is a rush to judgement which favors the most obvious explanations. 
Anyway.. while I am sure that there are hollywood moguls who use their power to get sex (Bill Cosby for example), I am sure that there have been many actresses who have seduced  powerful movie makers to get cast in movies, etc.   (Madonna for example - who married Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie).

I think I'm the last American who believes in Bill Cosby.

Cosby was convicted because a whole lot of women came forward with similar stories but no proof outside from their word. We saw something similar after Pussy Gate. Everything I read about Cosby's case suggests his case is at the intersection of pissing off the black community for telling them to be better and the idea that every woman must be believed no matter what.

Why are you sold on Rapist Bill, excuse me, not that Bill, Rapist Cosby?

The Flash is my favorite TV show based on a comic book – I just love it. It was the first live-action media to explore the multiverse, it's layered with fun references, the characters are well drawn and easy to love (or hate).

I came of age in the Fairfax district of LA. Lots of Ultra-Orthodox Jews. Many of my friends were Jewish back then. (nostalgic for kugel atm)

Living most of the year in South Florida, I'd say there's no "dominant religion."  Perhaps of note, we have a sizable Jewish population, and they are very supportive of gay issues.

In WeHo and SanFran the gays live in close proximity to the Jews. Is that the same in Fl? It always struck me as a funny happenstance.

Weinstein was OK.. but then became corrupted by hanging around deplorable crooked Hillary.

He was a sleaze long before he met them. I lived in Hollywood. Film was my major and so I did a lot of internships. The rumors in office/set were always that you could use sex to advance with certain people. Brian Singer was often talked about in the club scene way back in the 90's, too. This doesn't surprise me. I'm wondering who had the balls to start this – that man has a lot of power.

I don't think it's racist to point out that many crime syndicates are formed along ethnic, racial and/or religious lines.  From that perspective, do Asians/Muslims represent a higher proportion of all known child-sex trafficking gangs?  I'd like to see some research data (in this case, for England) to figure that out.  Anyone?

I heard about this for the first time while listening to an episode of Sam Harri's podcast (one of the best podcasters out there, imho). The person he interviewed echoed what raphjd said below, that the perpetrators were largely from Pakistan and the rest immigrants from other muslim majority countries.

My own assumption is that how Muslims (especially men) view women and sex is antithetical to the west. An analogous example is clitorectomies and female circumcisions. Christians don't do this. Caucasians don't do this. The idea that a woman should be mutilated comes from a certain reading of the Koran and therefore the perpetrators can only be Muslim – and that is neither racist (Islam is not a race), nor Islamaphobic.

Are there studies? I wonder. There's a lot of resistance in analyzing people by race and religion. To me, it's common sense and a good reason to limit immigration from these countries.

Baby Driver (2017)

To be honest, I'm not really into car or car chasing movies, but I like the idea surrounded by this Baby driver. I like the story, almost original. And I was curious also about some big Oscar winner in the movie, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey, they good with exceptional acting Kevin Spacey always do.

Its entertaining. The one that I don't like is the Buddy character at the last quarter of the movie. He was suddenly managed to escape and confront the Baby.
