I confess I had to look 'luelinks' up

I confess I had to look 'luelinks' up
And :hiya: to you. Don't be a stranger. I look forward to seeing you around
Thanks for the tip. I hadn't thought of doing it that way.
I move the whole torrent into a new location. Then I right-click on the torrent in the main window and choose Advanced/Set Download Location and then point to the new location. You may have to 'start' the torrent again.
Another thing to remember is that you can choose the download location before you start downloading. A lot of people seem to have a default download folder in uTorrent. I don't I choose the folder each time I download. If you click on the arrow at the right of the save as dialog you will get a list of recent folders and you can always go into Explore mode by ysing the little box with … on
A couple more links I read today. Microsoft seem so 'anal' when they want to control everything. Maybe if they just produced a good OS and stopped trying to take over my computer they might get back into profit.
I think I will stick to Win7 as long as it works then it will be Linux in seriousness rather than just the messing around I've done so far.
Windows 10 release date: When is Microsoft’s free upgrade available?
I'm sorry, but then I did make that list quite a few years back.
I'm not quite sure I know what you a looking for. I assumed it was porn with a plot. You seem to want something beyond that.
As far as I can see the 'browse' uses icons in the same way that 'search' uses tick boxes and they both work in the same way.
Tick a category or categories in 'search' and it will only search in those categories for your keyword(s)
By clicking on one or more icons in 'browse' you do a similar search.
Or have I misunderstood you?
My Phone only makes phone calls and texts…and then not very often.
Am I missing something...
It does not matter whether a torrent shows as a download, completed or seeding, any data, up or down, will count towards your ratio.
So if halfway through a download you decide to stop, any data transferred (again up or down) will still count on your ratio.
As Pawpcorn explained above if you choose to download just some of a torrent (perhaps it is a huge torrent and you only want one part or you always uncheck pictures) you will always be a downloader to the tracker, never a seeder. But again any data you upload in helping to seed will be added to you upload total.
The most usual reason for your ratio not to increase is that you have a chosen a torrent that no-one wants to download just now. It may be old, it may be unpopular but for any number of reasons you could be sitting there with no downloaders. But even then you are earning seed points which you can swap for upload if you want. So all is not lost
That's why I'm not a Mod…I just saw on his profile that he had invites so I assumed he could use them. I hope I haven't spoiled anything.
omar, I see you have some invites. If you invite a friend you get some added gigs to your ratio

Windows 10: updates will be mandatory for home users
Some people like to have control over updates…like me who hasn't updated his version of Win7 since it came out... :crazy2:
The interface is quite like Win7 BUT the whole thing is very intrusive. By default you allow Microsoft to do anything it wants, up to and including killing your first born.
By default Cortana is active which is fine if you like computers which nag you. I don't. I don't think I will upgrade. Users of Win8 may find an improvement, I have never used that.
If you do decide to upgrade my advice is to install it on a different machine or make sure you have backups/images to return to your previous OS if you want to.
Your ratio seems to be back on track…just
To check your bonus, leave a torrent seeding for 24 hours. It doesn't matter if anyone is downloading from you but you should get a bonus of 12 points just for being there.
Without more information about what exactly you have lost, it's difficult to know.
I have to assume that a system restore wouldn't work and you don't have a backup of your uTorrent folder. It might be worth doing a search on your hard disk for all files with the .torrent extension to see what might still be there.
I am assuming that you still have all the file downloads, partial or complete, in your download location.
If so all you need to do is download the small torrent file again. Open it as normal and point your torrent client to where the downloads have been saved. The torrent client will check what you have already and then carry on where it left off.
If you can give more information about what has been deleted (just torrent files, downloaded movies etc, the whole folder) it might be easier to offer advice.
:hiya: hope you have fun here. Lots of help around if you get stuck
Stumbled across this the other day The Top 175 Essential Films of All Time for LGBT Viewers | Advocate.com
I thought it interesting to compare
the only thing is now my downloaded raito is not changing, its stuck at 8g
an one of those freelech was like 10g so supposedly it should be somenthing about 18g right
If you are downloading freeleech your download total won't change, freeleech downloads don't count, just the upload. That is how you get your ratio up
