The system probably is ridiculous but that is the rule when you join. I really feel after just a day you haven't given it a chance.

First, take it gently. Don't go mad and get your download disabled. Yours isn't. You can download new files, just be careful to start.

If you can, leave all your downloads seeding. I have often come to my computer in the morning to find I've seeded a lot because someone has picked up on something I downloaded months ago.

Build up your ratio with popular torrents or freeleech torrents. And build up your seed bonus by posting in the forums, adding pictures (no need to have downloaded the torrent), voting on what you have downloaded.

And the biggest boost? Post your own torrents

Strikes me that your options are limited. And as you lost all your porn, you probably have time on your hands… 

With hide.me you have to sign up for a plan. There is a free plan that you need to renew every month. On a speed test it cuts my download speed to one quarter of the maximum, that is from 100Mb/s to 25Mb/s.

I use it to log onto sites that are blocked by my ISP (UK court order), grab the torrent(s) I want. I then quit hide.me and download torrents as I usually do.

PS have just tried the hide.me proxy and it works. I might not bother to renew my free plan

It can be frustrating and I have no answer.

But it is amazing sometimes how much info you can get by just looking at the file name that is being posted. I have seen torrents titled 'Twinks Fucking' where the file name gave the studio, names and much more.

And there should be barely a torrent which has been downloaded that doesn't have pictures. Once you have downloaded a file, it is child's play to make thumbnails and upload them. All anonymously and with added bonus points

London Spy (3 clips) was broadcast with so little fanfare I forgot to record it on Monday. I caught up with it on BBC iPlayer this afternoon (not available outside UK unless you use VPN).  It has a very gay plot!

I enjoyed it and will be staying with it.

It is available on Extra Torrent and TPB (and soon on usenet, I think)

My memory only goes back as far as the Crimean War… But I seem to recall HJSplit was a bad program. I may be wrong but it did cause problems.

The one I used to use was JAS, just another splitter. It became very hard to get the correct version and after people really started using QickPar/PAR2 to check integrity and rejoin, JAS fell out of fashion.

I've just done a search for JAS and it seems to have fallen into the big black hole.

Sorry to hear your woes but my advice is never give up until you are absolutely certain.

But you now have a project replacing your stuff
