Same here. My advice: just be patient, leave torrents seeding and things will probably sort themselves out. Or not….

Some torrents come and go. Most of mine here are now seeding. Still some catching up to do but there's not much I can do from here.

In passing if you open a torrent file in any text editor the first line contains the name of the site.

A very slim hope if you use uTorrent and when you remove a torrent from your list you DON'T say 'delete torrent' as well you may find a list of opened torrents in C:\Users_yourusername_\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent if you are using Windows.

But I'm thinking this is a lot of work…

Simplest way to get round this, if you don't want the rest of the files in any torrent, is just to stop the downloads

Seeding 101 (no, I have no idea what that means but I believe it is a US term for beginners, please).

Seeding is something you haven't done and I don't know why.

The general term means that you are sharing stuff on your hard drive with people trying to download the file in a torrent.

It comes in two basic flavours. When you post a torrent as the original uploader you seed the torrent until there is enough information shared among the downloaders that everyone can complete (please don't ask).

Now we come to you. If you, as a downloader, have grabbed the complete file(s) you become a seeder if you leave your torrent client running with that torrent. In other words, don't just stop things because you have a complete file, there are others in the queue waiting for what you have.

Just to complicate things a little, all the while you are downloading you should (if you have your settings right) also be passing on (seeding) pieces to other downloaders.

You have managed to download 529MB without anyone wanting anything from you. Not a capital offence but enough to get your download rights disabled if you don't allow people to have a share of what you downloaded.

Try restarting your download stuff in your client so that it shows as 'seeding'.

If you report a duplicate you need to wait for the staff to have time to check. Depending how busy they are it could be a few days.

If you don't receive a message then they probably haven't judged it a duplicate.

If you still think there is a duplicate you can report it again. If it is still in the 'in tray' you will get a message that you already reported it.

Sadly you can only get the last 250 downloads. The system doesn't keep older records

I'm not sure I follow you but there is no need to download anything. The only rule is that if you do download then you must share a proportion back for others to share. That is why you need to keep seeding those torrents you have downloaded.

Yup, just make sure you are seeding what you have downloaded. Don't worry if no-one downloads from you all the time.

Sorry, I knew I hadn't explained it very well.

On this site, like many others you need to keep a ratio, that is you must share what you have downloaded with others. If you don't keep a sufficient ratio you lose your right to download the new movies (but you are not kicked out of the club :)).

If you go to your profile via the link in the top left corner under the blue line you will see what you are expected to do. It can be difficult when you start out.

You do not have to upload your own files, although that is always very welcome and is a good way to increase your ratio.

What I meant in the message was, once you have completed your download, DON'T stop your torrent running. Just leave it running in the background if you can and it will seed to others downloading the same file and increase your upload credit

Lollyboy, I see you have worked out that you don't download movies from here. You grab a torrent and and open it in a torrent client. uTorrent is about the easiest.

Now you have your first download, you need to keep an eye on your ratio. It is very easy at the start to download all sorts of things and forget that this site has rules that you have to share back.

The easiest way is just to keep your torrent running once you have finished downloading, letting others seed from you.

Although why you would 'spend' 250 points on an invite you can't use is odd. Especially as you get 4 'free' ones when you become a Power User and so can use them …

The torrent you request? Entirely depends on the other members.

But you should be able to see the Request Forum now

When it asks where you want to save it you must point it at the file you already have on your hard disk. Then the torrent client will check it and if it is OK will start seeding.

You can stop the torrent, delete it and start again making sure you point to the exact same file. If it starts downloading, you haven't pointed it to the same file

I'm afraid I know no gay kissing scenes with Jeff Stryker, he may do that in his straight movies but I know nothing about them

Hi, I'm not quite sure when you say 'deleted my tracker'.

The tracker is the software that keeps, erm, a track of what you are doing. You shouldn't need to do anything with it.

Don't forget that nothing will happen if there is no-one who wants your file or there are better alternatives for uTorrent to choose.

If a particular torrent in your list isn't doing what you think it should, you can remove it from the list and remove the torrent (do NOT remove the data). Grab another copy of the torrent file from here and open it, point it to the data/file/folder you are trying to seed and it should start seeding. Remember seeding is not the same as sharing, seeding just means you are standing on the street corner and available

I am not sure if any of that is helpful. If you feel that there is something going missing you can always contact the Helpdesk and ask a staff member. Give them as much information as you can.
