I'm in the UK and I have only taken a PC in for repair once and I changed the hard drive before I took it in.

I cannot see the likes of PCWorld reporting you for downloading torrents. They keep an eye out for illegal images/movies.

Actually half the people at somewhere like PC World (nemesis of Gary Glitter) probably wouldn't know it came from a torrent site anyway.

But ultimately I couldn't give you firm advice on what to do. But if it comes to the worst I could visit you with a file (no, not that sort of file) in a cake

I've had the same upload removed twice now, in spite of its 15-16% difference in file size of that of the original.

But do we we really need a multitude of different file sizes and formats of the same movie, over and over again.

To my mind there are two possibilities, a full DVD post, a decent non-DVD post. I realise that some people like the tweaks of other posts but type 'scandal vatican' for instance into the search box. Do we really need 44 different posts?

I would be wary of taking any computer for repair that held anything other than an empty hard drive. With a laptop that is difficult. And you can't even access the drive to wipe it.

I declare a disinterest - I didn't vote, I gagged at both sides in our referendum.

But what is really annoying in this country is that it is assumed that 17,000,000 people voted the way they did because they were the unwashed, the ignorant, the uneducated, the poor, the old, the racist, the fascist. Nobody could have voted because they saw the EU as a sclerotic, anti-democratic oligarchy who had blighted the lives of so many people especially in the like of Spain and Greece.

Of all the nonsense I have read and heard over the last few days, that about takes the biscuit.

I believe gay marriage was also responsible for floods, the plague of frogs and the slaughter of the first born.
