I hope this isn't getting too off-topic but in my experience if you use Media Player Classic to make thumbnails 6 across x 6 down at about 1500 pixels wide it gives a good size picture on this site

I suspect I know, or should know, the answer to this.

I'm lucky that my ratio is above requirements.

I usually seed to around the 1.0 mark.. because that's what we do.

My question is if I seed to a lot more than that do I stop someone improving their ratio. Does my excess mean there is less sharing for other people?

Logic suggests that if I 'over-seed' someone else's post, I'm being selfish. Not much I can do about my own posts.

And with that conundrum, I will get back in my box

Both your and bjk's suggestions have their merits, I'm not sure you're going to manage to reach/satisfy everyone.

Perhaps a compromise would be:

English |subs: French (soft) German (hard)|

French |subs: Tagalog (hard) |

If downloaders can't understand any of the suggestions, perhaps they should not be downloading foreign movies :giggle:

And there is absolutely no need to put the alternative languages in both English and the native language - even I can understand one or the other

And there is always the comment box if people have a query… OK, that's taking things too far
