      NOPE!!!

Over the last several years we have seen the proof that certain groups are exempt from the laws that the rest of us must follow.

When certain groups do it, it's "mostly peaceful protests" or "the summer of love".

Silly man - you are equating selective enforcement (e.g.: when the cops let people drive by going 10 miles-per-hour OVER the speed limit and don't move to ticket them) with it being acceptable or legal.

Whether the cops or district attorneys choose to prosecute or not, it's still illegal!

If you want a perfect system, move to China! (Just ask them! It's perfect!)

But it's not criminal or even wrong when certain groups do it.

      No, it is ...

      ALWAYS

wrong to resort to violence... (unless you are responding to a violent attack)...

Whether it is prosecuted is another matter...

175 cars speeding on the highway, and the cop pulls YOU over...
that doesn't mean it was OK for the others to speed!

... and unless the cop that pulls you over is your ex-significant other or something, you still have to pay the fine... selective enforcement isn't fair, but its not illegal either (unless it is targeted)!

Sigh... there are no absolutes in the law 🙂 (There's always an "unless"...)

It's illegal to yell FIRE in a crowded room...

Unless there is an actual fire! 🙂

In order to keep ourselves sane,

There is no societal (overall) benefit to requiring other people to change to help you retain (or regain) your sanity... Sadly, in current-day America, there is precious little help for you if this isn't hyperbole and you really are having trouble with your sanity.

In America today, the primary source of mental health care is the prison system. Just sad (even disgraceful).

the easiest way to explain this is, anyone on the far left side (or even "moderately left") are fucking insane.

A healthy, broad-based, Political Diaspora is/was the dream of our founding fathers. Everyone agreeing is a sure-sign of tyrany!

It's about America being fucking stupid and can't think for themselves.

Hmmm... someone else doing the thinking for you...

      Tyrany!

I can't see this bullshit being corrected without American citizens having a serious physical battle to take America back from these insane fucks.

There is nothing to correct - this is America, and people are allowed to be stupid! It's a free country!

      • You are allowed to believe that Trump won the election and it was stolen from him - in spite of there being no evidence to support that claim...
      • You are allowed to believe that the Earth is flat because it says so in the Bible - even though that depends on whose Bible you look at (even ancient ones do NOT claim this), and is it demonstrably true that Earth is a globe...
      • You are allowed to believe that all Democrats are pedophiles that actually eat (consume) children, even though this is farcical - registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans... there aren't enough children to actually feed that many people!
      • You are allowed to believe that that vacuum advertised on TV at 3AM really CAN suck a bowling ball through a garden hose, even though the videos clearly are faked...
      • You are allowed to run ads at 3AM on TV selling a piece-of-shit vacuum that couldn't suck hard enough to pull a Pepsi through a straw, but claim it can suck a bowling ball through a garden hose!

Take the politics/religion out, or insert politics/religion into it - it's a still free country, and ...

until you get violent or threaten others

you are free to believe anything you wish, and to evangelize those beliefs to others!

However, when you physically threaten, much less actually carry out, violence against others because of their beliefs, you've crossed a line into criminal behavior.

Liberals love it when businesses crap all over conservatives; ie big tech.

Not surprisingly, they get butt hurt when businesses use the same rights against liberals.

There's a private membership gay/bi men's campground. They do not allow people who identify as women, nor do they allow people who identify as male but don't have a penis.

Liberals claim it's transphobia and they should be forced to allow men with vaginas. Oddly, they aren't claiming that women should be allowed.

Anyone care to explain why liberals have no problem with "Twitter is a private company, so they can set their own rules" but they don't believe the same applies to all businesses?

I saw that story and wrote a comment on the site where I saw it. To wit:

It's a private business and they can exclude anyone they want, but:

      • It's generally bad for business when your largest media coverage about your opening is who you DON'T want for clients, and
      • The intent of the business (according to their own marketing) is to be a gay-friendly nudist RV resort.... only thing is, nudist resorts are generally already gay-friendly! True nudists do not associate naked bodies with sex!

      The end result is:

      • LGBTQ activists won't go because they're discriminating against trans people...
      • Nudists won't go because they're sexualizing nudity.

      Who's left for your customers?

I have always used WD external hard drives and so far I have not had any problem with them. Actually I have not lost info from them ever (so far!).

Hard drives are like cars.... some can last 500,000 miles, where the next one off the line couldn't make it to 100,000...

Just know this: 100% of hard drives eventually fail!

Take it from an IT professional!

I built my NAS device with 4 6TB drives (about 18TB total storage) about 4 years ago - one of the 6TB drives failed after about a year... its replacement and the other 3 are still going strong! BUT: I have a spare sitting on top of the unit for when the next one starts to fail... I don't like risking my data!

(NO, that's not my PORN drive, that's my WORK drive!) My porn is kept on a different NAS device populated with left-over 3TB drives taken from a series of servers I decommissioned years ago... I still have about 4 or 5 of these "left-over" drives to use as spares as the ones in the current unit fail).

I love it when my lover cums inside me, and then keeps going! The feel of cum-as-lube is very different! If he can't keep going (most can't), at least leave it in there while you go soft!

      @raphjd

The police did not smell alcohol on him, nor did he seem impaired.

You are incapable of looking at historical facts in historical context, aren't you. I've already explained this:

      • The accident happened in 1972
      • MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) - one of the FIRST to begin to crusade against impaired driving, and to increase the penalties for it - was founded in 1980.
      • For the time, he'd have to have been falling-down-drunk for the police to have attributed the accident to drunk-driving, and there wasn't any "special penalty" for it, either!
      • What DID exist in 1972 was a predisposed belief that women were poor drivers.

... even you admitted they didn't do a breathalyzer or draw blood back then.

This is true... they could have flown in a prototype breathalyzer from the UK or Germany at the time... it would have taken a cargo plane and a small (larger than a pickup) truck to get them there, not to mention a couple of days to pack up all the components! My guess is, they didn't do that because it was Joe Biden, and they knew the husband of the woman killed in the accident would one-day become President!

As for drawing blood, to what end? There were no "special penalties" for driving drunk back then! In fact, if the police pulled you over for drunk driving, they'd impound your car for 24-hours and put you in a special cell they had in jail: the "drunk tank" - where you'd sober up and they'd release you! Worst you'd get would be a citation for public intoxication!

[For a reference, check out the fantastic Alfred Hitchcock film North by Northwest Cary Grant's character is involved in a crash as he was intentionally made quite drunk by the "bad guys" - and the police lock him up in the "drunk tank", releasing his into the care of his mother the next morning - a Hitchcock flair, as Grant's character was clearly in his 30's)

His wife was deemed at fault for being "inattentive".

I haven't made any claims about who was at fault, and I'm not sure any police report of the time would have termed it that way. Back then, they often tried to make sure accidents were just that: accidents! They wouldn't list "fault", rather they would list contributing factors. It was because of the way insurance was written back then....

Just because his wife and infant daughter died in the accident, does not give him the right to lie about the truck driver for 50 years.

Look, if he was going around saying "It's been 40 years, but I'm still pissed at Bill Smith of 1234 Main Street, Dover, DE who killed my wife and child while driving drunk in 1972" that'd be one thing... but if the man - regardless of the lack of proof (because it wasn't taken back then) - believes the other driver was impaired, so be it.

He's not on a campaign to slander the other driver (who can't prove he wasn't drunk, either! There's no proof either way, so its he-says/he-says)... in fact, he's not even on a campaign against drunk driving! He's trying to relate his own personal loss to the loss of 100's of thousands of families - survivors - who have lost loved ones to COVID-19.

Your inability to see that, and to have some level of empathy for all those who have lost loved ones in this pandemic, says a lot about you, and nothing about Biden.

Only a piece of garbage would think it's ok for someone to use their bully pulpit to ruin someone's life based on lies.

As noted above: the speech wasn't about the accident, wasn't even about drunk driving... it was about sharing the sense of loss, about empathizing with people who are in mourning.

I'm going to leave the "piece of garbage" part of your comment to others to evaluate...

You brought up "pathological liar" due to your TDS, then defend a pathological liar.

Joe Biden will, no doubt, lie in his term in office... they all do... but he's got a long way to go before he reaches the mountain-top in that department. Donald Trump lied more in his first 2-days in office than Biden has in 30+... and he wasn't even trying! LOL

So, what's say we close up this rabbit hole - this trip into your Wonderland of deflection - and get back to the post itself:

Mike Lindell is going to have to spend 1/2 his fortune on lawyers, another half on advertising to save his now-foundering company, and give the other half to the voting machine companies for slandering them....

oh wait! That's too many halves! Oh no! He's bankrupt! Well, now his bank account will look like his morals!

Maybe Donald Trump should have pardoned him? (OOPS! This is CIVIL court! There are no pardons in CIVIL law!)

Or, maybe Donald Trump will give him $millions to bail him out? NOPE! He'll call him a LOSER and distance himself from him as fast as a hummingbird's wings can flap! Because that's the kind of man he is!

@raphjd said in Florida joins CA, NY, & TX with Governors under investigation:

      @bi4smooth

I'm not seeing that anyone other than Cuomo is under investigation for C-19 related issues.

I see that other governors are under investigation for other things, like taxes, election campaign funding, etc, etc.

I also see that many, many other politicians are under investigation for various things.

Florida's Governor is under investigation for corrupt COVID-19 vaccination allocations (choosing wealthy zip codes for "pop-up vaccination sites" vs allowing them to be chosen at random, and allowing wealthy donors to be put onto "VIP lists" - allowing them to cut in line vs 1st-come/1st served)

But that wasn't the point - I never said this was a posting about COVID-19! It's about the 4 largest States' Governors all under investigation - mostly bipartisan investigation - for malfeasance (CA & TX) or corruption (FL & NY)... endangering all 4 of their what-would-have-been-safe re-election campaigns.

Requiring national party money to prop-up the re-election campaigns of embattled Governors takes away needed money for "battleground" congressional districts - which will be higher in number, and even more unpredictable in many cases due to redistricting!

(Rather than re-litigate the past, or wring my hands about the present, I'm looking to the future! Political battles are won by predicting the future electorate and planning/preparing for it!)

In Florida (where I live), Republicans consistently are outnumbered in counts of registered voters who choose a party. Usually by wide margins! Yet, in this State where the raw numbers would say we'd have a tough time winning elections, we (Republicans) nearly always win! Why? Because we prepare for the next election WELL BEFORE there are even any candidates in the election! We've controlled the State Legislature and a majority of the State-wide offices for DECADES -- in spite of being the minority party in terms of registered voters! It ain't 'cause we're pretty! LOL

      @zellwes2

Rule 1: All hard drives fail. ALL OF THEM!
Rule 2: 100% of hard drives fail. ALL OF THEM!
Rule 3: ALL hard drives fail. ALL OF THEM!

The only way to protect your data locally is by using something called RAID (it's a computer acronym for Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks). While there are DAS (Direct-Attached-Storage) RAID devices, unless it's USB 3, I would go with a NAS (Network-Attached-Storage) device. The issue is SPEED. (You can also backup your data [porn collection?] in the cloud, but that's a monthly cost...)

There are low-end NAS RAID arrays out there for $200-300. I have used inexpensive models from QNAP and Synology - both have worked well for me and my clients. (My own porn collection is on a QNAP 4-drive NAS device).

      But, a few caveats:

      • There is a considerable up-front cost to a RAID device: the RAID box itself doesn't have any storage (drives), so you have to "populate" the box with hard drives... multiple drives!
      • You have to routinely check the system to ensure that the inevitable drive failures are detected and the failing/failed devices are replaced quickly.

So some quick computerese technology stuff... There are multiple "levels" of RAID:

      • RAID 0 simply spreads your data across multiple drives, but offers NO PROTECTION! (if ONE drive fails, you may lose ALL of your data!) -- NOT RECOMMENDED!
      • RAID 1 (called a mirror) copies whatever is on one disk to a 2nd disk. Thus, if you lose a disk, there is a complete copy right there! (BEST PROTECTION, HIGHEST COST: buy 2 4TB drives and store up to 4TB of data!)
      • RAID 5 (most common) spreads your data across all of your drives, but sets aside storage too for a "checksum". The amount of storage "lost" for the checksum is determined by the number of drives in the array: use just 3 drives, and you lose 1/3 of the raw storage to data protection.

The most common small-business (or, in my case personal) array is a 4-drive unit, with all 4 drives populated. Assume you purchase 4 5TB drives... you will store data on 3/4 of the total storage area, and 1/4 will be used for data protection. The math, then, is that your 4 5TB drives will allow you to store AND PROTECT 15TB of data (the last 5TB of data is used to provide protection).

Now, you can see why there is a large up-front cost:

      • $200-300 for the RAID device
      • $100 EACH for 4TB Seagate IronWolf drives TIMES 4!

      That's $600-700!

BUT, if you make that investment, you won't ever have to start over again (so long as you keep an eye on it! Drives fail - and so long as you lose only ONE DRIVE, your RAID ARRAY will keep your data safe!

[NOTE: I'm a computer consultant - I've glossed over lots of technical details, but included enough to help you get started. Feel free to email me on here of you want additional help.)

"Come on man, I'm the guy who ......."

For decades he has lied about the truck driver who had the accident with his 1st wife. Inattention by his wife was determined to be the cause of the accident. The police also reported that there were no signs that the truck driver had consumed any alcohol prior to the accident.

Biden has lied about pretty much everything.

First: WTF? The posting and article are on Trump-a-holic Mike Lindell, not Joe Biden... If you've got a beef with Joe Biden's "memorial" tonight to the 500,000+ dead in the US from Covid, start your own topic!

      But on another level:

Really? Have you absolutely no heart or empathy for someone simply because you disagree politically?

Have you no compassion at all?

      ... purely for political points?

Whether Joe Biden's first wife contributed to the accident, or whether the truck driver was drunk (no investigation was done because: in 1972 we didn't vilify drunk drivers the way we do today... that didn't start happening until the 1980's and MADD) if of no consequence!

Neither the presence nor absence of alcohol was shown: no breathalyzer was taken (the technology was in its infancy in 1972, and not in widespread use in the US), and no blood was drawn... which also wasn't unusual in 1972! [See what a 2-minute Wikipedia search - with a few clicks on references - will teach you?]

Either way, Joe Biden was left with a dead wife, a dead baby daughter, and 2 badly injured little boys - in an ER - on what should have been one of the happiest days of his life!

This is the kind of dark and dangerous rhetoric: insistence on purity for the other side; and piety for your own - that will be the death of our Democracy...

I'm no fan of Joe Biden's politics - his huge spending plans are going to bring back economic inflation like we haven't had since the 1970s - but he's still a human being - and one who has suffered numerous, terrible tragedies in his life.

He may not be my favorite President of all time, but he's not a comic-book villain, and he IS a human being!

    • Trump-a-holic My-Pillow founder sued for $1.3-billion

Yet another Trump-allegiant fool has followed the Great Orange Don-ald into a Trumpster Fire of legal trouble...

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Dominion Voting Machines has filed a defamation and libel lawsuit against MyPillow founder Mike Lindell. (Edit: Click the link above... the words Wall Street Journal... will take you to their article)...

Seems his continual claims that the company's voting machines were mis-counting election results (presumably in favor of Biden), even after manual recounts had proved that the results were accurate, are now under intense scrutiny.

Like Rudy Giuliani, Mr. Lindell has put his dick in a grinder by being very careful to NEVER repeat those claims in any arena where truth is required (like a court, or under deposition, or under oath), but continually made those same claims in public forums... even after proof was provided specifically to him.

This did a GREAT job of shielding him from perjury charges, but set him up for a slam-dunk defamation suit - where there has to be evidence you KNEW the information you were peddling was false... evidence that he created and strengthened by his unwillingness to repeat those lies under oath!

Seems Mr. Lindell may be following Mr. Trump and Mr. Giuliani into the poor-house!

$1.3billion is a WHOLE LOTTA overpriced pillows!

THIS is what happens when you are in a cult-of-personality, and the object of your devotion is a narcissistic, pathological liar!
