I think its depend on your interest and mood. For me, in general I like natural traveling and adventuring, spend vacation near, lake, forest, beach, and river, will be a very good place. I think this is based on everybody interests.

Movie adaptation is visualization on the every each of the book pages. In this point, lies the very huge different about the two, Book and Movie. Reading a book, our imagination is unlimited, while watching a movie, our imagination stuck on every picture that we see on the screen. In movie, we see only things what director what us to see.

Personally, I'd like to watch the movie/series first then the book. I'm kinda upset after I read Harry Potter books then watch the movies. There are a lot of story on the book that the movies cannot pictured it, even with now days high technology and visualization. So, for me, it always feeling better when I found the book is worse then the movie/series, rather than the the movie/series is nothing like the book. I really hate that.
