Ok, I'll admit it, he's fucking cute and it's hard to hate cute, innit? But that means I am barely aware of him as a muscian. But somehow or another he's managed to, first off, to not die (which is pretty important for anyone expecting longetively, if not success), and, oddly more importantly, remain successful. [Oooh, side-note: Elvis made far more money dead than alive. Blame marketing …?] At any rate, I'll give him lots of credit for some Funny or Die vids, or the Hitler Rants Parodies (yes, Adolph wants the Biebs dead), and, my fave, The Bieb opens up The Daily Show. As Jon Stewart.

I never really had a favorite film until I saw 'Once Upon A Time In America'. Ok, actually the second time. The first time was the, er short version release for America. A mere 2 1/2 hours. This one was linear. But when you got to the end, it made very little sense. So then I saw the long version. This one is very broken up. And OMG! That telephone will NOT SHUT UP! Sort of starts in the middle (er, you kinda are allowed to think it's the middle). And at the end, DeNiro just lays back …. and smiles. And this is where, if you've been paying very close attention, you know that he's a dead man and that a good chunk of what you've seen is a vision of a future that won't happen. So, this is my five star movie.

Been following Tom since he was in braces. I, somewhat recently, was trying to tell someone about him, but my dyslexia kicked in and I was telling him about how utterly cute Tom Delay was when he was younger. Uh, you've got to be American to understand how utterly bizzare that sounded.

Just had to check this one out simply to see if it was Gohmert or my idiot Rep. Lamar Smith. But really, I shoulda figured it was Gohmert. I used to have an excellent Rep. in Lloyd Doggett, but was gerrymandered out of his district. We ain't all fools and idiots here in Texas, it just seems that way.

I swear, I first read this as "putting your car on a diet …" which, of course sounded kind of interesting  But, really, it is a no-brainer that a cat will pester the food provider when it is hungry. Which we pretty much take as affection as opposed to say, a dog's annoying bark at you. My cats will take walks with me, as long as there aren't to many people or things to be wary of. Then they'll wait til I come back. Now that I consider a bit closer to affection.

Elvis was my first idol, but Lennon's death hit me hardest (I was one of the few people who not only owned The Wedding Album, but actually listened to it  :)). I also miss Janis and Jimi, but the standout dead musician would be Bach. He is even more fun to play than to listen to.
