Three Chinese men have launched a public campaign sending bright red trucks with slogans denouncing homosexual “conversion therapy” through major cities in China, in a rare public protest against homophobia.
Artist Wu Qiong said the protest was inspired by the 2017 film “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” in which a woman uses billboards to draw attention to her daughter’s unsolved rape and murder.

First openly gay US presidential candidate (from a major party)
Pete Buttigieg, Mayor of South Bend, Ind., Joins Democratic 2020 Race. What's interesting is that he doesn't want to be running on the platform of potentially being the first gay president, but on the platform of being the first millennial president. Which is probably a much better strategy, honestly, and helps normalize being gay and shows it isn't/shouldn't be a big deal.

RE: Is it okay to say "Whites only" on tinder/grindr profile?
Ah, the old "white people are the real victims" card. Cool, cool.

RE: An interesting take on LGBT folks in Hinduism
There isn't a definitive stand on cross-dressing per se, but many folk traditions involve men dancing in drag to religious songs during festivals, so it was clearly never a problem.

RE: I tried to tell a Frenchman that I'm an overweight homosexual

Video warns Russians will be forced to live with gay people if they don’t vote
This is plain weird.
Russians who don’t vote in next month’s presidential elections risk seeing their country transformed into a gay-friendly state where people in their 50s are eligible for military conscription, a homophobic and xenophobic viral video has warned.

RE: What counts as 'being out'?
So the surrounding factors and social attitudes to homosexuality also count. Thanks!

Why are gay men always first to check-out of a hotel?
They had their shit packed the night before.

RE: How To Pee With Morning Wood
I usually try to bend to nearly-plank level, but if I am feeling too lazy I may use the wash basin with the tap turned on, and wipe it with liquid soap right after. It feels a little gross, but it's too convenient, and it's an ensuite bathroom with me the only regular user.

RE: Age range
I had a 20-year-old boyfriend when I was 27, and am desperately running after a 38-year-old at age 30. I also had a brief relationship with a 37-year old woman when I was 22, and it was cool.
I generally use the half-your-age-plus-5 rule of thumb. I don't think I am averse to exploring any age range, but at age 30 I am actively looking for 20 to 42 or 45 year olds. I generally do end up with really young hookups (20 or 22 years of age) via apps, who make for great shags, but poor relationships. -
Keeping a self-pleasuring log
I have an IFTTT mobile button that I can click everytime I masturbate, one button for masturbating to straight porn/fantasies, one for non-straight. The click makes an entry in a spreadsheet recording date and time. This then adds on to graphs showing straight vs. gay shags, average sessions per day, per week, on particular days of the week, time of day, and number of hours between sessions. Until now I had not been logging sexual intercourse, though I can probably make provisions for that too. Have been doing this about 4 months now. Also, I do not note the length of sessions since that's inconvenient, subjective, and not as useful in my opinion.
I'd like to say that it's been great doing this, since I have a better idea of my habits, and now masturbate 60-65% fewer number of times per week or month than I used to with greater control over temptations. I also go through less porn than earlier, last longer (and can enjoy them in full), edge 2-4 times every time, and have a higher quality bar. Unsurprisingly, my ejaculations during masturbation have become more pleasurable, and my sexual performance has improved too. My last hookup also commented on the strength and quantity of my ejaculate.
It's very convenient, and it seemed weird to me at first, but now I'd recommend it to everyone for the above reasons.

What's the difference between a straight wedding and a gay wedding?
The reasons the parents are crying.

Back, sack, crack !?
I have a lot of hair on my back, sack, and crack, and am exploring the possibility of having them removed.
But I have no idea what it entails or the practicalities of it, such as the pain threshold, risks, advantages etc., and I don't even know where it's done and how much it costs. While I google as much as I can, is there anyone who has experience or who can point me to a reliable source of info? -
What counts as 'being out'?
I am always confused re: what counts as being out. There's a guy I knew via work for 2 years before I saw his facebook relationship status about coupling with a guy. I had no idea he was gay, but he had been out, and it just never came up. In my own case, most of my friends know, but I haven't come out to family and a few colleagues, and don't discuss it on social media. Similarly there are others who haven't told many people, but won't lie if asked about it.
So, what would you say 'being out' comprises of?

RE: Any really good coming out stories?
Well, I came out to a close friend, and he was surprised and said "Wow! That's so cool," which was the most pleasant reaction so far. I felt happy and complemented him by saying that I always thought of him as kind-of cute, and he instantly leaned forward and gave me a little kiss on the lips. I blushed and he laughed, and said that he was flattered.
He isn't gay/bi to my knowledge, and that was just a spontaneous friendly gesture, and I loved it  -
Jacinda Ardern becomes first New Zealand PM to march in gay pride parade
This is a big deal because countries like Australia still have a long way to go, and one hopes the rest of the Commonwealth follow her example.

RE: An interesting take on LGBT folks in Hinduism
There is a rather esoteric bit buried in, which lists 12 (or maybe it was 15) types of "men who are not men", including "men who have vaginas", "men who use their mouths as vaginas", "men who use their ass as vaginas" etc.
It is tough to say whether it's homophobic or whether it embraces homosexuality, since it does not advocate hatred for said categories, and maybe legitimises them by acknowledgement. It could also be interpreted as saying that these are not "real men," and is perhaps meant to deprive them of patriarchal authority.Hinduism has been trans- friendly, with gods/deities taking transgender forms, incarnating in opposite genders, lusting said opposite-gendered incarnation etc. Trans communities have traditionally been acknowledged, respected, and given space in society.
Unfortunately, some very popular religious figures are now marketing their yoga retreats as un-gaying centres. They get away with classifying homosexuality as a disease because it is not directly mentioned at all in scripture. And Hinduism is generally used as a tool for oppression by politicians today, who interpret it to cater to their political ends.

Elon-gate unfortunately sounds like a political scandal involving Elon musk.
