I have previously pointed out that AFTER the Charlottesville car rammer plowed AHEAD, he was immediately attacked by over a dozen people dressed in fatigues with deadly, heavy weapons - resulting in him backing up rather than to sit there and be beaten to death.

Both sides have posted conspiracy theories, fake news and whatnot.     It's not my job to be the site's fact checker on every topic.   As I have repeatedly said, slug it out in a DEBATE, don't whine to me to remove it.   If it's fake news, then you'll win with proof.

Fred called some leftist a "racist" and they whined to me, demanding he be muted.   If I muted everyone who called me (not even counting the other non leftists), all the leftists would be muted.

I'm called "extreme far right" because I hate the identity politics of the left and I don't hate Trump enough.   I'm evil because I hate bikelock liberals, rather than worship them.   I'm hated because I don't blindly view every violent action by the left as justified.

I liked at most the obvious part of your answer:

It's has been no secret for decades that Senator John McCain is a complete asshole, and only cares about embellishing his own legacy. 
However, because his daddy was a Navy Admiral, and he plays the "veteran" card to the max.. there is no way to get his ass out of Senate.

BUT!  What if Trump had offered McCain some position such as Secretary of State or some other position.. to get McCain out of the senate.. forcing a republican special election to fill that seat… and then FIRE McCain!

In fact, it could be done easily.  Here's a hypothetical speech for Trump  "Secretary of State McCain is a great guy,  he's fantastic.  I know he would never resign because he loves his country so much.  However, due to his age, and his diagnosis of brain cancer, it would be cruel to keep John on as Secretary of State.  Therefore, with deep regret, I must let John go so he can enjoy his retirement and seek the medical attention he needs".  Trump could further embellish that bullshit by giving McCain a Medal of Freedom award.     
Trump could then whisper in McCain's ear...   "so long sucker!   don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!  Buh BYE!"

It's possible he could be dead, or imprisoned, or might as well be.
He has been boxed in.  He has no place to go, nothing more he can do.

He can't do that anymore.  He is now like the "Boy Who Cried Wolf".  He has exhausted every bit of self promotion

Trump is a lot smarter than even I give him credit for.   It's possible that Trump is almost as smart as me!
