In the UK, if you don't qualify for disability welfare, you are not deemed to be disabled.

There can be some overlap, like say for flu shots where disabled and "at risk" people get the shots for free.

Being "at risk" means you have a serious health condition, but it does not mean you are disabled because of it.

BTW, I now self identify as a triple amputee, with a gamy leg.

The main key that interests me is that this assignment was done in a school somewhere in rural Connecticut. I'm assuming that it's somewhere in rural Connecticut as the news story doesn't reveal the name of the school or the town. However, viewing this from a sociological lens, it kind of makes me wonder how this assignment would have been received in an urban school as compared to a rural one.

First of all, the Capitol Police are not "the Feds" (which usually refers to the FBI or the Justice Department - neither of which are affiliated in any way with the Capitol Police).

Next, since when was there an assumption that the Capitol Police were a "liberal" police force? Do you think that there is a wholesale "shift" in policing depending on who's in power? (there is not!)

Also, the "moron" (oops, "reporter") in this YouTube video (a great source for news - so long as you don't care about facts!) makes it sound like this TX Republican (Troy Nehls) being an anti-Pelosi representative is some kind of surprise! (DOH! That's about as shocking as learning cats do not like water!)

Finally, the Capitol Police report says nothing about being "disguised as electricians" - but do claim they were investigating a door being left open... a violation of the Capitol Police recommended security procedures... you know, the guys who are there to protect the legislators and their staffs, trying to make sure they're actually safe - and doing things that will keep them safe.

OF COURSE, if you're a conspiracy theory nut-job, like this guy in the video, that is a sure sign that the President is taking cues from the likes of Putin and Xi - and is organizing a way to stay in office permanently by removing the opposition! (Oops... that was the LAST President, not this one! My bad!)
