Advice given hereposted in HIV & AIDS
While we may have some medical professionals or people with experience from living with HIV posting here, it is impossible to give you a complete diagnosis over the internet, so it's your responsibility to seek proper medical advice from your doctor.
Always remember that the different factors involved in the treatment of HIV will differ from one person to another, so it is extremely important that you never take things upon yourself to simply change your healthcare practices, without first consulting your doctor to make sure that it is safe to do so, and that the change is what is actually best for your particular case.

US Presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann's business, run by her husband, that advocates "pray the gay away" gets support from Uganda's hate mongering Rev "dey eat da poo poo" and his church.

RE: Senate Judiciary Committee Approves DOMA Repealposted in Gay News
Let's put it this way, ENDA (Employment Non Discrimination Act) has been up for a vote every year since 1970, under 4 different names, and still we can't get it passed.

RE: British gays can now 'get married' in churchesposted in Gay News
The UK has strict rules on where you can have your ceremony, regardless if you are hetero or gay, and every place that is allowed needs a very expensive license to have it on the premises. This means you can' really go too crazy on where you have it.
Not all churches are homophobic, as the article show. More than a dozen church organizations support gays and gay marriage, but are banned by law from doing them under the guise of religious freedom.
The other aspect is, gays are banned from marriage FULL STOP, not just religious ones. So it's not just about religion, as we're banned from secular marriage as well.

British gay couples are still 2nd class citizens, no matter how they dress it up.

RE: Banning of membersposted in GayTorrent.ru Discussions
Banning for flaming and the like is rare.
99% of staff banning is for technical reasons; ie ratio cheating and duplicate accounts.

RE: Cameron threat to dock some UK aid to anti-gay nationsposted in Gay News
Mr Cameron's threat applies only to one type of bilateral aid known as general budget support, and would not reduce the overall amount of aid to any one country.
So it's a pointless exercise as they will still get the same amount of money.

RE: Extra bonnus points to upload more imagesposted in GayTorrent.ru Discussions
When I approve pictures, I go with the better picture.
As an example, say 2 people upload the cover. Whichever cover is the better copy, that's the one I allow, while deleting the other.

RE: Burning DVD issues with Convert X to DVDposted in Computer Discussion & Support
1. Did you try converting another file, to see if that worked?
2. CovertXtoDVD is about to go to v5xxx, so you are way behind.
3. Is your computer old? A lot of older computers are struggling with some of the newer video files we've been seeing here.
Convert X said immediately after I loaded the file that is was an unrecognized format
I'd say that's where the problem lies. There's probably something wrong with the video file itself. I've gotten a few "stinkers" over the years and I've made a special folder for the one I think are worth keeping.

New Xbox 360 Sposted in Video Gaming
I just upgraded to the new Xbox 360 S, with the 250gb hdd.
The noticeable differences are;
1. it's much smaller than the old 360
2. it's wireless without having to buy the £80 wireless adaptor
3. it's extremely quiet
4. it uses touch sensors rather than actual buttons
5. I can install all my current games on there with room left over, unlike my old Xbox 360 w/ 120gb hdd.

RE: Warning, Facebook will tell everybody that you illegally download moviesposted in GayTorrent.ru Discussions
All that being said, be aware that in some areas such as the United Kingdom, the rules are a little different. In such areas, it is the responsibility of the ISP subscriber to ensure that their internet connection (namely their WiFi connection) is secure. In areas like the United Kingdom, if you fail to properly secure your internet connection, the subscriber is responsible for any actions made using that service.
That is not completely true.
I use Sky for my broadband and they gave me a router that I am not allowed to alter with our their permission. So I have absolutely no control over the security of my line.
This is true of most of the big broadband companies and several small BB companies as well.

The only thing she got right was that homosexuality has existed since the beginning of time.

RE: Mitt Romney Supports 'Partnership Agreements,' Not Marriage, For Gay Couplesposted in Gay News
"I can say look, there are a lot of folks who are raised by one parent, through divorce through death or through having a child out of wedlock," Romney replied. "But my view is a society recognizes that the ideal setting for raising a child is when you have the benefit of two people working together and where one is male and one is female. I happen to believe that and that's the reason that I think as a society we say, 'You know what? We are going to call marriage what it has been called for 6,000 years.'"
So he supports polygamy and gay marriage since both have been around in the last 6,000 years.
I don't think Romney is a personal homophobe, but he is a political homophobe.
It's like how Obama used to support full gay marriage until he decided to run for the US Senate, then he was against gay marriage to appease the conservatives in the southern half of the state.

Sadly, there are still people that claim that it never happened and was nothing more than a hoax to get "special rights" for gays.

RE: Judged and banned as "Non-gay related movies"posted in GayTorrent.ru Discussions
It's 99% about the legal issues involved.
A lot of the virus/worm/trojan stuff I've seen lately is false positives. I use Kaspersky IS 2012 and it falsely accused a legit (retail) program of being a trojan and quarantined one of the files making the program useless. I submitted it the file to Kaspersky and they confirmed it was a false positive and added it as an exception to their next update.
