The reseed request button is disabled, if nobody completed the download of the torrent's files. Only the original uploader can complete the upload.
The upload stuck at 99% or so typically means that a file at the initial uploader's storage got altered or blocked by another application (e.g. media player, indexing software). In a collection, it may concern only one clip or some pictures or text files.
At this very moment we got issues with the site and tracker …
If you are still lead to the home page, there may be another poll?
That has nothing to do with each other. Currently our tracker is not working correctly and all torrents will turn red.

There are two answers to this.
1/ The easy answer on the technical aspect:
Just enter a new search text into the "Search" box, change other settings if felt necessary and it the "Search / Refresh" button.
2/ The more difficult on what search terms to enter and options to choose:
That is basically what this guide together with the tips of users having posted in this topic try to explain. So I suggest you start to read the guide if you haven't yet.
Some hints for search terms:
Use the movie title only, without studio, omit the apostrophe ' and it's 's (means if the title says "The Owner's Boner" search for "The Owner Boner"
Search for actor names and only the actor names, no "," , "&" or "and" or "'s" (the names may be in the description, not the movie title)
Use the studio name only, omit words in it like "Studios", "Video", "Productions", "Entertainment", "Pictures", etc .., sort by size
For Asian movies, with often variable translations of the non Latin alphabet titles, a search in the approbate categories (Asian, Chubbies, Bear, BDSM, … ; one at a time) should be done, sorted by size, then going to the size and look to that torrent's descriptions if the same, e.g. compare number of bytes and images
Don't forget to search all categories by selecting no category.

Remarks:
While torrent review the staff can make only a quick search and expect the uploader to have done multiple searches before. Unfortunately we find much too many duplicates with easy first search attempts.
However, by practising we develop a "feeling" what search terms are likely to find a duplicate
The staff uses the exact same search you got, we don't have a more advanced search tool. It is only the experience to use it, which makes the difference and this guide was made to share that experience.

If that does not help, you'll need a dedicated torrent client programme. I would recommend that anyway, because your Ares is sending each time you start seeding a torrent a "Have completed download" message instead of a "have all files". That makes the same torrents appearing multiple times in your Profile here.

Can you tell me some details about your inbox:
a) how many messages
b) which size
c date and time of the oldest message
I've never encountered such an issue with my inbox, but on the other hand, it's a moderator account which might have higher limits.
This may be something only an administrator can answer ….
All members who haven't answered the poll about the b_- and straight porn will have this issue.
Just answer to that poll and all should work as usual.

If nobody else have uploaded a torrent for the files and it isn't put on the ban list: just re-upload as a new torrent.

possibility is that you've modified your "hosts" entries from times were we had DNS issues and it was a quick fix. It was the case on one of my PCs.
To correct that with Windows Vista and 7:
1/ In the Start menu select Accessories > right click on Notepad and select to start as administrator
2/ In the Notepad select File > Open > navigate to C:/ > Windows > System32 > drivers > etc
3/ Select in Notepad to show all files bottom right instead .txt files only, open the hosts file you'll see
If you see entries for gaytorrent.ru and gtru.net, just put an # sign in front of them or delete those line.
Save the file, which will only possible if you opened notepad with right mouse click as administrator as said upstairs.
ATTENTION: Do NOT touch any other entries, wrong manipulation may result in loosing internet navigation.
For Mac users, in the Terminal type:
sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
Then use the editor "nano" to change that file.

Share ratio is simply the amount of uploaded data divided by the amount of downloaded data (Ratio = UL/DL)
The minimum (share) ratio is an arbitrary (by the high powers of this site) defined requirement (rule). The reason to require a minimum share ratio is to avoid hit and run downloads, keep torrents seed and available, have fast downloads etc …

Even though my torrent is still seeding and leeching, my share ratio is getting lower and lower.
What is the problem?
The problem is the internet connections allowing usually much faster download than upload. This can only be compensating by longer seeding once a download has been finished. In addition to upload there must be downloader. On older torrents, other downloader will not be available immediately but sometimes only after days, weeks or months.
If you ask why my torrent shows leeching, though I have completed the download, this is due to the 30 minutes update cycle between tracker and torrent client. Last update was at 10:07 CEST, you finished the download at 10:14 CEST. With the update at 10:37 CEST the download should become zero.
It really depends: Pictures are resized to display in 1024 width max. If a contact sheet is organized well (e.g. the numbers I've given) the result are thumbnail pictures on the contact-sheet bigger than many single pictures uploaded.

First thing to try: Delete it from µTorrent and try again.
If that does not help, go to your Profile and reset the passkey. Then reloaded the torrent file again.
It looks that you account hasn't a passkey assigned. Normally our system generates a passkey on the first torrent download. Sorry, don't know why that did not happen.

it is deductible that the idea would be to make the bi and straight porn sections invisible by default and a member would need to enable them in his Profile. Which basically means nothing changes for users doing nothing.
This requires changes in the site, so it isn't for the immediate future.
Personally, what I would see is the creation of a "Bi-Porn (mmf)" category, still fitting well into the "Gay" programme of the site and especially as the sister site sextorrents.ru remains down. That is an quite easy addition, needing no change in the site structure.
As of the concerns of a "Straight Invasion", IMHO it will not happen. Which straight guys will register to GayTorrent.ru for their porn? None, except if it is for gay bashing, which is the fastest way to get banned (BTW: we didn't have that issue over the last years).
If you look to a friendly competitor site ourGTN.org, which allows Bi- and Straight porn, you will notice it remains a small section and does not impact the gay orientation of their forum.
which torrent are you requested? Can you give a link to the description page, please?
Noch ein Tipp: Die Voreinstellunf für die Anzahl der angezeigten Torrents pro Seite von der Voreinstellung "Default" auf einen höheren Wert setzen.
Scrollen geht schneller als blättern. Ich benutze z.B. 100 (anstatt 19 in der Voreinstellung). Das ist besser wenn man so wie ich zum Torrent-Freischalten viel sucht und ergebnisse mit mehreren hunderten von Torrents hat.
The higher powers haven't yet informed the moderation team about the reason to ban that version or built of µTorrent.
Basically there are two possible reasons to ban a torrent client:
a/ Wrong upoad/download updates sent to the tracker > would look like ratio cheating
b/ Issues with the user's privacy
My assumption: beta builds of µTorrent have been banned due to ratio reporting issues in the recent past with them.
Sorry, I've split this into an own topic, because it is about a similar but different subject.
What you observe is related to the way the updates between torrent client, tracker and site works.
a/ There is delay of a few minutes ( ~1 to 3 min) between the tracker and the result shown on the site. You can test that out by starting a torrent and look for the delay between seeing it seeding with 0 (1) peers and "working" tracker status in the torrent client and it appearing in the search result on the site.
b/ When a new torrent has been uploaded and started to be seed, the torrent client will update the tracker and the torrent will become visible in the "Browse" and "Search" pages (see a/). At that moment there are not yet any leecher. So no immediate upload.
Leecher joining the torrent's swarm will be registered by the tracker and visible in the count on the site. However, the next update between torrent client and tracker is programmed to be in 30 minutes (a tracker cycle, usually you can see the count down for that in the torrent client programme somewhere) and until that update, the initial uploader torrent client does not know these leecher.
That means in practice, the seeding will start transferring data only about 30 minutes after the torrent has been improved.
The update cycle can be broken by either force a tracker update manually in the torrent client programme or by a STOP and restart of the torrent in the torrent client programme. The restart will do an update.
