Lets go back to Example 1. What needs to be stressed on is the "Well defined common theme" (in the torrent title, or at least description).

In your example it is easy, it is "Guy X", but I think many multiple (video) file torrents posted here lack the well defined common theme, but don't get reported. Reported not as duplicate, but reported for lacking that common theme or lacking the definition of that theme if it is visible from the file list.

What makes you saying this? Was something you said in this topic removed?

It is the Owners' and Administrators' running the site and their responsibility. How ever they handle notices alleging copyright infringement, including those committed by members, is up to them.

Currently I see you seeding more than 10 torrents and downloading 2. So the connection to the tracker seems to work correctly.
On the seeding, there are almost no downloading peers, which would explain missing upload.

Yes, your torrent client will send in 30 minutes intervals (and when the download selected is finished) how much it has downloaded and possibly uploaded to others. So only the amount of data actually downloaded will count.

You are wrong in the assumption nothing was done one the first torrent. The issue is that since then, there were 16 (!) votes for "Mature" but only 4 for "Straight older", so it was moved back into the Mature category by the system.

The supposed protection of changes of the main category seems not to work correctly.

As µTorrent user, if you use the simple "Delete" option (and not the "Delete and …"), the .torrent files are all still there in µTorrent's torrent store.

The default location is "%AppData%/uTorrent" (without the quotes). Type that in the left upper box of the Windows File Explorer.
N.B.: %AppData% is a system variable holding the path to the directory in which applications store their user's data

If you haven't voted, the " Show torrents not yet voted " link on the "Search" page allows to see the first 250 not voted completed torrents.
Then if you vote, you see the next n at its end, where n is the number of which you've voted, until less than 250 left not voted.

Obviously this works only once, so you might want to save the links to the voted ones into a text file.

Attention: The download counts to the download and will reduce the share ratio.

Those who won't complete will get soon or later set to have their uploads going through moderator approval, so the pace and completition can be controlled.

Multiple uploads at once are permitted IF they all complete within 24 hours after their respective upload. (Just to remind that change versus some years ago).

You could try to use Avidemux (handles other digital container formats than AVI, too).

It is rather simple, free and allows to cut a movie, including stream copies (no additional losses), re-assemble parts and re-encode.

You would loose that bet. There are many, many different uploaders adding to the listing, yesterday more than 60  :cheers:
