Thank you for the kind words! Well, actually, it's my hope that the other staff members (besides my occasional foray into picture approvals) who review picture submissions prior to approving them… don't allow for ANY "of those near-identical sample pics", but instead, delete these types of useless pictures. That's my hope, anyway; we're all relying on other Staff member's time, patience, and judgement… for this (hoped for) outcome...

The task of Picture Approval is often one of the most backlogged (log jammed :D) tasks presented to our all-volunteer staff; at this exact moment, there are 89 torrents with over 900 pictures waiting to be reviewed (and probably) approved by staff.

It's become a recent problem of some members "gaming" the process of uploading an excessive number of pictures, simply for the sake of earning bonus points. While we normally appreciate member contributions to other member's torrents… when these picture uploads are done to excess, simply for earning points... the end results are... rather destructive, on a number of levels.

Thus... We request that our members be aware and fully conscious of the following RULE...

When uploading pictures to torrents, please avoid "spamming" with excessive numbers of repetitive pictures.

Too, please understand… this type of "picture spamming" can

1. Detract from the overall attractiveness of Torrent Presentations,

2. Lead to member reports and complaints about this issue, to staff,

3. Task our (volunteer) staff to take time and make the time-consuming effort to manually clean up the messy results of your Picture Spamming

4. Cause your account to be logged as in violation of "Picture Spamming"; subsequent repeated behavior leading to Account being placed in Warned Status.

Clearly… considering the contents? Certainly NO MORE THAN 10 PHOTOS would suffice, agreed?

Right… in the early days (consider that 2008)... in more innocent days... the site was rather TOTALLY OPEN, and members could see pretty much anything and everything (unless a member had specified the highest privacy settings for their account.)

Over time... as the Internet evolved, and privacy concerns evolved, and studios and ISPs began their attack modes... the site had to evolve, also, clamping down on showing or exposing pretty much anything and everything from being able to be seen by our members.

I really regret this, on a personal level... to where we've come to... as a society, to this level of being forced into another form of "hiding", as it were.

ABOVE ALL, I REALLY miss our CHAT window that we used to have.  That used to be so much fun, sharing links to pictures, videos, sharing opinions and jokes...!!!  I miss that... so much.  :cry2:

But... back on topic... we DO have the comments you can leave, in torrents, eh?  AND FEEL FREE to ask the uploader if he will post (in the next torrent comment) some links to OTHER  uploads of his... or similar answers to queries you may have...

Of course, too, the forum is pretty open to being able to request links and information you may desire; or opinions you'd like to express... within the forum rules, of course!

We don't have a chart, per se, the price of freeleeching is just (as far as I know) directly relative to the size of the torrent's contents.

YUP!!! It's been shocking to ME TOO, how vile and vulgar some members have been when leaving torrent comments… it's somtimes beyond shocking…  :afr:

Often, then, the uploader of that torrent will report these shockers to the staff... and then it seems that I'm often the only staff member willing to tackle the problem.

It's become an interesting study (to me) in human psychology... to see how they will respond to my reprimanding comments, or PM...!

Looking at the member's private account history, I can often predict if this will escalate into a full-fledged battle (which never ends well, for the member, natch!)  OR if the member will possibly possess enough wisdom, self-control, insight and humility... to simply apologize.

Having raised THREE CHILDREN, myself, I can tell you that actual APOLOGIES just carry SO MUCH WEIGHT for me... they are simply the magic key (again, to me) to wiping out the offense, reversing the penalty, and wiping the slate clean (aside from the history in the member's account).

Having said that...? ? ?  It's maybe only a 10% to 20% of members that will manage to achieve making the simple apology.

Human nature, and human behavior... is strange.

In an effort to help you repair your ratio, I've just reset your gracetime counter (to loss of download rights) this one time, and (temporarily restored your download rights).

At the moment you are in the "Grace Period" countdown to losing your download rights again.

You have 31 days before the Grace Period expires, and you totally lose your download rights.

During the "Grace Period", (which is normally triggered right after your ratio drops below the minimum), you are able to download freeleech AND non-freeleech torrents, but you should be focusing on improving your ratio, only.

If your ratio continues to decline, then AFTER the Grace Period expires (and download privileges are removed,) downloading is ONLY permitted for freeleech torrents.

FreeLeech Torrents are explained in greater detail {click here}, and can help you restore your ratio, when members download what YOU are later seeding.

To assist you in maintaining a good ratio into the future, here's some advice that may help:

You should check to see that you have port forwarding set up properly. Your computer is much more difficult to "see" (IE your downloads can be painfully slow, and members have a harder time uploading to, or downloading from your computer), if your torrent client port is NOT being forwarded.

Upload your OWN torrent. It's easy to do, (just make sure it is not a duplicate) and then all that upload data credit is YOURS…at least until other seeders join in

DO NOT STOP your torrent nor torrent client, after uploading completes. KEEP IT RUNNING, so you can continue seeding to the next members who want this video, and help improve your ratio.

If it's your FIRST successful upload, you can request to be rewarded with a 600 Bonus Point AWARD(!!!) which can be traded in for 10GB of UPLOAD CREDIT!!! Here's the link to the forum topic that covers the rules and procedures for the FTU (First Time Uploaders) program:

The best way to continue to earn upload credit is to seed EVERYTHING you download, forever. This means DO NOT STOP your torrent nor torrent client, after downloading completes. KEEP IT RUNNING, so it can seed to the next member who wants this video, and help improve your ratio. While continuing to seed, you'll be earning a bonus point every two hours you offer to seed, regardless of whether other members are downloading from you or not.

Keep a very close eye on your Ratio, since it will take considerably more time to UPLOAD than it did to download. I would suggest you activate certain columns in your torrent client, so as to keep a close eye on each torrent statistics, in the future. On most torrent programs, you can right-click in the column headings and choose additional columns to be able to view.

I personally recommend "Name", "Size", "Done", "Added on", "Status", "Completed", "Down Speed", "Up Speed", "Seeds", "Ratio", "Peers", "ETA", and Tracker" as essential information and sort-columns. On most torrent programs, you activate these headings by right-clicking on the headings, and selecting and de-selecting your headings, as needed. You can also re-size the headings, by clicking and holding down on the right side of the heading, and dragging it a little bit to the left. You can reposition the columns by clicking (on the column heading) and holding down the mouse button, dragging the column left or right, as desired.

Initially choose only new torrents to download that seem popular, to insure that you will have others downloading (from you, to raise your ratio) after you finish. Our site runs a bit different than other torrent sharing porn sites, because of the vast number of new torrents that get uploaded every day. This tends to make the "popularity" of new torrents be rather short-lived; thus you need to really choose VERY RECENT torrents to download, to share, when trying to repair your ratio.

Freeleech Torrents can be downloaded without affecting your ratio. Even with download rights taken away, you can download any freeleech torrent, as long as it stays freeleech: Torrents which are freeleech will give you whatever you upload added to your ratio… but the size of the movie wont be added to your download, which means that it will only be a positive effect on your ratio (or neutral, if you dont upload anything at all). Do note: if the freeleech timer runs out however, whatever's left on the torrent will be added to your ratio.

After you download, in order to earn upload credit (sharing) you must keep the torrents running, keep your torrent client program running, and your computer turned on and connected to the internet, preferably ALL the time, if at all possible. You earn 1 bonus point for every 2 hours of seeding regardless of whether or not anyone is downloading from you.

You can also perform many tasks here on the board in order to earn Bonus Points, which can be traded in for Upload credit to improve your ratio. Hi ya'll,

Daily, on the helpdesk, we get reports from members who are rather UPSET at getting barrages of RESEED REQUESTS…!!!

And... they report members who seem to send endless streams of RESEED REQUESTS to staff, which in turn, tasks us with needing to take the time to send the offending member a PM to request a stop to these streams of Reseed Requests.

One of our competitor sites has an Automated feature that blocks members from sending Reseed Requests, on any given video, more than ONCE A WEEK.

We, at GTRU, have no such protections in place, and this freedom, such as it is, seems to be the source of CONSTANT irritation, by many members, who are annoyed by receiving so many Reseed Requests.

I think it's a REASONABLE REQUEST, to ask our members to...

PLEASE LIMIT YOUR RESEED REQUESTS TO ONE, PER VIDEO, PER DAY.

Did you send a Reseed Request?

I did that, and made it freeleech (to try and pick up seeders) and promoted it to the top of the public list for you.

It was last downloaded in November last year, so it hasn't been dead long.
