As you know, you had recently lost your download rights, due to your ratio problems.

In an effort to help you repair your ratio, I've just reset your gracetime counter (to loss of download rights) this one time, and (temporarily restored your download rights).

At the moment you are in the "Grace Period" countdown to losing your download rights, due to your low ratio.

You have 3 days before the Grace Period expires, and you totally lose your download rights, unless you manage to repair your ratio.

During the "Grace Period", (which is normally triggered right after your ratio drops below the minimum), you are able to download freeleech **AND** non-freeleech torrents, but you should be focusing on improving your ratio, only.

If your ratio continues to decline, then AFTER the Grace Period expires (and download privileges are removed,) downloading is ONLY permitted for _freeleech torrents_.

To assist you in maintaining a good ratio into the future, here's some advice that may help:

You should check to see that you have port forwarding set up properly. Your computer is much more difficult to "see" (IE your downloads can be painfully slow, and members have a harder time uploading to, or downloading from your computer), if your torrent client port is NOT being forwarded.

Upload your OWN torrent. It's easy to do, (just make sure it is not a duplicate) and then all that upload data credit is YOURS…at least until other seeders join in :)

The best way to continue to earn upload credit is to seed EVERYTHING you download, forever. This means DO NOT STOP your torrent nor torrent client, after downloading completes. KEEP IT RUNNING, so it can seed to the next member who wants this video, and help improve your ratio. While continuing to seed, you'll be earning a bonus point every two hours you **offer** to seed, regardless of whether other members are downloading from you or not.

Keep a very close eye on your Ratio, since it will take considerably more time to UPLOAD than it did to download. I would suggest you activate certain columns in your torrent client, so as to keep a close eye on each torrent statistics, in the future. On most torrent programs, you can right-click in the column headings and choose additional columns to be able to view.

I personally recommend "Name", "Size", "Done", "Added on", "Status", "Completed", "Down Speed", "Up Speed", "Seeds", "Ratio", "Peers", "ETA", and Tracker" as essential information and sort-columns. On most torrent programs, you activate these headings by right-clicking on the headings, and selecting and de-selecting your headings, as needed. You can also re-size the headings, by clicking and holding down on the right side of the heading, and dragging it a little bit to the left. You can reposition the columns by clicking (on the column heading) and holding down the mouse button, dragging the column left or right, as desired.

Initially choose only new torrents to download that seem popular, to insure that you will have others downloading (from you, to raise your ratio) after you finish. Our site runs a bit different than other torrent sharing porn sites, because of the vast number of new torrents that get uploaded every day. This tends to make the "popularity" of new torrents be rather short-lived; thus you need to really choose VERY RECENT torrents to download, to share, when trying to repair your ratio.

Freeleech Torrents can be downloaded without affecting your ratio. Even with download rights taken away, you can download any freeleech torrent, as long as it stays freeleech: Torrents which are freeleech will give you whatever you upload added to your ratio… but the size of the movie wont be added to your download, which means that it will only be a positive effect on your ratio (or neutral, if you dont upload anything at all). Do note: if the freeleech timer runs out however, whatever's left on the torrent will be added to your ratio.

After you download, in order to earn upload credit (sharing) you must keep the torrents running, keep your torrent client program running, and your computer turned on and connected to the internet, preferably ALL the time, if at all possible. You earn 1 bonus point for every 2 hours of seeding regardless of whether or not anyone is downloading from you.

You can also perform many tasks here on the board in order to earn Bonus Points, which can be traded in for Upload credit to improve your ratio. it sounds to me like your QTM has an old location for the uTorrent.exe program.

please uninstall QTM, and reinstall it, correctly pointing it to the new (classic) utorrent.exe program location on your hard drive, as per:

There's not any ability, with the current search engine, to search with combined items, as you described.

You'd need to search (with just filename ticked) "home" (without the quotes) and see the results, then try "gay", in a separate search, AFAIK.

Torrents that have no seeders are considered "dead" and are then removed from the public list.

When members come back online, and resume seeding that torrent again… it's no longer "dead"; it's being seeded again.

Clearly, torrent can go back and forth between "dead" and "seeded" status, all the time.

If your torrent client program just doesn't seem to want to download the torrent, let's get the information from there. Here's how:

In your torrent client program, click once on the torrent in question, to highlight it, then halfway down the screen, click on the ""Trackers" tab; in Transmission, you have to right click the torrent, then click "Properties", then go to the "Trackers" tab.

The information you read below, there, as illustrated in this screen shot from my computer, below, will give us some clue as to what's going on at your end:
…and will better explain what's going on with that specific torrent.

In the future, if you include this exact information in your helpdesk requests concerning torrent connectivity, it will be a big assist to our helpdesk staff.

Please follow the above instructions, and write us back with the information that is shown there, FOURTH line being the important line to quote, in detail, (or send a screen capture).

You can send us graphic images by

1. save your screen shot using Alt-Print Screen, then opening your favorite graphics program (even paint will work) and edit, paste as new image, then save the screenshot image using a file name with NO spaces.
2. use our bit-bucket software here: https://www.gaytorrent.ru/bitbucket.php to upload the image, then get a "http;\…... " address for that image, and include it in your help desk request.

It sounds like you're trying to upload the actual VIDEO, rather than the tiny torrent file, eh?

You should note the port number you used in the later version of uTorrent… and use the same number in the Classic version.

Yup! Torrents that aren't being seeded… are dead!

Not sure why that's puzzling to you, or surprising to you, but perhaps I missed your point.

Torrents are either dead, or being seeded, those are the two possibilities.

Maybe your surprise, or confusion is based upon the fact that dead torrents aren't shown on the public list of torrents, unless a member specifies "Including Dead" in their search, as such:

Ok, I understand exactly what you're saying.

Then, a question I have: How did you arrive at the conclusion that "The true issue is related to basic functionality, that is currently broken in the client."

Did the staff at qBittorrant tell you that? Are you a software / computer engineer, and you figured this out for yourself? OR you have additional information that certifies this conclusion.

Note I'm not questioning the truth of what you're saying, I'm just asking for the background support information that brought you to that conclusion that it's a software bug of qBittorrent.

Lastly… on a personal level, it's puzzling to me that you wish to continue hanging in there, with this qBittorrent program. Seems like a major headache, but maybe that's just me.

If you have any questions, or seek some assurances as to the integrity of the uTorrent Classic version of uTorrent (which is ABSENT of any spamware...) please ask, I've been using it for YEARS, as has most of our staff here, so we're pretty well informed on this program.

so you've explored all the options in your qBittorrent program, looking for settings similar to the ones described in the Vuze settings advice you received… and you're saying there are NO options settings that are similar, and could apply to this situation?

When you wrote the qBittorrent helpdesk... did you explain that this is happening on a site (GTRU) that has the scrape feature turned OFF ? ? ?

Personally, I think you ought to just cut your losses and switch to uTorrent Classic, as I mentioned in the helpdesk reply to you. Waiting for the programmers at qBittorrent to "fix their code" could become a study in frustration.

I did that, and got the category dropdown list to show again.

You may have more than one protection program running in your PC.

If you can't seem to make this known solution work (as it's the ONLY advice we have covering this symptom you described) then...

Note that the 4 things members seem to goof up the most when uploading their own torrent is…

1. insuring that the video you want to upload is located in the same folder you normally DOWNLOAD your porn to, on your hard drive, and you should create your torrent file referencing THIS file, in THIS location!!!

2. remembering to enter the tracker URL as:       http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru:2710/announce  
   when you create the torrent file, and

3. remembering to re-download your (modified) torrent file, AFTER you upload it. You must re-download the tiny .torrent file from your uploaded torrent presentation, in order to be able to seed it.

4. Remember that with THIS picture loader… the FIRST picture uploaded is the LAST picture displayed, in your torrent presentation.

...this all gets explained pretty well, in that illustrated guide I mentioned above.

Don't forget to re-download your torrent, after you finish the above steps!
